I've been wondering about putting together a cookbook for the odd APer.
I know that fresh veggies are supposed to help, along with fasting in some cases.

I don't know if anything will come from it, but I'd like to try and make it tasty and helpful... if possible.

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Lucid Dream
January 09, 2017, 15:14:47
A few of you probably recognize me asking for help.

Within the past few hours, I had a lucid dream, I knew I wasn't fully conscious, but I thought I was phazing.  I was in an old, primarily wooden house, so I was saying, "Clarity now!"  It wasn't doing anything, but I was trying.  There were people there at first, but I wasn't paying much attention to them, so I guess they disappeared.  All except for a guy with a strange head.  He had three different heads, during the dream.  I don't remember the first two, but I asked if he would show me the one I couldn't remember, and he then has a bird on a stump head.  We hugged, and then I woke up.  I was very excited and ran around checking stuff out, but while I could probably describe it all, nothing really stands out.

Then I woke up with intense whining in my ears, and an intense vibration slowly increasing in time with my breathing.  I tried twisting and turning and swimming and pulling on the futon bars, and asking for help, but vibration or not, I didn't phaze, and floating out, and eventually settled on letting it happen naturally.  Then I fell asleep.

I came here for help phasing.  While I have not yet achieved that goal, I have been looking into this and that.  I'm not really sure if this would be the place to post this, so I'm posting and hoping.

I live on the edge of Cook and DuPage, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in trying this out with me.  I unfortunately do not have a lot of friends who are interested in this sort of thing.

I won't put in any details at this time as such things are subject to change, and no one would likely show up if I did for quite some time, so I will stick with an exchange of details for a meet up.  I would prefer it if there were at least two or three people joining such a thing.  :3

Hiya.  It's been a while.  I have been diligent, and reading slow to take in better, but I have yet to project.  One thing I do nightly is write out, "I am having and Out of body experience" twenty times, and I am adding new routines to my days as I adjust to the old one.  Anyway, report done.  This is what I'm here to talk about.

I was watching Unsolved Mysteries a few weeks ago and there was some screwup with their machine.  The sound still played, but it was undulating.  Sort of: Woomp. Woomp. Woomp.  Anyway, before getting through the one episode, I was fighting to stay awake.  I recorded the next episode to watch after work and it was the same, and I was fighting to stay awake again.  I've heard about research on this, Hemi-Sync, right?  Like Rain drops, even though rain doesn't really cause me to fall asleep.  I was thinking of using the sound to play over a self-hypnosis CD, but I deleted the recording already.  But I was wondering if there is a resource available where I could listen to a few and find what would work really well for my purposes.

I'm trying to get myself into the habit of doing exercises everyday.  My summer was hectic so at this point I've grown out of touch with my exercises, so I'd like to ask what exercises are well favored, what references and books people look for and really anything worth saying.

Welcome to Dreams! / Reflection of Dreams

As my aim is to perform Astral Projection, this could probably be placed in Astral Projection, and that's really half of this topic.  I had a nightmare before I woke up this morning.  Speaking from the point of view of someone who has phased, when one has a nightmare, what is the reaction astrally speaking?

I know its a little confusing, and I'll try to think on a better way of asking, but for just interpret it as you see fit.  I just didn't want to forget my question by not writing, or mix up the meaning later before I don't understand my wording.

I've actually considered starting a blog to document my attempts.  Haven't tho.

I'm currently reading The Phase - A Practical Guidebook.  It details a varied method system which I have tried.  Usually, I fall asleep trying the methods or finish without feeling anything special.  Reading it, it might be a worthwhile book, but I think they give certain details in the wrong order.  For instance, it states early that you will have trouble if you move when you wake up or are too alert, and I just reached a point where it states that it really isn't problem, but most people think it is.

This all started a year and a half ago when I ordered a book by William Hewitt.  It gives exercises and example stories, some of which I've tried.  Haven't gotten through them all.  He touches on OBE, and I'm currently on the psychometry exercises.  I can generally tell color, but I'm not so hot with suits.  At the very beginning of practicing these exercises, I would get physically ill from them and would hold off the next, but that eventually stopped and I can go through the deck four times.  Once color, once suits, then other one more suits and varied or both varied.  Thinking on it, I eventually came to the conclusion that what I wanted was to perform OBE, and that was maybe a year ago now.

A little about myself:
So, reading through net resources, I read about hearing sounds like a sort of ringing, which is different than THAT ringing.  So I turned off my music and listened to the silence.  It was easy enough to Identify such a sound in the air.  Once I heard it, I found I was able to identify it even while listening to music, or during conversation if I really wanted to.  Or, it'll fade into the background until I listen for it again.  During one of my more recent attempts.  While I was waking up, I noticed images, not unlike movie reels, but whenever I'd try to focus on them, they'd go blank.
I haven't tried this yet, but at times, I'll wake up to music, that I should recognize, though I can never remember what it was after.  The phantom wiggling exercise I do.  Just at this time I can extend my hand from the keyboard and feel my fingers curling.  Not as intensely because I'm actually using my fingers actively.
I also perform an exercise, descending into the outlook overlooking a beach and rolling sea, mountain and forest.

Any advice would be appreciated, and please ask questions.
