Okay gang,
My first post was on Oct 13. As I stated, I'm fairly familiar with the trance state, and phasing comes pretty natural to me. I've been practicing phasing now at least twice a day, once in the morning when I get up and once at night before I go to sleep. I've been practicing my NEW body energy stimulation techniques before each session.
I took CFTravelers advice and when I get good and deep into trance, rather than allow my mind to chatter at me(wondering what technique I should try, trying to stay focused and not drift too deeply into one of the images racing across my minds eye, trying not to pay attention to the sounds in the room such as air conditioner unit, computer fan, etc)I focus intensely on the ringing sound in my ears. CFTraveler called it the 'earhiss'.
Well for the past three days, when I've been focused on the ringing, I'll hit a state where the ringing will suddenly get intensely loud. I'll start to hear all kinds of sounds, traffic noises(I live in the woods there is NO trafific), voices, dogs barking, wind blowing, typically random sounds all around me, yet at a distance. Right at the moment that the ringing sound is the loudest, I get a jolt of energy that feels like an intense body-buzz starting in my chest right below my throat and a bit above my sternum, and right at my ears and eyes as well. It radiates out in a pulse through the rest of my body like a concentric circle...like wwwWWWOOOOOOWWWWMMMM!!!! As it's "wowming" in it's outward pulse it also feels vaguely constricting, like it's going both directions at once. It almost feels like it's squeezing the air out of me as it's radiating outward throughout my body(so far the buzzing vibration has stayed mostly at my upper body)...like it's "wringing me out", but at the end of my exhale, when I go to inhale again, the extremely intense body-buzz stops.
I have no doubts that this is the infamous "vibration". I've heard it explained that it's like electricity but without pain, and that is a great description of what this feels like. It is unbelievably intense, and at the end of it, my heart feels like it is trying race out of my chest.
I can generally get myself to feel this intense vibration two or three times per session, but it's fleeting. It only last for a split second at the end of an exhale. I have to will myself to hear the ear ringing louder and eventually it starts(after a while, I can't get it to go any more...probably because I'm trying too hard now). During the vibration my eyes will often completely bug out and start fluttering and jumping around in my eye sockets, they're closed of course, but the sensation of my eyes fluttering along with the body vibration, and loud, loud, LOUD sound of the ringing and voices, and stuff, is very distracting. It's hard to stay completely calm when all of that is going on. I don't freak out or anything, but after that happens I'll find that the experience has created tension in my otherwise relaxed body. I'll have to re-relax my neck and shoulders again, to try and bring that sensation back on.
While the sensation is happening, what am I supposed to do? When all of that is going on at once, I don't have any time to practice an exit technique, not only because it's so fleeting, but mainly because there's now so much going on in my body that I don't really have much control over my conscious attention...I'm just 'there'...experiencing it. Should I try to extend the period of the vibration? If so what should I expect? Should I try to get it to include full breaths(exhalation AND inhalation)? If so, how? Should I try to get the vibrations all over my body? If so, how? I'm tensing up when it's happening without knowing it, should I try to keep that from happening? If so, how?
Suggestions for me at this point? Expert opinions? Emotional outbursts?
Dustin
