Welcome to Metaphysics! / I've lost my mojo...
February 21, 2008, 19:15:06
I've lost my inspiration!  I haven't read cards, burned candles, meditated, had 'my dreams', nothing...in so long.  It's going on a year and a half now.  What's wrong with me?  I feel jaded, jaded, jaded.  I'm salty and sarcastic.  What happened?  Is this aging or has something else happened?

Have you ever lost your mojo? What made it come back?

Welcome to Dreams! / Hi guys, It's been a LONG time
February 16, 2007, 08:13:02
Hey guys!  I haven't visited in awhile.  But, I will be hanging around more. :-D

Recently, (this is going to sound weird)  I woke up to the sound of a growl. I sat up in bed and reached over, thinking my dog was having a bad dream (and about to bite me in his sleep  :-o).  You guessed it... No dog in my room at all.  I turned on the light, nothing there..  I was a little startled, not scared really.  But, It was strange.  I got out of bed and walked around looking for anything that would've made such a noise.  Nothing. I tried 'feeling' for a presence, but got nothing.

I've had a lot of interesting moments waking up in the dark.  (it's that half sleep/wake thing)  Why on earth would something just want to growl at me until I woke up, and then take off?  Maybe it was banking on a fear snack... (i know some of you will 'get' that lol) Well, too bad..so sad.. I'm too jaded for that. LOL

Let me know what you guys think!

Welcome to Magic! / Tarot Cards
August 12, 2005, 02:17:58
I am really very good with tarot cards and readings!

I have friends that call me and put their friends on the phone just so I can give them a reading, (which I sometimes refuse, just based on the individuals attitude)

I just want some insight as to how you guys feel about professional readings and weather or not you feel it's Psychically Ethical???  I know all the ethics of reading the cards.  Things you should and should not tell people....like when they will die or whatever..I say it that way because my cards never give me things like that.  Always, just whatever message needs to be given.

So, what do you think?? Readings for money??  It could really help people.. and I'm not a scammer.  It would be nice to do something for a living that I love, that helps people, and keeps me afloat.

What do you guys think????

I'm just so depressed.  The last week or so, I have just been sleeping, hardly eating, and not leaving the house.

I'm trying really hard to stay on track and just think positive.
I am so drained. I won't go into detail, but this is over work.  A man who has absolute power over my job has unjustly discredited me.  I thought Oh well I'll move on.  Then my boyfriend woke me up last night because I was punching the wall, grinding my teeth, and crying.  I was having a really bad nightmare about this guy.  I feel so humiliated and deflated.  I guess it has been harder on me than I was willing to let on.  I cried off and on all day today.

I'm trying so hard to will myself over this little bump.  I will accept any positive and healing energy anyone is willing to give.
Thanks-Monicat

Welcome to Writers Corner! / Help!
December 11, 2004, 02:28:22
Okay so my sister is pregnant...this excited and inspired me soooo much that I wrote a children's book based on she and her husband's life together and their new gift!  It's called "The Scholarly Fish and The Working Gull"

Anyway, I only write when I really really feel like it.  I hadn't written anything in awhile.

This is an amazing book.  I'm still surprised that I wrote it!

Soooo now what??  How do I get it published?  I need a step-by-step on this one!  What do I do? Who do I talk to?
Thanks!!!

I've suspected for a long time that my anxiety/panic disorder was something more than a medical issue.

A few weeks ago I woke up and my mouth said "I'm an empath."  I know that sounds a little strange, but that's exactly what happened.  I hadn't heard this term before, but I understood what it meant.

Upon doing some research, I found that my symptoms were very common amongst those with empathic ability.
The same symptoms exist within many types of psychosis.

So, needless to say...I'm a little confused.  I guess I want to know if I'm crazy or quite sane!  The line between the two, within the spiritual realm at least, seems thin at best.

Does anyone know what I mean by this?  Do you know of any resources that could help me?
I'm picking up on things all around me all the time...I have no filters and this makes me feel vulnerable and stressed.
I wish I knew more about this or knew someone who could help me with this.  I have no idea how to go about it.
Help!

Welcome to Dreams! / Psychic Dreams
March 16, 2004, 15:14:39
I'd like to know how you differentiate between real psychic dreams, and other random dreams.

Hi!  Have you thought about keeping a dream diary?  Perhaps by writing them down and analysing which ones seem to be significant you will be able to identify qualities of the dreams, (e.g. degree of lucidity, vividness of colours, disposition of dream characters etc.) that distinguish them from ordinary dreams?

For me I find that the closer I am to waking consciousness during a 'dream-like' experience the more likely it is to turn out to be significant in terms of subsequent real-world events.

Welcome to Dreams! / The Spider "Dream"
March 15, 2004, 07:46:39
They are simply spider entities that sometimes people can see but other times cant, it depends on the persons state of mind. Whether they exist in the Astral I dont know but they do exist on some level and when a persons perception increases, the 6th sense so to speak, can detect them. Children tend to be to the most likely people to see them.

Imo, "love under will" is simply a euphemism for arbitrary, self-willed anarchy! "'Do what thou wilt'" shall be the whole of the law."  Just as bad as despotism at the other end of the pole. No balance of personal rights with responsibilities to the greater good. "Self-will run riot," as the 12-step programs put it.

I agree with you in that it is an inversion of the proper order, "will directed by love." People fear to "lose" their "freedom," but in reality, the will always remains free, and the choice to submit the will to love is freely done and brings true joy and fulfillment to the soul.

I'd like to elaborate on my friend's post. I'm interested in this topic as well but I have'nt had any experiences with astral wildlife.  I myself am interested in hearing about any experiences people have had regarding this topic.  So any and all posts would be more than appreciated. Again I find this topic in particular highly interesting.
