I would just like to know whether your body is getting the required sleep it needs at night if the person sleeping is having an out of body experience. For example, would someone who slept 8 hours without having an OBE get the same amount of sleep as someone who also was asleep for 8 hours who say had an OBE for the first 2 hours of their sleep and then slept normally for the next 6 hours.

I have yet to have an OBE, but have been practicing for months and am getting closer each time I practice. My friend and I just thought how amazing it would be to be able to have these experiences while still getting all the sleep our body needs during the resting period of the experience. I would assume we do get the required sleep needed while experiencing an OBE, but an answer from someone who is experienced would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
