Hello! I´m still trying to project myself too, but i think that it is possible. The technique that i will start to use it is mean to be done while awakened.
Many of the techniques are meant to be used while sleeping, but i heared of many others that done awakened.
The one that i learned it is simple: you must to relax your body (very relaxed) and then you try to get out. I think that one it´s the oldest one.
