Welcome to Dreams! / Zombies
June 07, 2005, 17:17:56
Can anyone tell me what zombies in dreams mean? I've had two recent zombie dreams and I've never had them before. I'm being chased by them. In the first dream I am able to beat them, but in the second dream the world is doomed because the zombie army has grown too large.

Thx

Welcome to Dreams! / Learning in dreams
January 03, 2005, 18:18:25
A few years ago, I learned how to moonwalk. I learned this in a dream. In real life, I never had a clue about how to moonwalk. I just tried to move my legs in a stupid way and I never came close to figuring out how to moonwalk. Until that one dream.

It was a very clear dream and I was just moonwalking and I really felt the way you should use your body. After that, moonwalking in real life was quickly learned. I knew what to do, how to use my body, because of the dream...

Has anyone here experienced something like this?

Welcome to Dreams! / Dream interpretation
November 07, 2004, 14:21:39
Maybe somebody can help me with this.

For years now I've been having dreams in which I'm escaping from something or someone. These are not scary dreams, but they are more adventurous, although sometimes I wake up sweating.

These dreams are the red line in my dream life for maybe 5 years now (maybe even longer).
I'm escaping from the police, I'm in car chases, I'm being chased by groups of people or even orcs (Lord of the Rings), I'm fleeing becaused I committed a murder or because I robbed a bank.

What can this all mean?

I can't say the dreams are always nice, but atleast I know where I am.

Save for #3. "Crying for no apparent reason. " I have all of them to a degree. But does that mean something unusual is afoot or just that everyone experiences these things at some point or another in their lives?

Pretty good.
I think the following quote sums up the problem with happiness.

quote:
For a lot of people life is an endless quest in search of happiness. Even when happiness is found, it appears to be very fragile and can disappear in an instant.

We are conditioned from birth to seek out happiness at all costs. We live our lives in our memories of yesterday and in fear of tomorrow.

Instead we should stop and live in the now because it's the only real moment. When one stops running after happiness it'll come naturally.

Welcome to Dreams! / Cheese and warm milk!!
January 15, 2004, 19:26:16
I have a slice of cheese, 2 yogurts and pepermint tea before going to bed. Dairy products cause a little bit of digestion, which keeps you more awake during the night, which allows you to be more aware of your dreams, I think.. I dont know about the pepermint tea, I just know it works.

which "god"?  If you are referring to the unknowable numinous that some consider to be the xian "god" then I would have to say that "god" transcends gender yet has qualities of both.

many people back then did not know "god" all they knew was their own egoism projected into the heavens.

I think giving the name and place is more or less useless since it shouldn't make much difference for the subconscious if it knows the name of the other person.
If you like you can try to figure the name of my sick cat. just ask for the name to read it on the wall or something while having a LD. I'll ask for your mother if I remember it ; )

Hi Tony M.,

For my part I haven't heard of her. What I have done is to move your topic from Welcome to Members Book Recommendations & Reviews. That forum is actually for when one has read a book and then writes a review and/or a recommendation for that book.

This thread has been placed in the Astral Chat section. If you disagree please pm me and we'll work something out. [:)]

Very best,

Welcome to Dreams! / Collective entity?
October 13, 2003, 00:10:03
Yep, its true!
Maybe you've heard of the hundred monkies project, where, onehundred monkies, were placed into isolation on an island and studied for a period of time. Whenever one monkey would develop a skill, say, cleaning mud off the potatos provided to them, the rest of the monkies developed the skill naturally without being shown. Same type of thing with a group of people who were tested using crossword puzzles. One day, the group of people who did the puzzles were given one day old tests, their score went up dramatically, atleast 20% per person.

The human brain is easily capable of telepathy, conciouss of it or not, as well as our brother speicies apes. Another reason for this is creativity. Dreams are also a great way to release the creative ideas stored in the brain, like ventalating them almost.
