Hi All,

Quick question.  What validations have you had that have made you 100% sure that you left your physical body and therefore are able to continue after physical death?

Just interested as I have not yet managed OBE.  I will do my own validations, of course, when I finally manage to OBE.

I have been regulary practicing AP now for about 5 months without a successful projectiion so far.  I felt comfortable and without fear until last night.  I stumbled upon Erin Pavlina's website and now feel fear about AP.  Her site talks about 4 month battles with Demons etc.  Is she for real?  I now seriously having second thoughts and wanted some thoughts/opinions from the Astral Pulse bunch.

Instead of creating a new thread everytime I get a new experience on my quest to achieve Astral Projection I thought it might be a good idea to stick everything in the one thread as a kind of journal.  That is if no one objects.  Not exactly sure of forum rules.


Anyway down to business:  26/06/11 20.20

AP practice on son's floor as per current practice regime whilst putting him to sleep.  Using Binaural beats.  Start to feel slight vibration.  Previously I just let vibrations happen and they usually go and nothing else happens.  Currently as soon as I feel even a slight vibration, I commence the rope technique.  This increases the vibration and today I suddenly felt my whole body float upwards probably only about 6 inches.  The extremeties of my body felt tingly.  I think at this point I got over excited and my body sank back although I didn't feel this to the same extent as when it rose up.  I tried a couple of commands like vision now, as my sight was still black and tried a command like move to the kitchen.  I think both of these were pointless as I believe my excitement had already ended the experience.

Thoughts please from anyone who has any opinions on what happened here? I think I'm definitely getting closer since I've started to use a technique at the onset of vibration.

Had an interesting experience last night.  I was lying on my 4yr olds floor with the wife as we do every night when we put him to bed and I drifted off.  Next minute I recall opening my eyes and seeing my wife sat next to me on the floor.  Then suddenly I was awake and opened my real eyes to see my wife lay down on the floor.

This coincided with me starting to do binaural beats and Astral Projection practice again after a few weeks break.

Was this an OBE or was I just dreaming?  It seemed pretty real for the instant that it occured.

I am new here and although I have tried Astral Projection in my past it is only now that I have seriously begun practicing projection.
,
I have been using Binaural Beats and have already noticed some interesting states of consciousness, I haven't previously felt.

Whilst listening to the beats, I get images flash before me and a few weeks ago I experienced a strong image of a card. 

The following day I sketched a picture of the image I had seen on a piece of paper and dated it. The image was of a card with hearts running around the top, bottom and right edge where the card opens.  The hearts were not down the spine edge.  Knowing Valentine's day was approaching I was intrigued.

I mentioned nothing of this to my wife and decided to wait and see what happened.  When I opened the card two weeks later on the 14Th Feb I could not believe my eyes when the card had hearts running round the edges as I had seen two weeks previously.  I showed my wife the image I had drawn and she too was amazed.

How can this be explained?  I now feel even more amazed at the possibilities of this universe.  What are people's thoughts on this and has anyone else experienced such phenomena?
