Hi,

From literature, I found that many, if not the most, OBE experts have OBEs since childhood, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Ah yes, the same-old, same-old prob I always encountered. From what I understand, the breathing comes as as result of your energy body (chakras) attempting to draw energy into the centers (to prepare for projection). With the heart chakra, the increased heart rate occurs, and with (I think it's the soloplexus), the hyperventillation act originates.

If there is one thing about my personal experiences I can tell, it's that over time, the breathing problem becomes less of a predicament experienced. I recall reading about how it entirely correlates with the gradual development of one's own chakra system. The situation is no less comparable to cramps any person would get from lack of exercise. You merely have to work at it. Exercise those chakras <=D !!

This in itself means you are not ready to Oobe. I myself am not, simply because I have cannot developed a sufficient mind-body state yet, and because my focus needs working on. Brainwave generator is a wonderful aid (as are hemi-sync mp3s) for bodily relaxation. It's been a month or two since I started putting myself through this treatment and now my body can relax itself pretty well in half the time it used to take me (say, about 15 minutes to half an hour versus the 40 minutes it used to take me).

As for inducing trance, I still cannot do that for some reason. I've come across tips and tricks, do's and do nots that might be of some use, but ultimately, I'm still trying to work at that.
