"Seriousness is simply a sickness of the soul, but sincerity is altogether a different phenomenon."  - OSHO

Serious people cannot laugh, cannot play, and cannot dance. Seriousness is a disease that gives rise to repression and hence the serious person is always controlling himself, and becomes a jailer to himself.

On the other hand, the sincere person can rejoice, can laugh sincerely, and can dance sincerely.

In laughter your body joins, your mind joins, and your being joins. Ultimately the divisions disappear, and the schizophrenic personality also disappears.

Laughter is rejuvenation for it brings your energy back to you.

In modern day society precedence has been given to seriousness. This seriousness isn't real, it's more of society's version of "do not express yourself and be human". It is a conditioning, and it is also repression. For people have become so used to being stone cold and rigid that they have become afraid of life, of living, of total expression and love.

The Serious Trap is a herd mentality in which the overall sentiment is that we should do our best to not look like idiots. Unfortunately this is the same conditioning from childhood in which our parents and teachers have been conditioning us to do what were told.

In the wise words of OSHO - creativity has been the greatest rebellion in existence. To be creative is to take full reins of your humanity and to not give it up for the institutions that want to keep you shackled into a machine, where ultimately you are a number in "the herd".

To quote OSHO:

"Your creativity brings freedom, strength, intelligence and consciousness.

We need a great respect for creative people of any dimension.

And we should learn how to transform our energies so that they are not repressed, so that they are expressed in your love, in your laughter, in your joy."

As with anything in life, we must first be it in the mind and body before in our outer world.

The power of visualization has been used for centuries. In fact, the greatest teachers throughout history have referred to visualization.

You can visualize yourself to greater health! And it's not as complex as you may think.

Like it or not we are all already visualizing. The internal pictures, sounds, and internal movies you make on a day to day basis are shaping your present and future reality.

If you want to create a much more rewarding, expansive, and successful reality you have to see yourself being there NOW.

Visualization is but one of many techniques you can use to propel yourself to a healthier, brighter, and happier YOU.

Have you been using visualization lately?  :-)

Everything vibrates at its core fundamental level. If you were to take a microscope and put it to a rotting log of wood or the gravel on a race track, you will see that there is vibration. Nothing is completely solid.

This bit of information is revolutionary, because that means that nothing in existence stands still. Vibration occurs throughout nature. And YOU are part of nature. This means that whatever frequency you vibrate at is what you are going to get back in life. In essence, the world is your mirror. Improve the frequency at which you vibrate and you will get THAT in life.

What are ways in which you can become more Vibrant?

Meditation, Exercise, Good Nutrition, Success Programming, and Visualization are all great ways to increase your vibration and align yourself with what you WANT in life.

Which techniques have YOU been using?  :-)

If you have been on a personal development path for years; especially doing meditation and conscious building exercises, you know how sensitive you are to feeling and "picking up" on energies in people and places.

What I want to touch on is negative energy in the home. I have recently undergone a cleansing of negative energy in my house.

This brings me to an important question:

What are the most effective ways in which you have cleared negative energies from your home, and what surprising results do you believe this has given to you in your day to day life?

Thanks.   :-)

"Present fears are less than horrible imaginings." - William Shakespeare

Shakespeare's words ring true.  It is horrible imaginings that are the obstacle, not what it is we are going to achieve. To focus on any goal you have to focus on what you want not on what you don't want. The simple reason being is that your brain can't distinguish between fiction or reality. That means whatever you feed your mind; or focus on, becomes your reality. In short, your focus is your reality. Those people that imagine themselves succeeding often become big successes. They are utterly convinced and determined to create a life that is joyful and filled with beautiful experiences.

Many people become very logical in that they believe being incredibly optimistic to the point of being delusional is somehow ignorant, because you are "ignoring reality". I'm going to be the first one to burst that bubble and say that you CREATE your reality. So why not create a reality in which you're happy, healthy, and prosperous?

In this modern era- there is one silent killer that brings about more dis-ease, death, and dsyfunction than anything else- and no it is not Chuck Norris. This something is called stress. In fact, there are two types of stress; distress, and eustress. Of course you have experienced the type of stress where you are overcome with anticipation and excitement. This is called eustress; as implied in the prefix of the word- meaning euphoria. Eustress is good for you. However, in this post I am going to be discussing distress. Distress can be highly damaging if not dealt with effectively. While elimination of stress is unrealistic, management of it is attainable and realistic. Ways in which you can begin your new path toward stress reduction have been outlined below.

1.) Exercise:  Possibly one of the most important forms of stress reduction and overall ways to promote longevity, good health, and liveliness. Exercise is a highly effective method in eliminating stress because it simultaneously manages emotional stress and tension. Exercise also aids in relaxation and improves sleep.

