I often hear, mostly from the Lucidology videos on YouTube, that you aren't supposed to leave your body until after the vibrations subdue. Since I have never projected yet (I've only been able to enter sleep paralysis), it's been bothering me to wonder exactly happens after the vibrations then? Are you able to see your surroundings by this point or is everything still white? How can you tell you're ready and not just laying still like when you started?

Hello. I have been desperately trying to find astral projectors to talk to in regards to my recent events, so I decided to post here. I have been interested in astral projecting for almost the past three years and I have never projected yet. However, recently for maybe the past week, I have been getting to the vibrational stage with little or no intention at all as I'm falling asleep or waking up.

The most notable experience was a couple days ago as I was waking up from a dream. My vision was dark and hazy with sparks and my body felt like it was drifting away. If I concentrated enough, I could feel the vibrations strongly flowing throughout my body. It was a freaky and uncomfortable feeling for me, but the worst part was the ear popping; it felt as if water was gushing inside my inner ears. I knew this would be my chance to finally project, but the sensations just scared me too much.

As my day went on, I often thought about what had happened. I felt a little freaked out, confused, and concerned if I would be able to sleep normally. Thankfully I have been able to fall asleep fine, but I'm somewhat in fear of experiencing the stage anymore. I have in some way or another reached the stage everyday since (both from falling asleep and waking up), but not to the same intensity. I tend to have a lot more confidence in myself when it happens as I'm falling asleep since I am more prepared for it, but while waking up it's harder and scarier for me to commit to.

Can anyone relate to my experience and/or have tips to overcoming this fear completely? Is this my calling to the astral world? Is this how all/most astral travelers started off? Thanks.
