     Hey everybody, I love the community you all have going here and was hoping you all could help me out. About three months ago I broke my arm. Due to this I was cooped up in my room for a week straight. I was on a high dosage of oxycodone and smoking a lot of cannabis(dont hate). Due to the pain killers I was realy out of it and couldnt concentrate on anything, my mind was literally blank basically 24/7.
    At one point I had a verry odd experience which has led me on to find this resource and pursue astral projection. I was sitting up in bed starring at the wall across from my bed at a single point for a while. As ususal blackness crept into my vision from the sides. Out of curiosity I continued to stare and see where it went. Well slowly my whole vision turned to blackness and I began to see blurs of color and such until it started to form some actualy shapes. First I saw a square and from there it developed into the windshield of a car which I was driving down the highway! I was going very fast and everything around me was a blur. This went on for a minute or two and I realized I wasn't really in control because then I just drove off the side of the road. I felt the impact but no pain and then I stared around the ditch I was in and then everything I saw slowly faded back into colors and such and then my vision came back to normal and I was still just staring at the wall.
    This experience kind of had me shaken up a little because it seemed completely real at the time, it was like no dream I had ever had. So im wondering was this anything besides a dream?

    Hey guys over the past two weeks I have been reading up on OBE's and the AP. It has peaked my interest and I have been meditating daily and attempting to get a feel for my consciousness. The past couple nights I have had success in feeling new sensations such as a spinning sensation as if i was floating and spinning to my right side, also a heavy led blanket type feeling and also that of warmth and forgetting about my body.
    Last night I had one new thing happen. In my right ear i heard a consistent soft beat in my right ear. At the time I summed it up to be my pulse but have been wondering if it was more than that and if it being my pulse is even a valid claim. Could this have been an auditory perception or something? I am not the type to remember many dreams but in the morning I recall it being explained that the sound was the ticking of a clock and i can remember looking at a clock and hearing the sound.
    If you know what it could have been thanks for sharing, and any tips are appreciated as well, i am very to all this and your community here seems to be a great resource. Thanks in advance!
