I was wondering how I would go about improving my connection to my minds-eye/imagination (besides visualisation exercises)? It is incredibly weak at the moment, and I know it's a valuable tool (and a fun one .....so yeah, any help would be appreciated.

Well, just like any parasite, they want to live, and your energy is lunch.  Try sensing around to see if they have "roots" running up through your nervous system.