2.) Manage Your Time: Especially in today's world, the number one thing that people claim to need more of is time. However, if you look at their lives closely most people tend to waste time or put it to other things rather than what they prioritize in life. Thus, managing your time is one of the greatest ways to reduce stress, and ironically it also gives you more of it.

3.)Breathe Deep:  Start breathing deep! This can be done as a daily exercise and before a stressful event. When you have a few minutes, try a relaxation technique either using visualization or meditation. Look into exercises that specifically focus on breath such as yoga, bioenergetics or meditation.

As you can see, stress reduction does not have to be something that takes time from your day or slows you down. By using these techniques; or ones similar, you can add productivity, time, and energy to your life.

What you want is not beyond your reach. You can have what you want at any time in your life. Think of success as a recipe that you can make in the kitchen. Success isn't a matter of being in the right place at the right time, or having the right connections, or being born on the right side of the tracks. Just like a well made dish, success is achieved when we follow the right formula and the right steps. If we want success there are seven incredibly powerful tips we can follow to get what we want.

Here are 7 steps I believe will enable you to achieve your goals this day, month, and year:

1.) Focus on what you want- Visualize the end result of what you want to achieve.

2.) Belief- For whatever you want in life your going to have to believe that you can achieve it. Belief means that we have the ability to get to where we want in life. Have the desire and believe whole-heartedly!
3.) Commit- There are two people out there. Those who are interested in success and those who are committed. If you want to succeed be committed whole-heartedly and watch success come your way.
4.) Take inspired action- Take action everyday that makes you feel good!
5.) Appreciate the evidence- Thank the universe for your greatness and the great things that are coming into your life. Always be thankful for any signs of the beautiful things manifesting in your life!
6.) Feel good – Feeling positive energy at all times is what brings more positive things. Feel good and enjoy a 'feel good' life!
7.) Release attachment- Let go of any struggle and be in the flow of life.

These are the 7 steps to getting what you want in life. Follow these steps and be on your way to building the life of your dreams!

There are 2 powerful ways to break the procrastination cycle. The first way is to get organized. Make a list! This tactic to eliminating procrastination may sound ridiculous and overrated but it is one of the most effective. What you want to do is start out by getting an organizer or a large notebook and make lists and plans for yourself to stick to, and prioritize everything on your list in order of importance. You also want to allocate times for tasks to be done; for example, 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.  The overall key to battling procrastination is organization.  ORGANIZATION IS KEY! By organizing yourself you have enough time to do everything and get everything done. Also, if a task is particularly big you can always split it up into manageable time slots, making sure that your progress is steady. Splitting a big task into easily digestible parts ensures that your not overwhelmed by giving yourself too much to do.

A second way to fight off procrastination is by giving yourself a 'reward time'. By applying a reward system to yourself you are giving yourself an incentive to get things done because you know once its done you can have a break and reward yourself for the hard work done.

These are 2 fail proof ways to battle procrastination for now and the future. Use them and start getting things done!

So here are 3 quick ways to change your limiting beliefs and convert them to empowering ones:

1.)   Read books, attend seminars, find people and places that support who you want to be; your ideal self.  In other words be clear on what you want to become and what you want to achieve and then start gathering resources and immersing yourself into these until you become that new image.
2.)   Start to watch your mind from an outside perspective.  When you notice yourself participating in that old limiting belief that you want to change, consciously and intentionally switch your attention to the new belief you want to attain.  For example, you can say to yourself "Here I am experiencing the belief 'no one will ever love me' "...and then ask yourself, "Now how can I focus on what I do want?"  Consciously and intentionally switch your thoughts to something that you want in that moment and start feeling that new belief...such as, 'I attract loving people into my life'.
3.)   Use belief boards, and be clear in what you want to achieve.  Belief boards are incredibly effective in attaining and rewiring old beliefs.   For example, if you have 10 college reports due on the same week because of procrastination you can start to change this pattern by making a belief board.  Type up a simple affirmation saying something along the lines of:   " I am extremely productive.    I get my college work done as soon as possible."       When I mean belief board, I simply mean typing these new beliefs that you want in a word document, and printing it out on paper...then taping it to a wall or tacking onto a bulletin board.  Experiment, see which ones work best, be curious and have fun with them!

These are a few simple ways to change the beliefs that don't serve you.  Of course there are other ways to do this, but these are a start.  And of course, a good way to get the best results is to start by examining what you believe like if you were interviewing yourself, and then write down your limiting beliefs and empowering beliefs to any and every area of life you want to work on.
