Hi All,

I was wondering if there's a technique or way to get to the void/3d blackness through meditation or is it just sometime you end up in that state?
Or maybe there is a technique that makes it more likely to end up there?

I have only been in that state once with the use of Hemisync and I blacked out and wake up in that state.

It seems that the way people experience this state is comparable.

Thanks for your time.

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Name given?
March 01, 2015, 08:08:05
Hi All,

This morning, just after waking up after a long dream, a name, unknown to me, emerged  in my mind. The name was "Dutil Fram" and I can't remember to have heard about it before, but when I checked the meaning if the name on Google, it does fit the description of myself almost perfectly  :-o
Hvad does this experience/message mean?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm trying to make the right, caring and loving decisions every day in as many situations as possible. Can it be true that it also gives a pretty strong emotional feedback, so that you feel a good loving feeling inside?

I went to an examination at the hospital, and didn't eat for 24 hours before the examination, and after the examination I did the noticing exercise and viewed some super sharp images in my mind.
Anybody knows if diet has an impact on the quality of meditation experiences (sharpness and other things)?

Thanks

In my relatively short experience period with meditation of about 10 months, I noticed that there is periods of maybe some weeks where my meditation experiences seems boring with no imagery or dream "video" or really anything other than a feeling of be in a altered state. Is that normal? - also periods of bad health or mutch workload stress seems to kill the meditation experience...

I have practicing the noticing meditation exercise and also mantra meditation, and I have experienced the following under different sessions:

- Suddenly a quick shift and I'm standing up and I'm clapping a big tree and hear the clapping sound clearly (Thats something I would do, because I like big trees :-D). It gives me instantly a chock so I'm thrown back to meditating.
- Suddenly a quick shift and I'm carrying somebody over my shoulder which gives a chock as above and I'm back meditating.
- I'm starting seeing an environment, but I'm not immersed into it but more like observing from above (a moving camera/observer), because it plays forward like a dream

How do I get rid of the shock that blasts med back?
What's about this observing state?

Thanks for your time.

Today I used Xanths/Franks noticing type of meditation, and after about a ½ hour I felt my breathing getting very heavy like my lungs where made of iron, giving me the feeling of having hard to breed - probably a illusion.
My question: Is this is a sign that I'm entering sleep paralysis? - I haven't been in SP before.

I have now been meditating daily for about 8 months with a few exceptions because of a life with small kids.
I don't get the strange sensations as in the start anymore. I use a mantra to meditate and mostly after about 15-20 minutes I feel a slight shift away from this reality (sensory input feels a less significant).
I believe this is the mind awake body asleep state or focus 10? - also when I stay in this state for a while it refreshes my energy better than a nap.

While in this state I sometimes see a short video sequence of something random like about 2 seconds. I have found that if I log on to this in a kind of soft and not to forcefull way I can prolong it, and it feels at the same time, that I slip away from this reality very fast.
Is this a way to conscious project?

Thanks for your time.

This morning I used the WBTB method to induce a lucid dream together with a affirmation "I am aware in my dreams" before drifting off to sleep again.
I then had a lucid dream where I was walking from one end of the house down the hallway into the living room and in the middle of the living room I began floating instead of walking and went into a wall, but didn't end up in the room behind the wall but instead in the room where I was sleeping, and after some time unable to move I woke up.
The point here is that my wife is late in a complicated pregnancy and is therefore sleeping in another room close to the living room. She was awake when I had this experience and told me afterwards, that she heard footsteps in the living room at the same time of my experience. She said she thought that I was coming to light up the fireplace, which I do in the morning.
She heard the footsteps in the same pace as i remember me walking and also stopping well into the room (like I remembered starting flying).
And this is not the first time she heard footsteps. There was also another morning where I had a lucid dream in the living room, where she heard footsteps.

Could this be a validation that you're out of body or like a "ghost" in the physical?
Anyone has experiences like this or can explain why footsteps can be heard?

BTW: I can really recommend WBTB for beginners, who are not feeling they make progress. It can give you some quick experiences that will keep you motivated.

I understand that meditation is one of the most important tools for growing the quality of your consciousness, so I meditate 1-2 times per day for about 15-45 minutes.
Also, as I have free will, I try to make the right decisions in every situation all day long - the decisions that I think is right and that is not focused on my own needs, but rather others/shared needs and whats good for the whole.
But one thing is to make the right decision, because you know it's right and you feel you have to. Another thing is to do it because you really want to (with heart and soul).
I guess the first one dosen't get you closer to love and to grow the quality of your consciousness, so how do you practice to make the right decisions because you really want? - I would like to hear some opinions because I think this is the hard part (especially if you're tired)

Is there other things besides meditation and everyday decisions, that you can do in order to grow the quality of your consciousness?

I have now had my first aware experience - short but aware
I wanted to sleep a little longer after a full nights sleep, and as I was falling aspleep I said to myself that "I'm aware in my dreams"
Then I found myself walking down the corridor away from my bedroom, and I stopped and looked down the corridor with a strange feeling, because I did not remember getting out of bed.
I looked at the other end of the corridor thinking something was not right, and it felt like the corridor was a little different than normal. Then I remember thinking "Can this be...". And I reached out for the wall, and my hand went into the wall, and I could feel some tickle sensation on the hand.
Then I decided to go through the wall, and as I entered the wall I suddenly couldn't move, and a moment later I found myself back in my body in trance.
The whole experience lastet about 10-15 seconds.

I know this is a little step but still progress...

Tom Campbell talks about other realities that feels just as physical as this one, but he does not share much information.
I think this is a very exciting topic. So does anyone have experience with physical like realities that they want to share?

This night I had a dream that included all the things that I have been thinking about doing if I AP.

