I am no moderator to be sure, but their job is not censorship of ideas but instead of offensive content like curse words. I understand your feelings but drugs have been a part of spiritual concepts since the dawn of time. Drugs have been used in conjunction with meditation in native american cultures for centuries. It is just another path that people choose to take. My best advice is to steer clear of those types of topics if they offend you so, but in my opinion they are not totally out of place on the forums.

Despite the numerous theories about what's supposed to happen, I don't think anything is going to happen. This spirit-war is far from over. 2012 is the end of the Mayan calendar as far as we can tell. Nobody knows why though. People have their theories but I have a definite feeling that we are in no immediate danger of the spirit-war. At one time I did believe the end of the world was at hand but then I realized that we cannot possibly prepare for the end of the world no matter when it is, so there's no point in worrying about it. The spirit-war is going on, and I can feel it. I fight every day. In fact just a couple nights ago I fought a dark spirit that entered my apartment via the window. I warned it to leave and never return or it would face me in combat. It chose combat, and I made it my practice dummy. I have a lot of guardians and pretty good radar for negs. It is rare that they will surprise me or enter my room undetected. I rarely get attacked as it is.

shen is roughly translated from pinyin to "spirit". from what i understand it is cultivated in buddhist qi gong practice, not to increase strength of body, but strength of spirit. and i feel, in this context, spirit would be considered to be the same thing as the three more subtle koshas(bodies), after the pranamaya kosha, or the energy body. cultivating the shen is about moving more and more of one's consciousness into a real of pure spirit energy. this is one of the major differences between taoist and buddhist philosophy.
