I can't explain this to people in my life because they don't get it.

Sometimes when I sleep I go to this place. It is a world that looks much like ours but a little different. The buildings look a little odd and different looking...but its not like a weird outerspace looking place.  The feeling of this place however, it completely different from this world. Whenever I am in this particular place, I feel euphoric. Everyone on this dimension is happy. There is no "static" in the air. No cell phones because you can communicate with anyone at any time. You feel like you know everyone.  There is a COMPLETE absence of fear of any kind.

There are no cars or vehicles because you think of a place and you appear there. There is no monetary system because again, anything you think of you can have. That isn't even an exciting thing there because it is normal. Everyone works. There are stores and places like that but people work because they want to,  not for money. They work wherever they want one day and another day if they want to do something else they can.

I know this sounds like some fantasy dream but it isn't. I know the difference between a dream, and when I am in a real place. The place feels so peaceful and happy. I have been there maybe about 8 times that I remember, always in a different location, but I know I am there because of the feeling. Sometimes days after I wake up I think back to this place and I can physically feel the peaceful euphoria I felt when I was there.

I want to know, what do you think is happening? Where was I? Was this some form of heaven? It felt so....normal being there. But it felt so good. Any time I describe it to someone, they think I am nuts or that I was "just dreaming". But it was vivid and different. If this is another realm I was on, I wish I lived there. Nothing on this world compares to what its like there. Anyone have experiences like this?

I've been dealing with a very odd  situation that occurs when I sleep. I don't know if this is a sleeping disorder, or something else. It doesn't happen every night, but it happens a lot. I do have an anxiety disorder, which is why I am not sure if this is what's causing it. It's very hard to describe, but I'll try my best.

When I'm sleeping sometimes, I feel my entire body vibrating. I can even hear my jaw chattering. I hear weird noises such as a high pitched squeal, waves crashing, buzzing, whispering, wind etc. In my mind I am screaming to myself "Wake yourself up! Wake yourself up!" because I am awake in my mind, but I can't get up. I'm telling myself to move any body part so I can wake myself up, but I CAN'T move anything. My body is totally paralyzed. I'm telling myself to make a noise with my throat so I will hear it and wake up, but I can't even do that. The only thing I can move is my feet very slightly. What I have to do is rock my feet back and fourth until my body starts to rock with it, and then I wake up. When I do wake up, I immediately fall right back asleep. It is as if I am under anesthesia, and simply cannot stay awake. It is impossible.

It is almost like I am half asleep, half awake. Sometimes all I see is black and I am awake in my mind, then I'll see bits and pieces of things like a film strip. I'll see nothing but black with colors or shapes swirling around, sometimes I can hear music/people talking. A few times I felt the sensation of someone rubbing my face. One time I felt my entire body tingle..not to get graphic, but it was the feeling of an orgasm except all over my body (that was the only time I enjoyed this experience lol). My body twitches and jerks, and it scared me because I thought I was having seizures (are you aware of when you're having a seizure? :?).

To sum it all up, I feel like I am trapped in a trance for a long time. My eyes are closed, my body experiences weird sensations and won't stop twitching/vibrating/jerking. I hear things, and I'm awake in my mind- yet drifting in and out of dreams.  When this first started happening, I thought I was dying and it scared me. Then I thought it was a sleeping disorder......  but when I looked it up, someone said it sounded like astral projection. The thing is, I have never left my body before. So I don't see how it is astral projection.

This happened to me again tonight, and for the hell of it I said "Ok, let me see if this IS astral projection...I will try and float out of my body when this happens." I tried, I was willing, and I couldn't. My body stayed in this paralyzed state. I still felt the weird sensations, saw bits and pieces of scrambled up "dreams", heard noises, and couldn't wake myself up. But I didn't float out of my body.

I would like to know if this sounds like a sleeping disorder to you, or something else. I really don't like this. It used to scare me, but now it just annoys me.  Sleep is supposed to be peaceful, and this is anything but. I am used to it now because it's been happening for a few years. I'd just like to know WHAT is occurring. Any help?