-It started with that I felt that I was waking up but then the that I was in was foggy/misty like and I was floating up.
-So I remembered me thinking now it's happening, so now I want to do all the things I have been thinking of doing.
-I floated around in the house for a while until I came to a room where my wife apperantly was sleeping.
-I remember that I would not wake her or could not, so I decided to float through the window to the garden.
-In the garden I tried to fly, I also increased my flying speed with commands like double speed.
-I also used commands clarity now witch worked very well, since everything got clearer.
-I tried to think of another place in the real world many times to teleport to it but I could not.
-I also noticed that the neighbor's house was floating and was strange looking.
-Lastly I went back to the room where my wife was sleeping and I remember that I made her move.
-Then I remember waking up but then I was sitting beside my wife in the room where she was sleeping in the dream.
-Then I did wake up for real in my own bed

The reason why I label this as a dream is the following:
-It took place in my parents house.
-My wife and I was not sleeping in my parents house as in the dream, but in our own house.
-I didn't have full awareness at any time. The reason I say that is that I had no fear and no thought of 'where am I really'. It just flowed forward with no worry.
-Also from the AP/OOBE I had as a child I know that you can have full awareness in these experiences.

OK, maybe I'm analyzing too much...
But is this a AP/OOBE with low lewel of awareness or a lucid dream or is there really no distinction?

Thanks!

I have focused my effort on getting better to meditation for the last 2 months because I like slow progress where I get comfortable with any new experiences.
I meditate and also use Hemisync a little. I do not focus on AP just meditation and the experiences I get. Recently I have had the following new experiences:

-In each meditation my body twitch/jerk for ½ second very suddenly.
-I see white light in front of my 3'rd eye when in deep meditation, like some state change is coming
-I feel my hands and head start to vibrate.
-I see faces and monsters and hand coming out of nothing when in deep meditation. One time the monster only slowly faded away when I wake up from deep meditation state.

These are completely different sensations compared to the ones I had when I started meditate and the sensations I had then are not coming anymore.
Can anyone give me feedback on this?

As I go through a lot of material on astral projection I can understand that many experienced practitioners are able to recall a trance state, like the "floating" feeling that I have experienced myself, and then obtain it again in seconds.
Is that something that comes with time and meditation practice or can it be learned by beginners? and if so, how to do it?

Thanks for your time!

I have a hard time getting deep enough into "Focus 10/mind awake body asleep" state. I mostly can get to a point where my legs and arms feels very paralysed and extremely heavy.
But then I can use a lot of time not getting any deeper.

I can recognize the truth in this tekst from the "Focus 10/mind awake body" article in this forum:

I suspect that most will be able to reach these early markers of focus 10 (including the mild sensory reduction in the cutaneous senses) in a fairly consistent manner with relative ease in the course of, let's say, anything ranging from one to twenty hours of practice. Hence, when you read reports on the focus 10 state, these preliminary markers are most frequently mentioned. However, you are only at the beginning of a full-fledged focus 10 state at this stage, and the subsequent stages tend to require a lot more practice.
In fact, I can't overemphasize the following enough:
Each time you think you can't possibly go deeper into the focus 10 state, and yet you continue your practice, you will be proven wrong over and over again.

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_permanent_astral_topics/focus_10_mind_awakebody_asleep-t24783.0.html

I believe that I can easily reach the "early markers". But I have a hard time getting further.

And I can see that many beginners in this forum have a hard time getting deep enough into "Focus 10/mind awake body asleep".

It would be nice to hear suggestions (practices, techniques and methods to get deep into "Focus 10/mind awake body asleep") from the more experienced members and maybe several suggestions, so as many as possible would benefit from it, because something may work for one and not another.

Many thanks for your help.

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and so I would like to share my experiences, and I also have some questions.

This morning I was dreaming, and from the dream I remember lastly that I had my travelling papers and tickets on a table in a lobby, and now they where
stolen. Just after that I found myself staring up at the wooden ceiling in the room I (was actually) sleeping, but I also remember, that I didn't understand why I was in my room.
I think that my mind was still dreaming, thinking that I should be somewhere else.
Then I realized that I had a buzzling sound in my head like the sound of the wings of a hummingbird, and very intense.
Question: Is that the sound of the vibratory state?
I also heard distant sounds, that I can best describe as being in a hall with sounds coming far away, maybe like distant prayer sounds or people, or some machines but not really that
maybe more like a disorted version of that.
Question: Could that be the sounds of the Astral?
As I had realized that I probably was in the vibratory state then I tried to separate, as my body was like paralyzed. I tried several times to get my head up and out, but I couldn't
- I guess it's hard to do it with eyes open and looking, as I was :-D. After trying for a minute, I felt a shift in awareness and I was awake.
I like to add to this, that last night I have used affirmations like "I become aware in my dream". Normally I never use such affirmations, because I like to be able to project from trance.

I'm trying to follow Steve G. Jones program, and I'm trying self hypnosis. I have currently reached a state of the feeling of floating a couple of times. And I also have flickering eyes some times. I'm using hypnosis because I want to be aware all the way.
Question: Do anyone know these state, and do I have to go deeper before trying to project?

I have become interested in the subject, because of some experiences I had when I was a kid. I remember several times being in a state where I would see
something that I can best describe as a growing mass of these oval flamingo pellets that you pack fragile stuff with.

But one experience stands out where I walked around my parents house for maybe 10 minutes fully conscious. But it was like I was drunk or seasick finding it hard to walk straight. I also remember being
so unstable that I would flip around with my head down for a moment. Also everything was greyish, and I remember being unable to open a door and unable to wake up my parents even though I was crying or try to make noise at the end of their bed.
Question: Does this sound like the astral?

So that's a little about my experiences so far.

Thanks to anyone that will answer my questions.
