During sleep paralysis, as usual, I was tired from the night before and was basically primed. I relaxed, counted by heartbeats, pushed my thoughts aside, used a mantra and all thought closed in onto on point of consciousnesses. I decided to keep my mind active by using the speed clock technique and it became faster and faster and all of a sudden, all my senses seemed to vanish. It was just me and I let my dream state go wild, but kept it stable. I was soon imagining and visualizing that I was at school being chased by a large snake. I was drifting off into almost an entire sleep but I stopped that thought and pulled everything back to that point of consciousness.

There is a particular bird in our school; and I think it's marsh bird. While my thoughts were stable, I heard the bird tweeting from a distance from my eardrum. I continued to stay calm and it was as these beats played in my ear. The sound somehow made me think of ocean waves because of the pulsing sound. I became more and more aware of my surroundings and rolled over to fall asleep.

Here is an experience I had just last night unexpectedly. Before I fell to sleep, I decided to meditate and relax the body to fall to sleep. While I was in that meditative trance, I told myself I wanted to have some type of new experience that night and was willing to do so, whatever it may been. I dropped off to sleep and woke back up around 2 in the morning; I was awakened by my dog. The dog was taking up all the room on the bed, so I put her outside the room and went to sleep. I then must have lightly awakened on the dream state border and I had picked up on that. I felt that I was able to separate, and I decided I wanted to try something new. Instead of levitating or rolling out, I imagined my body falling through a dense rainforest jungle canopy. I actually felt the tress pulling me down and as I did that, I was rotating as if I were falling.

After a minute of that, I rolled out of bed, and stood beside my bed but it was darkness. I thought of my body, and was back in it with a flash. I opened my astral eyes to see my roof, and I began moving back and forth/ up and down on my bed; I'd levitate almost to my ceiling then descend just before hitting the bed. I did that warm-up until I wanted to try a 'classic' separation, the rope method; just to see if it'd work. I reached out my arms, expected to grab a rope, to grab some type of cord and I pulling myself out of my body. Really, after all that, I was excited and exhausted and drifted off back into a normal dream state. I have actually passed a barrier, as I have always wanted to play around the the state before actually separating. I did the same with vibrations and hallucinations, and I believe I'm staggering further.

I went to bed at 10PM and decided to do some stretches before getting into bed. I massaged my jaws and stretched my arms/shoulders. Afterwards, I got comfortable and began to slowly breathe. After I was nice and relaxed, I began to count 150 heart beats. It was actually difficult when you got to around 120 because your mind begins to wander and dream thoughts and characters begin to create and appear in your mind. I finally got to 150 heart beats, and I tensed and relaxed any muscle that needed to be relaxed more. After that, I began to count another 150 onto 300. As I was going that, I must of lost track at around 380 because I don't remember getting to 450 heart beats.

All of a sudden, I saw an airport through an image and a voice talked to me at different pitches at the same time, saying, "It's Lachlan,". At first, I thought it was my mind but it wasn't my voice. It was like my voice in my mind. Then everything seemed to settle and I heard sounds I can't remember coming from my doorway and then my breathing pattern changed dramatically which worried me and made my awareness to what was happening. Then, the next minute, I felt a heavy feeling moving up from my feet towards my chest. I could feel my hands beside me floating around, and I moved them around as well. I tried to imagine the feeling of floating upwards but nothing was successful. I decided to roll over and go to sleep.
