Its depressing to know that the US Govt. are trying to brainwash society as a whole in the style of George Orwell's 1984.
This is a very eye opening discussion of one couple's direct experiences the CIA and their mind control programme.

Slightly disturbing about the use of harmonic frequencies to programme people's brain's. Robert Monroe used similar technology to induce different states of consciousness, so its all related.

Hi guys! I'm back after a long stint of getting bogged down in the mundane realities of life on earth.
I am getting a bit confused and hope someone can shed some light on my question.

Assuming as many of us know that we can access the astral planes once skilful enough. And that we chose to be born and live a life on earth to learn and experience what life has to offer...

Then why have we been designed by our creator to be given the ability to leave the physical plane and explore the astral planes and essentially our real "home"?

If we chose to come to Earth, then shouldn't we just focus on life here and work on that? If I were to become obsessed with exploring the astral, then I would be wasting my time here on Earth? After we die, we can travel the astral planes for as long as we want, so why do it now when I'm supposed to be living a life on Earth?

So my question is... is experiencing life supposed to be just about life on earth, or for the enlightened bunch of us who can leave this plane, does life also include life on the astral planes?

Does anyone feel the same? Many of my friends live their lives in ignorance of the astral planes, but sometime I feel like an observer here on Earth and I'm not as motivated to achieve material wealth etc.
Being able to project and knowing that there is much more to life than just on Earth makes my life somewhat more complicated.

Any views please?

I did an OBE in real time zone in my room. The whole experience lasted about 2 minutes. I still feel a slight tingling sensation and I feel light headed.

I could feel my astral body swaying as it had loosened up. I used the roll over technique this time. Pulled one shoulder over and lay on my side then rolled off my bed and onto the floor, then felt myself stand up. The rollover exit was extremely smooth and easy! I don't recall hearing any astral noise, it was a very silent process. I willed myself to open my eyes and I could see in my room, it was 5:30am with not much light visibility. I could see myself sleeping in bed and my room which was dark. This is the first time I have seen myself still sleeping!

This time it wasn't a floating point of consciousness as I have experienced in the past. I could sense my astral form had a normal body. I could perceive height and standing up. (Perhaps when you use the rollout technique, this makes you aware of your astral form? but usually when I have exited in other ways, I am just a floating point).

I asked for light and tried to brighten the place up, but I couldn't make the room lighter. (Perhaps because it was in the real time zone rather than astral planes?).

I have always wanted to see one of my close friends who lives in Canada whom I have a very special soul connection with. I told myself I wanted to see her. But nothing happened. I closed my eyes and thought of her, reopened but was still in my room.

I heard a voice, I believe I was speaking to my own subconscious (this was probably the split mind effect), it said "location?" after I said I wanted to see Jessica. After I closed my eyes to think of Jessica, I felt some movement, but when I reopened I was still in my room. It told me I didn't know the location apart from Canada and that it was not specific enough. I replied thinking "It is possible, the astral realms hold all the information". But it didn't work.

I then looked back at my body and I could see myself kind of tilting at an angle (20 degrees from vertical) almost standing up floating above my bed and shaking like it was in a fit. (I think this is some weird time lag and perspective of seeing my own astral body). This was a freaky sight and slightly disturbing.

I remember kind of touching that astral body above my bed and I felt what could be described as a static shock. I think it might have turned into a dream at this point, I woke up shortly, not much difficulty with memory download, but a lot of the fine detail was lost.

It was a shame it was so dark in the room as this contributed to some disorientation and perhaps fear. If it was brighter, I'm sure I can sustain a longer projection next time. I look forwards to it!

6:35am

Finally converted a lucid dream into a projection by passing through a mirror.

I am experiencing slightly cold sensations as I write this. My brain is hurting as if it is dehydrated, similar to a hang over feeling. I also had this feeling before the experience so it may be a precursor to these experiences. I had this sensation the last time I successfully projected too. Having this dehydrated brain feeling is becoming strongly associated with successful astral experiences. I can remember the experience clearly without the need to lie in my bed downloading the information and working backwards from end to start.

I was living a year of life back in university in Bath, it was freshers day. I was strongly semi lucid and knew I had the power to relive that same day and continue to live the same year if I wanted to all over again, just like in the film Groundhog day. I dreamed out the whole day again and did different things like act very confidently even in a cocky manner because I knew exactly what would happen and when. I leave out the details of this lucid dream but it seemed to last for hours, I relived almost 2 days of a lucid dreamworld, it was incredible! It is the longest lucid dream I have ever had and a good example of how time is distorted and lengthened in the lucid world. At the time, I kind of realized it was a lucid dream but I also thought it was real and that I had the power to time travel. I knew I could wake up at anytime but the dream just carried on and on to my surprise!

