I've noticed lately when I project that my heart chakra has been beating (vibrating? don't know the word for it) like crazy. Since this has started happening, throughout the day I've been getting pains in the same spot where the beating is coming from. I've also noticed a warm feeling there occasionally. I'm just curious if this is related to my heart chakra, or if it's all in my head, or related to something else. I've noticed though, whenever I'm grateful, or at night when I think about everything I'm grateful for, I get this very sharp tense feeling where my heart chakra is at. Why?

As of lately I've been having no trouble going from lucid dream to projection. I set my alarm to go off 2 hours before I would normally get up, and then I project soon after that. The thing is though, I'm also so... groggy when I project that way. Everything is very unclear and it's like I'm moving through a thick soup, and then I just get sucked back into my body.

Yesterday was my first time trying to project from a meditative state, or not from a dream, and it seemed to be working well. I've been sleeping with a fan on my entire life, and having a fan on while I was trying to project almost seemed like it was tricking me into feeling relaxed and sleepy. After lying down for 5 minutes maybe, I started to see these weird swirls in my eyelids. They were mostly green and blue colored and I noticed as I focused my attention on that, my body went completely numb and felt almost heavy. It's hard to explain but it almost felt like my hands were in weird positions and I felt the urge to move them, but didn't. My body went completely frozen and it felt like I was almost in a hard shell. As soon as I noticed this my heart started pounding extremely fast. Although later I found out it wasn't actually my heart, but my heart chakra that was freaking out. I got to this point twice yesterday, and then stopped thinking I was going to give myself a heart attack. I looked on here and found out it wasn't actually my heart though.

Is this good? Am I close? What do I do from here?

I set my alarm this morning so I could get up, go back to sleep, and project. I went from laying there, to lucid dream, to projecting. I did notice though, after the vibrations as I started to come out of my body that I was picking up on a radio station. At first I thought I was picking up on spirits around me, but I opened my "eyes" as I was still coming out and there was no one around. Then they started talking about the traffic report. I did notice though, that once I was out of my body, I stopped hearing the radio station. I also wanted to point out, I'm home from college and right now my room is completely bare. I don't have a radio, and alarm clock, or anything like that in my room. I was home alone and no one was here to play a radio.

I also have a question though, I've found that I still have a really intense pull towards my body when I project. Once I start projecting I try as hard as I can to get away as fast as I can, but every time I project, as soon as I get out of my body I'm drawn back into it. How can I make this stop? Will it get easier the more I do it?

And also, does the position you sleep in have any effect on if you can project or not? I've found that every time I project I'm either laying on my back, or my stomach. My stomach works, but it seems so much easier for me to get out when I'm laying on my back. I've never been able to project while laying on my side. Is this just a coincidence?

I've been talking about astral projection with my boyfriend lately, and he told me that he's never experienced it before. So I was wondering, is it possible for me to help him out of his body when I'm projecting? Or is there some way that we can project together?

I'm confused. What is it? I've been trying to figure out what it is for a long time now, and I can't figure it out?

Also, I was just trying to astral project, and something odd happened. I had been laying down for about 30 minutes and my body felt like it was dumb, and almost cold. Then I started getting a high pitch sound in my ears, which kinda scared me and woke me up. What the heck was that? Is that a good thing?

I had a dream when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I was at some expo place looking at snowmobiles or something, when all of a sudden everyone fell over and I guess... died? Then I saw myself float out of my body, turned around, saw my body and everyone elses. Then everything changed. I sort of half woke up from the dream, but then everything got gray and blurry. It looked like I was vibrating, but I didn't feel anything. Then I opened my eyes and I was down the street from my then house. I thought it was weird, and when I stood up there were people everywhere. I got all excited because I knew I was heaven, or whatever you prefer to call it. I ran down the street and my mom was there. She was excited and talking to this woman with long dark hair, so I let her be. Then I decided I wanted to see my great grandparents, so I started running the other way until I got close to where I somehow knew they would be. Then I woke up. I still think about this dream ALL the time, even though it was 7-8 years ago. It felt so real, and nice. I was so happy. I told my mom about it and she said it was an OBE, but I'm not sure. Maybe it was just a good dream?

So what do you think, was it an astral projection?

1. Is it possible to bring someone with you when you astral project? My boyfriend is awfully skeptical about this, and I want him to see it for himself. How could I go about doing this?
2. Is it possible to go back in time when astral projecting? I was thinking last night it would be nice to see the 70's, and thought this might be the way to do it.
3. About 8 years ago, when I was 9, I used to subconsciously do this a lot. I haven't astral projected since then, at least that I can remember, and I wanted to know that since I'm still fairly young (17), would it be easier for me to get back into doing this? I once heard that when you're younger your ties with the 6th sense and all that more... intact? Is that true?
4. I'm pretty afraid of the dark. If I woke up in the morning when it was getting a bit light out, would I be able to do it then? I usually wake up a few hours before I actually have to get up in the morning, so that seems like a good time to me.

Thanks =)
