Welcome to Astral Chat! / Do not believe
April 29, 2011, 16:55:18
When you believe in something, it becomes something you carry with you at all times.
You may disregard things that are true because they do not match what you believe.
If you encounter something new you may ignore it because you have spent so much time and energy on your current beliefs and don't want to waste that.

That's why my way of thinking right now is do not believe in anything, do not have beliefs. Instead just have thoughts and understandings about things. If you change your mind there is no belief you have to fight with.
I recommend trying this mindset and would like opinions on it :)

2 videos that I both strongly recommend that explains this better than me:

3:40 to 8:25 in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhErdDT3odA&t=3m40s

Edit: the video was removed but uploaded again by the same user but this time it was 40 minutes instead of 50.

It seems like the same video but a edited a bit.

He talks about NDE, LD, OBE, AP, all the good stuff we like :-D It's a very scientific point of view and he seems to think that most of it is real.

I was wondering if Classic OBE and Phasing are just 2 different paths to the same destination. Or if they are different kind of experiences.

I've had more than 100 LD's that I personally don't consider AP (Xanth does). I've also had one classic OBE. First came the vibrations and the buzzing then i hovered out of my body. It was completely different from a dream. If some of those high-lucidity LD's I've had were actually AP then Classic OBE and AP is 2 separate things in my view.

Can someone who have experienced both Classic OBE and AP by Phasing comment on this?

Have anyone heard about Shamanistic Journey or knows what it is? I heard the term today and at first thought it was something like AP but i really have no idea.

According to this video i found from a quick search, it seems like you are just supposed to meditate on the drums and some kind of "shamanistic journey" will take place...

I may try following that video sometime this week when i get time.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Programming!
September 09, 2010, 11:08:08
Are anyone here good at programming? I started programming Java in school almost a year ago and I got very interested and learned much on my free time and I'm by far the best in my grade right now. I have learned some PHP as well but I like Java most.

This is my biggest project so far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIfu3m5Fb0I
I recently started on a new bigger project :)

I just finished reading the Energy Work-part in Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics and i noticed him saying that if you have problems after energy work you can do physical exercise which will drain your energy. That doesn't sound too good to me, draining your energy. Does anyone here know anything about that? Like if its less useful to do energy work right before physical exercise or just general information about balancing Energy Work and physical exercise.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / OBE or Dream?
January 06, 2010, 05:45:49
I had an OBE 4 months ago. After thinking about it and asking on (another) forum i came to the conclusion that it was an OBE, not a dream. Today (30 minutes ago to be exact) I had another experience I'd like to share and find out what it was. I've had some experience before that i quickly concluded was dreaming about an OBE, but i cant do that with this one.

I went to bed yesterday 03:40 after reading some about AP's and LD's and read that the pineal gland stimulates if you lay on your back. I sleep on my sides 9/10 times but i decided to lay on my back tonight. Then i had 3 or 4 normal dreams. And in the end of the last dream, after thinking about reality in the dream  :-o I was kinda surrounded by a TV and said/screamed something like "what is reality?!" and my dream-body got smashing in to the TV like if it was a gateway, now the interesting stuff happens...

I instantly woke up in an OBE stage (i think). I got vibrations that was different from before. Every 2 sec i heard a "rrmm" and felt some kind of vibration at the same time. Every "rrmm" my astral body in my bed started rotating a bit until it was rotated about 90 degrees. My body also felt heavy unlike my first OBE when i was weightless. Then i started the rope technique and after a few seconds i left my body i think. But everything was black. I clearly said to myself "Clarity, now!" and slowly opened my eyes but that was my physical eyes so i closed them. Then i found myself on the floor in the other side of my room, still doing the rope technique, the strange thing was that i was thinking "I hope my mom doesn't go in and see me on the floor" (dreamsign). Then i think i left my body again. I said "Clarity, now!" and opened my eyes but it was my physical eyes again so i decided never to open them.
So the entire experience was without vision except opening my eyes (i think..) twice. Thats pretty much it.

I've had one OBE before as i mentioned and I've gotten to the vibrationstage a few times so i know how it feels/sounds, but this time was a bit different. I confirmed that it was my physical eyes i saw through since what i saw was what my physical eyes would see from their position. After my first OBE i was energized and full of energy but after this one it was just waking up as usual.

Thanks for reading, do you think this was OBE or "just" a dream?

I heard that the mayan calender had no leap years. Meaning that our year is 365.25 days, while the mayan is only 365. So 1460 mayan years would be 1461 normal years. Meaning that the mayan calender ended somewhere in 2005 (didn't calculate the exact year).

Anyone have some information on this?

I have had vibrations twice 3 months ago after exiting lucid dreams and once i got a short OBE.

Yesterday I went to bed 22:00 and woke up 05:30 after a dream. I accidentally moved my leg so i was not in sleep paralysis. I decided to try DEILD/WILD/chaining to return into my dream, lucid. Within a minute, i started seeing Hypnagogic Images. It was a guy from some TV-show that said "Welcome" and some other things i don't remember/didn't hear. Then he said something like "try to make the audience laugh". So i did and they started laughing, then i got some vibrations and sound. Then he said "try to look around". And when i did that i got stronger vibrations and the sound got intense! I also heard i high pitched sound fading in and out almost every second. I tried to walk out without any technique, but nothing happened. It was like something was holding me back. The vibrations lasted about a minute and i was conscious and aware all the time. I think the problem was that i just tried to move, when you should move using your mind, right?. When i had my first OBE i think i used my mind.

So should i get an exit technique or just keep training with no technique?

Welcome to Members Introductions! / Hello :)

I have been checking out this forum for more then a month and decided to register last week but had problems with getting the activation link but it worked now with another email. I've had about 20 lucid dreams and one OBE :-D Only lasted about 5 sec, was fully aware during the separation. I got pulled back into my body when i was sitting up my bed. Still probably the most awesome feeling in my life :)
I'm 16 years old and live in Sweden.
