There are two things which you should do first. You must determine your goals and then you must count the assets that are available to meet those goals. Writing down both on paper in clear terms helps, regardless of what exactly your goals are. Then you can set a time frame, given both your goals and available tools. When the time frame you set is coming closer, you must evaluate how realistic your goals were. Either they were too much or too little and can be corrected. You need a way to recognize success when it occurs. For telekinesis in particular, it is your relationship with the object you are moving which must be considered.