Then I became 100% lucid while I was looking at myself in a mirror in my own room. It kept steaming up and becoming unclear, I kept rubbing the mirror to clean it. I could see my face in extreme detail, most of the time it looked exactly like me, I found I could change my features very subtlety, I was trying to make myself very handsome and it was working. My features became more defined and beautified, it was amazing considering all this is the result of my own mind power. When I looked closely, my ear was distorted and even hurt a bit. My face began distorting into a ugly face and the mirror still kept steaming up. I had to keep focusing to see myself clearly. I did this for almost a whole minute.

Then I remembered the things I have learnt about reflective surfaces being portals to the astral world. So I kept focusing on moving into it and then suddenly I switched into out of body mode instantly and I was floating up near the top of a different room looking at a different much larger mirror but like still within a 100% lucid environment (It could also have been an astral realm I am not sure). I floated there for about 30 seconds trying to take everything in. I just hung there, usually in lucid dreams, the concept of gravity makes me fall down slowly and takes mental effort to stay airborne. Everything was SOOO vivid. I could not see my body, I was like a floating point. But it wasn't real time as such, the room and surroundings were kind of old style, I cannot recall any specifics but there were other items in the room. There was lots of random astral noise, like I was picking up different radio signals, very clear voices talking about random stuff. I heard a name, something gaynor, but too random stuff to remember anything.

I decided to take the plunge and went into the mirror, it took me a few attempts as I had to float into the mirror and I kind of crossed through the barrier a few times, experiencing a strong dimensional change as I passed my head through, very strange sensations in my head. Then I was through completely. I was floating as though in real time zone in my sister's room. I could hear my parents coming back home from something and making noise downstairs, I really wanted to float out of the room into the hallway to see them and verify things. I was floating a bit aimlessly but kind of managed to control myself by waving my hand forwards as if I was swimming underwater (this was probably a mental technique with the arm), as I edged myself towards the door, I knew I had to pass through it, I wasn't scared so I tried it, but as I tried passing through the door, I lost the projection. This projection lasted about 20 seconds. On waking, I realized that it wasn't "real time" as my parents were sleeping in bed. It was as though I had travelled back in time to last night when they came back home

There was no false awakenings and no memory download, this must be due to the different mechanics as most of it was a lucid conversion. This is a breakthrough for me and I am becoming more accustomed to the floating point perspective which I now relate to projections as opposed to lucid dreams.

Hi! Would be interesting to see generally how people's occupations match with their spiritual attitudes. Do you expect most people who can astral project to be arty type people or logical people?

As for me, I grew up wanting to be a scientist, did engineering at Uni, now doing my chartered accountancy qualification with KPMG. I'm 25 years old.

I basically live a double life. One side of me focuses on business/finance issues but outside of work, I am far more interested in new age spiritual stuff. Weird combo eh?...

Hello friends! I aim to use this excellent board as a kind of diary for my astral experiences where I can get guidance from more knowledgeable posters here or for people to comment to give me tips or advice. I will log my experiences in the appropriate sections of the boards.

26/7/05

It was around 4-5am in the morning. The dream I was in before was a long one. It was essentially about my dad redecorating the house. He redid my room and I was really ticked off as he had converted my whole side wall into a big glass window where people could look in. I felt this was a complete violation of my privacy and I was furious! My room was also full of hundreds of small statue figures and hundreds of other different small items. There was barely any space in my room to even walk.  I was so upset I trashed the room and told him off. After he left, I went to sleep (in my dream!).

From here onwards, there came a point where I felt my mind awaken and I was in that sleeping state where I can feel those energy sensations which are tempting me to project. At this point, my mind was fully conscious and body asleep. I concentrated for a few minutes manipulating my energy trying to raise it. Maybe because I read this recently, but I concentrated on the mantra "ommmm...." in my mind whilst focusing on my third eye. I felt all these new sensations in my head, very weird ones which I can't quite remember. Then I was rising up and then out, there was definite separation this time in the real-time! However, I must have jumped straight to the astral planes or back into a dream. Right after separation, I could not see anything. Slowly but surely, a VERY vividly clear blue financial interactive data screen appeared, this was all I could see. I could see all this financial data from stock market and a clear female voice telling me instructions. It was like a futuristic interface like a game where there were buttons to talk to clients and set up meetings etc. It was like a future investment bank role. (I have a suspicion this must have been a lucid dream by now). I was concentrating trying to make sense of this when I felt the presence of an entity in the room.

It was distracting me as though someone had opened my room door and come in. And that I was on the brink of losing my focus of the projection. I turned towards to entity a little ticked off and it started harassing me in an uncomfortably kind of energy scaring way. Its appearance was that of different changing faces, of ugly men. I punched and kicked it in a distressed manner. I was feeling extremely emotional and vulnerable at this stage.

