Hello everyone,

First I would like to mention how wonderful it is to find a site with so many information on the subject of OBE, I have read several books about it and have been trying to induce an OBE for about a year. Well I did it a year ago for a few months, then I quit, and now I begun trying since a week or two.

I never had a succesful attempt yet. Mostly I practice before I go to sleep at night, I just try to relax as completely as I can.
When I am ' succesful' in doing so, and I do not fall asleep or lose patience, I usually start to wander off with my mind at some point. I am amble to redirect my mind to conscious OBE attempt, and then if I'm progressing this far, I get these sensations:

- I get very hot, my body sweats and i can feel the sweat dropping off my legs; Is this a normal sensation?
- I usually get the feeling of floating with my lower part of my body, or sort of levitating, but my head seems to be stuck all the time. This means I get some kind of weird pressure on my head, while the rest of my body is upward, and very relaxed I guess;

This week I had an experience like described here, and I lost consciousness at a certain point and than I felt back in my body (I guess) because it was a big shock and my body moved.

I have never been close to real OBE, at least thats what I think of it.

What I want to know is what is causing me to get hot/sweaty? It really discomforts me and might lower my chances of succes?
And why is it my head seems 'stuck'?

And if you please could give me any other type of advice in trying to project please tell me. Maybe I need to change practice times, relaxation ways or something?

Thank you in advance for your time and answers!

Greetings,

Memory.
