I found this on robertpeterson.org. This is a very valuable information for those feel the vibrations and dont know what to do next...

Okay, suppose you do your OBE exercise, and suppose it works. What happens?
Suddenly, you feel like you're electrocuted. There is a deafening roar in your ears. It sounds like your heart is pumping beyond capacity and is ready to explode. What do you do?
It's important to know exactly what to do when the vibrations hit you.
Stay calm, relaxed and focused. I know it's hard, like ignoring a slap in the face.
Very important: Don't panic and/or lose your cool. Just watch what happens.
The first time this happens, you're probably going to panic. It can be scary as hell. Try to convince yourself it's "No big deal."
Keep your mind as quiet as possible, and wait until the vibrations reach their peak.
When the vibrations reach their peak, try to move your body: Roll out, etc. If you're in the proper state, your physical body won't move. Only your astral body will. Your body should be in the grips of sleep paralysis. If your physical body does move, you weren't deep enough.

Hope This Helps...

Just don't visit my place, its a mess!

I haven't tried that but I have had flying dreams and there is something that you have said which struck a cord.  I have also noticed that during my flying dreams if I realise that I am flying, I seem to float back down.

Interesting.

Ahh yes, this reminds me of the days when I thought I was turning into a nut case. Talking to spirits, and then seeing myself yes I am a very bad christian[:D]

Well I haven't had quite the same kind of experience as that though, but I can see my physical body sometimes when projecting. it doesn't hurt like it does when robert does it but it still feels quite odd in more ways than simply the mental.

Now yours is intersting, being able to talk to different aspects of yourself. You should try to talk to your "subconscious" self more so that you can see the differences between him and your "conscious" self.

Hey Birm,

Welcome back man! If you are in peace with yourself, that counts.

Hi there Birm !

thanks for sharing that with us all. Unfortunately I don't have any experiences to add though.

Have you tried the same technique with other objects / people ?

I have enjoyed reading your posts. Just last night I tried your triangle method - it was a nice experience.

I think a break is good, once in a while, to focus on what really matters.

possibly a form of telepathy ? just a guess though.

Anyone else ?

I can only think it was because your body started to dream, tired of waiting for you to come back. Doesn't mean anything really. Now worries :-D

It may or may not have been an OBE.  One thing we must remind oursleves when we discuss these matters is that it really isn't a black and white question, ie. OBE or non-OBE.  As Bruce himself makes clear in Astral Dynamics, his book, there is a spectrum of continuum of what we might call OBE.  You may not have been out-of-body per se, but you may have been seeing into the astral/spiritual realm.

Welcome to Dreams! / Some Questions...
July 16, 2003, 06:37:56
Hey, welcome to the forums!

All of these questions only you can answer, but I can tell you about my perspective.

1. Lucid dreaming is not only about dream control. To be aware that you are dreaming while it is happening gives you the opportunity to explore a world of possibilities, and to have a direct communication with your subconscious mind. It may help you overcome fears by learning how to deal with the situations that the dream presents you, and that would probably help you in your daily life.

What lucidity really gives you is control of your own thoughts and actions, and doesn't let you be subjugated by the images.

2. Your mind is there, your body is asleep.

3. Does that make any difference?

4. It may be that the place exists, but it's best to be cautious and always question what you see.