Then I thought, this could actually be my dad. I was thinking quite clearly (in one way or another) and questioned the entity if it was my dad. He replied, yes I am. Then the illusion stopped and I could see my dad in place of the horrible entity. I "effectively" woke up in my dream at this point. I was really angry with my dad for interrupting my projection, but I told him "I FINALLY projected out of my body!", "Don't ever come into my room when I'm projecting! Its dangerous!" It was very emotional. I told him that things get distorted in a projection. He said how did you know it was me? And I explained because I was thinking logically during the experience to remember that things get distorted. But I was happy too that he woke me up and that I could still remember the experience as it was a short one (Most beginners won't remember long ones). Then I leapt to my computer to jot it down. After writing for a while, I actually woke up properly!! And then I jotted down my experience (for seemingly the 2nd time). Dreams within dreams and false awakenings are a sure sign of 3rd eye activity.

Its 5:20am. I definitely knew something amazing had happened and I lay there for 2 minutes gathering my thoughts downloading the info into my brain working in backwards chronological order. I still feel quite cold with strong feelings of after-effects of a projection. I feel tingling energy all over and quite chilled to the bone. I am breathing quickly and my heart rate is fairly rapid.

Although this experience was quite nightmarish and emotional/stressful, it will not deter me from continuing...

I used to follow a Tai Chi Master but I was much younger then and didn't appreciate the importance of energy "chi". He could do amazing things to his students such as put them into spasms or lose control simply by touching them. In hindsight, it would appear that he was disrupting their energy flows by injecting his own energy (much more powerful) into them.

Does anybody also practise Tai Chi and could elaborate on the amazing feats performed using chi?

I'm sure most yoga practitioners would not be experienced enough to feel the physical energy flows, but would be good to hear from anyone who has...

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I have lately been practising Robert Bruce's NEW energy raising techniques. Since it is possible to activate your own chakras and raise energy using your own body awareness and tactile imaging techniques, is it possible to activate somebody else's chakras just by concentrating your awareness on their chakras?

For example, would I be able to activate my girlfriend's root chakra and make her feel horny/energised by my own concentration?

Is it possible to for example work on energy centres of say a person sitting opposite you on a bus for them to feel something? (Even though I know this would be practically impossible to prove! lol)

Thanks for answering my noob queries, I'm learning fast though!

I used to lucid dream a lot and even had a few astral projections. Recently, I have been getting back into the swing of things and really want to master astral projection.

I decided to go back to basics and learn about energetics / chakra points / raising energy etc. I have been using Robert Bruce's NEW energy techniques of tactile imaging.

I am a beginner at energetics although I have experienced energy buzzing etc through astral projection. Last night I was raising energy through the soles of my feet, and pulling it up my legs and into my sub naval chakra. I must have misjudged as part way through the night, my groin area was feeling REALLY good! I realised that I had activated and energised my root chakra by accident! This being the first time I experienced it, I thought oh well, and continued raising energy to this area. It felt like an intense swirling constant pulsation of sexual energy in my crotch (I am a guy), which was very pleasant to say the least. Enough to attract a succubus I thought at one point (I should be so lucky). Joking aside, I decided to sleep because I had barely had any sleep and was working early that morning.

I ended up having sexually orientated dreams and experienced a very intense wet dream! I have not had a proper wet dream for over 10 years so I immediately paid attention to my breakthrough in successfully raising energy using tactile imaging. I guess tantric sex involves redirecting that sexual energy up the other 6 chakra points for a full body experience. Something which will take months of training but something I am willing to take the time to do.

Does anybody ever do what I did for sexual pleasure? Has anyone experienced anything similar? I would love to hear about your experiences.

I will be posting more in the future as I have plenty to discuss! Thanks!

Hasn't ANYBODY ever asked this question to themselves b4!??

Although I can not confirm that I have "talked" to an entity in my dreams or in other states, I have had some interesting encounters.  I am also very analytical of my dreams as well, just ask around.

From what I have experienced there is a definate differeance between certain entities or types of ecounters in dreams.

For instance in one dream I know, in this case, that bastard Brad Pitt was only a representation of my own worries that after gaining some thing that I have sought after for so long that I would end up messing it up and preventing myself from getting it.  In this particular dream the emotional context was there but it was limited in all areas, deliverance, responce, and feeling.  But there was an understanding that this was not really Brad Pitt but just a face to match a quality that I seek.

But in another dream there was a singular little girl who's voice, face, and eyes carried in them an immesurable amount of strong emotional content.  She was innocent, pure, but very wise, well beyond her years, and her strength poured off of her and filled the space we were in.  I could do nothing but be touched by it, the only defense was to surrender and to see her for what she was.

So yes I would wager that at times we are talking to our selves and at other times some one is actually listening.

That's how I had my first oobe 2 days ago.  I was trying to ap but gave up and just wanted to go to sleep but I kept on getting those sensations when i didn't want them.  Then I floated a foot above myself but all I could move was my astral left arm which I touched my face with.  Then I had to grab onto the rail of my bed to stop from floating higher and I just stared at the ceiling while trying to move, the same sensations also usually happen when I'm having sleep paralysis but it never lead to an ap before.

Do we really EACH have our own guardian angel? I mean do they really guard us or what? Whats there to guard? I wish i could project... I wonder what their true purpose is... OOOOO ROOOBEEERT!
