Drink more Pepsi.  That oughta fix it  :)

Actually, it does.  Your body has yet to develop a natural tendency for the amount of caffeine you consume.  Me, I used to drink 5+ cans daily.  My record was 14 in 24 hours.  So now that I got used to drinking that much, I can drink like 3 cans a day (I've had two so far :p) and still get to bed by 10:30 (Although I try to stay up later, i cannot)

You don't have to try that, but it worked for meh.

Welcome to the Healing place! / Restoring Energy

Stimulants of some sort can cover up the symptoms. Pills, caffeinated drinks, physical activity, physical discomfort, mental activity like solving an interesting problem. Changing your breathing, posture, position, and other factors helps. Better lighting an ventilation can help. All you can do is cover it up at this point. After extensive training in meditation and energy work, sleep requirements can go down while your ability to cover up symptoms of lost sleep will improve.

It is natural for the quality and quantity of the sensations to change with practice. Even if the sensations go away completely at times, you will still be making progress.

Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Seminar

Psipog is a good site, but their attitudes suck and they always lack in explanation of theory. It takes me a bit of my own application of my own beliefs to really use those articles well, but hey go for it if you really want to.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / TK excercises
April 15, 2003, 05:57:22
Find any object and move it.  That's the only exercise.  If you can't move it - practice until you can or give up.  Meditating will make you more conscious.  This would help with TK.  But it is important to do what you want.

I don't think it is all experience.  Some people can do it really well, but not much else.  Some people can do other things, but not any TK.  Some people just suck at everything (ahem. ME?).  Some people are good at everything (You know who you are...)

So, it isn't ever just experience.  If i have alot of experience in Table Tennis, it doesn't particularly mean i am good at tennis (even though i am....)  Don't know if thats a good example...

You get what I'm saying?

Welcome to Dreams! / weird dream
April 14, 2003, 03:44:50
Sounds like a low level lucid dream. People say there are many levels of LDs, depending on your level of awareness. As long as you were able to recognize the dream, you were lucid. You'll probably have a lot of those kinds of dreams before an interesting one comes up. It takes a little practice building control and memory skills. Having nightmares is usually a good trigger for a ld. You say you've had that dream for a while? That's good. Tell yourself that the next time you have that dream/nightmare, you'll be lucid. Repeating it will make it stronger.

From what I've heard, if its possible at all it is very hard. I believe you have to go to the place you want to teleport to, and just concentrate on it. Perhaps it may be effective if you turned it into a magickal ritual?

problem is, if you are teleporting to somewhere in your house you will not know whether you've really done it or not, for as far as you are concerned you could have been sleepwalking and then just became concious there!

well, there have been a few topics "discussing" such things in the past (check the older posts). but the only thing that was really "decided" was that it doesn't matter: names are names. instead, go with what you know.

Reiki is good for that sort of thing, but four ibuprophen and a hot bath would be better.

Seeing them is unusual. It can result from years of practice. They are a convenient tool for learning to control and work with energy. They can be used for healing, but things like heating, cooling, shattering, or otherwise affecting plain matter take even longer than learning to see them. It is not really that ki balls have practical use any more than lifting weights has practical use. They are an exercise to build up your mental muscles.

Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Hello
April 08, 2003, 16:13:58
I can't comment on the files you looked at, the pictures and videos.

Learning to see auras will help you to see the energy between your hands when using energy. It takes time, both to be able to put more energy between your hands and to learn to see it. Systems like reiki can help you to save time, but it is better to find someone to teach you in person when possible. Even when you can get lessons at a distance over the internet it is still best to follow them by learning in person. NEW is another matter. You can find it on the web (http://www.astraldynamics.com) and in the book "Astral Dynamics". There are also many threads in the forums here dealing with aspects of NEW. Some threads about reiki, too.

Welcome to the forums.
