I am new here but I would like to tell of an experience I had... usually I have only had many experiences of what seems to be sleep paralysis over the last 10 yrs. I get the vibrations in my head as if I am laying next to a real noisy air conditioner. My body then seems to be in a paralyzed state for a few minutes and then all I can do is move my eyes. I cant scream or yell. Not sure if this really has anything to do with OBE but I finally decided to let myself go and allow to have what would ever happen
Now, I think I finally had an OBE a few weeks ago and this is what I can remember:
I was sleeping on my couch on my left side with my back towards the back side of the couch. I couldnt seem to fall asleep and I finally looked at the clock and the last time I remember seeing was 2am.. after the following experience I looked at the clock again and it said 3 am.. So this whole experience seemed to last about an hr.
I started to feel the vibrations like I have felt them in the past then all of a sudden it felt like I was either thrown from my body or shoved really harshly out of my body across the room right through the back of the couch. I landed on my butt with my back against the wall on the other side of the room. I didnt feel hurt or anything when I landed. It actually felt like I landed very softly which was odd because it was such a forceful exit out of my body.. It was dark and I couldnt really see anything, but I knew I was sitting on the floor.
It took me a moment to realize where I was and I could not see my actual physical body because it was on the other side of the couch ..after all these yrs. , this was the first time it actually felt like I left my body... so I was really in fear and decided I needed to get back to my body, only I could not see it. I kept saying in my mind and telling myself to " Get back " because I could not seem to speak the words only think them. It is the same technique I use to get myself out of that sleep paralysis state. Then all of a sudden I felt my body zooming very fast through what seemed like a long and very tight dark tunnel, I could see a very bright light at the end, but that is all I could see. then Boom I was suddenly back in my body.
So then I am laying there back in my body and I remember feeling happy and also that I was breathing very heavily as if I had just ran a mile and it feels like I am so exhausted..mindfully as well as physically.
is this what it is supposed to feel like>?
Why did it feel as if I was pushed or shoved out of my body?
Was there someone there that helped me out?
thanks all,
Sara
