Welcome to Astral Chat! / . . .. so much hate

So basically you can tell whose enlightend and who isn't?

If I may be so bold, your error is assuming everyone here is for a higher purpose.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.  Most people are here for OOBE.  Period.  Having worked with some of them, they are so narrowly focused, they won't even remotely consider any of the other ideas.  Some are religious zealots of the 1st order, and refuse anything but their own Dogma.

However, there are a few people that can see the "Big Picture".  That really "get it".  To see beyond human lables to the underlying foundation is what lifes all about.  Often times the seeking for the answer is more important than the answer itself, the experience and process is the key.

But since I'm not perfect, sometimes I just gotta reach out and biatch-slap someone to shuttup [;)]

Removed memory? Okay, I had a friend who believe in past lives, and I was thinking about it, although I can't tell. Anyway, this friend of mine was always talking about getting visions from her past life, and explaining these things. If you had memories from the past that you could remember, but only barely, and perhaps an imagination of who you are wanting to really be in the past, or quite possibly who you DON'T want to be, then perhaps these things can sort of create a past life for you that didn't really exist. On the subject of someone explaining of who your past life it, I'd just say that it's a form of empathy, pulling the memory of the person, as well as what they're wanting or not wanting themselves to be, and merging them into a "past life."
Hehe, just a theory. I actually have loads, and I was going to type another one out, but it sort of vanished from my life. Give me time and I'll think of it again! [|)]

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / talking to guides

I SOOOOO know how frustrating that can be!

When I was first visited by the Spirit of Nature, I knew there were many names that have been given to her by many different cultures. When it became obvious that she was staying in contact with me on a more or less permanent basis, I asked her what I should call her.

Her usual reply was "why are you so obsessed with having to label everything?"

When talking about her I usually refer to her as The Green Lady, or The Goddess, but it's very hard to try to talk to her without giving her a name. Social conditioning I suppose. I've considered that for beings who do not require linguistic type verbal communications, the feeling of their presence is as much an identification as a name is. They don't seem to require names.
And yes she is right - I am obsessed with 'labelling' things.[:I]

James.

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / getting up

Hmmmm.....I would think that if you're already laying there, and your astral eyes are wide open, then you've already made the transistion to using your astral body as opposed to your physical one.

Therefore, in that state, you should be able to just move your astral limbs and roll out.

Perhaps you can explain a little bit more about what happens while you're laying there with full astral vision.  Are you vibrating?  Do you feel anything?  Do you hear anything?  Can you move?  etc.

I think the same way you do on this.  I figured out the best way to say it a little while ago, and it's this.  "What do you use your body for?"  Which basically means... why would you allow yourself to be sick in the first place?

I haven't ever been sick and in no way do I know any reiki.  So I haven't taken any medicine for anything my entire life.  Personally I think sickness is all a mind game.  If you allow sickness to come, you're gonna be sick.  Deny it and be healthy [:)]

If anybody understood the gibberish I've displayed... awesome.  It's 1:00 am here.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / discrimination

I kind of liken this subject to the X-Men movies (i haven't read the comics so i'm not sure about them), just on a much smaller scale. Some people are affraid of it because they see it as unnatural and a threat, and some people think it's cool and want to explore it. I think there have been more people moving into more spiritual interests over the recent years than there has been in the past, and i think it's a good thing if this continues.
