Hi!
I ´ve been trying so called phasing tec. and that is very cool when those "mind eye" visions starts.I just wondering  what are those vision??? and its quite hard sometimes to focus  those vision because when I try to do that usually "image" just disappear or it change.I understand that when you are right state of mind  and you stare those visions and you can  "phase" yourself in astral ?  Right?

I think such thinking has occured to all of us at some stage. The card idea has been put forward before, and if you feel that such will be beneficial to you then why not give it a try. By all means let us know how you get on.

The lucid dream state is basically Monroe's mental Focus 22. In other words, you are situated right on the edge of the Astral realms only without much of a degree of mental control. Basically, you know you are dreaming but that's really all.

In order to progress from this state, what you need to do is concentrate on bringing your whole sense of conscious awareness into play. One of the ways you can do this, is to first try and become completely still following which you look at some aspect of your dreamscape and ask yourself a question about it.

As you begin to question, your mind will bring other mental aspects into play such as your critical faculties, coupled with faculties of recognition. Once these come on stream, alongside comes your short-term and long-term memory banks, etc. to the extent where you develop the same full waking consciousness that you normally have with you within the Physical, only you are within the Astral.

At this point, you will be in control enough to be able to develop a particular Intent to go wherever you feel like going. (Within the Astral, Intent is the fuel that drives you to places.)

Yours,
Frank

What I do (always on weekends so I can sleep in) is awake around 6.00am and listen to an album or something to keep me awake for around half an hour, then go back to sleep (sometimes combined with the Suneye technique).
Be warned though: this seems to cause a truckload of False Awakenings.

Hi Telecaster,

I think the trees were thought forms. Robert Bruce talks about it in the Treatise on OBE. Here is what he says about it:

"If a physical object has been around for a very long time, it will have grown a lasting thought form impression in the astral. After the object is destroyed or removed, its thought form still endures. You may, for example, in the astral, find furniture in your house you don't have, jumbled up with your own. This is caused by the decaying thought forms of old stuff, belonging to previous tenants etc, still being there, years after the originals have gone."

Hey there neighbour ;)
Clearing ones surface thougts isn´t easy, I have just started on my training, so I can´t say how long it´ll take to fully develop this ability.
But one makes progress pretty much all the time... (you get the results you put into it, as with everything else in life.)

Meditation, focusing all your awareness on for an example your breath can be very helpful, as well as several other activities/techniques. You can get some helpful advice on good ways to clear you mind in Roberts book Astral Dynamics in case you haven´t already bought it...

I just developed my very own "technique" last night, I imagine myself standing in the middle of a very hightraffic road, with lots of cars going extremly fast past me. I picture they are my surface thoughts, constant chattering in my mind...  then I picture them going a bit slower, followed by imagining myself slowly "going upwards" away from them, hearing/feeling the cars/thoughts less and less for every inch away from them I go..  and when I have reached high enough so I can barely notice them any longer, I picture a tunnel instantly appearing above them - a sound isolated tunnel I might add...    ..and by that time it gets alot harder to notice the cars/thoughts and your mind clears up actually.  I´ve only tried the "technique" once since I came up with it last night, but I got results right away - it´s actually kinda fun developing your own aids (not the virus).   Keep your imagination flowing, and you´ll come up with something that´ll aid you in your quest for a silent surface mind - or just borrow any of all the existing brilliant techniques and activities out there, the latter being the most convinient.. (sp?)
