Greetings everyone,

I had an experience this past weekend and I wanted to get opinions on whether it was considered an Astral Projection. Before I explain the experience, I'll introduce myself briefly.

- My first time learning about Astral Projection was through a friend's essay in high school
- I've felt sleep paralysis (vibrations) on occasion before I knew of Astral Projection
- My first time I tried in high school, I heard screams from lower astral beings (on the brink from exiting), which scared me and put me off for a while
- From then on, sleep paralysis occurred more regularly against my will
- I've learned to control and induce sleep paralysis since (I'm in my final year of University now), but have not successfully left my body
- A renewed interest this year brought me back

As for my experience:
This past Sunday I attempted Astral Projection during the afternoon (2-3 pm time). I laid on my back for 10 minutes, but nothing happened. Eventually, I got sleepy and gave up. I turned to my left side, and attempted to sleep in a semi fetal position. That's when something odd happened. I was in the vibrational state, and a second later I seemed to be 1m to the left of my bed floating. My eyes were open, but it was cloudy and foggy on the edges (clearer in the centre). I could see my desk, door and bookshelf. I tried to "float" further away from my body to shake off the astral blindness, but I felt a pull back towards my bed. Then snap, I was back on my bed and I woke up (I think somebody made a loud noise in the house). I didn't see my own body as I was pointed the opposite direction, I attempted to roll around and look for myself. I don't know, but my body seemed slightly hard to control.

Could this have been a 30 second projection?
