Hi Neo Schiavo,

Sometimes I've experienced more than one sense at the same time. Perhaps you've read other person's accounts of color. Blue isn't just blue it has a tactile sensation to it. Sometimes what I see also has sound and feeling at the same time, as if I am multi-sensual all at once,  and multi-perceiving. Some of it may be due to the difference in timing. Instant communication, instant teletransport. It's difficult to describe. Perhaps there are new terms for some of this, or I'm sure there will be. I'm sure someone will write a book or concoct a course with new terminolgy or perhaps someone already has. I really don't know what chakras they are connected to. The latest things I've read about chakras, is they they are actually all one chakra, or holochakra. Then another book says there are new chakras developing all the time. I really don't think anyone has completely mapped it out, although many people think they have (and it's interesting how their conclusions vary). If it's something that is part of CIM, (constant intelligent motion), then it can't be completely mapped out because it doesn't stop changing, evolving, long enough to form hard and fast "absolute" conclusions about it.

Try Gateway series Wave 1. Its given me a few OBE's, but then again, I've listened to it hundreds of times. !

Also, look in "astral conciousness" section for Frank's long post on Wave 1 CD, and how he used it.

Never tried the other CDs.

ps - I would never advocate downloading it from Kazaa.... that would be unthinkable. [:)]

I sometimes enter the real time zone spontaneously while still in my physical body, i know its the RTZ because everything around me becomes crisp clear, and a heavenly bliss feeling comes down on me, just like when I enter the RTZ while attempting to project.

I wouldn't worry too much about linking science with religion, God did not put man on earth for that, Earth is testing grounds for Man.

I beleive Man's technological advancement has a limit, and once the limit has been reached, the physical universe will be blown away, think about it, the only way man will become more advanced is by looking past the physical universe and tapping into the wonders beyond. So much intelligence and Wisdom beyond.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Feeling Colors?

I belive getting the sences mixed up is called syntesti or something . like someone will see any instances of 5 as blue . or feeling colours. or even tasting with hands or feet. To me it seems more dibilating than helpfull(though some impressive tricks can be performed).

Scientists belive its caused by some information leakage between brainhalfes but are unsure if it is damage or a natural prossess of sence creation. Also apperantly some pshycotropic drugs can let one experience this on temporary basis (no info on what drugs).

Assuming that NDE's were all a part of a dying brain, and that these experiences were nothing more than hallucinations with out-of-body sensations, there is still a couple of things which I don't quite buy.

If NDE's (and OBE's for that matter) are hallucinations, then why do all (or most, should I say) of these "hallucinations" seem to follow a uniform experience?  In other words, most people who have a NDE report the same things: seeing their immediete surroundings, seeing a bright light or tunnel, seeing deceased relatives, etc.

Most of these cases all "see" the same thing.  Whereas hallucinations are generally erratic, unpredictable, and many times, no two people will see the same hallucination.  As a crude example, two people tripping on LSD will see different things, even though both are having the same parts of the brain stimulated.

Yet, in OBE's and NDE's thousands of people (both in the present and in ages past) experience the same type of thing.  The sensations are reproducable, and there is some sort of non-physical communication involved (as is the case with people who have verified things in the physical while they are projecting).

Also, most people who hallucinate don't have a lot of control over their experience or their actions....whereas OBE'ers and those who have had an NDE report having an incredible amount of clarity, clearness, and they possess their full conscious awareness.  They know exactly what is going on, which is why it's so amazing.

Those are just some of my thoughts on why OBE's and NDE's are not just some bi-product of the brain.

I'm not sure of the answers to your questions, but i have a link to a message board that deals directly with remote viewing: http://www.tenthousandroads.com/wbbs/WBB.cgi

Supposing that you believe they exist, they are simply the people that inhabit Nibiru, or 'Planet X'. From all instances they were here in the past before the great deluge and for a little while afterwards. Zecharia Sitchin's work shows evidence that Yahweh (the Jewish 'God') was actually the Annunaki Enki/Ea, who was from Nibiru. In fact, the puzzling quote "I am that I am" can also mean "I am Ea" in the original hebrew texts, and the ancients are famous for their many words with double-meanings. A good example is the word Adapa or the biblical name Adam, which could mean both 'man' and 'clay', 'earth, etc., which relates to the biblical statement that man was created from the clay of the Earth.

If they were hellbent on world domination, they would've gotten it a long time ago, before we were even civilized enough to defend ourselves. It really wouldn't be that hard for them, if other races weren't in the way..

Hi NeoSchiavo,

As you can see the topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. You see, we have these different forum topics for a reason. While it may take "days" for someone to respond, I would suggest a bit of patience. You can also take comfort in knowing that your topic won't slide off the first page as quickly as it would have in the Astral Chat forum. [:)]

Hi Neo Schiavo,

The following provides the best explanation I could find:

The Royal Air Force Motto
" Per Ardua ad Astra"

As far as can be ascertained, the motto of the Royal Air Force dates back to 1912 and the formation of the Royal Flying Corps (RFC). The first Commanding Officer of the RFC (Military Wing) was Colonel Frederick Sykes. He asked his officers to come up with a motto for the new service; one which would produce a strong esprit de corps.

Shortly after this, two junior officers were walking from the Officers' Mess at Farnborough to Cody's Shed on Laffan Plain. As they walked, they discussed the problem of the motto and one of them, JS Yule, mentioned the phrase "Sicictar ad Astra", from the Virgilian texts. He then expanded on this with the phrase "Per Ardua ad Astra", which he translated as, "Through Struggles to the Stars". Colonel Sykes approved of this as the motto and forwarded it to the War Office. It was then submitted to the King, who approved its adoption.

The question of where this motto had come from can be answered by he fact that Yule had read it in a book called "People of the Mist" by Sir Henry Rider Haggard. In the first chapter was the passage, "To his right were two stately gates of iron fantastically wrought, supported by stone pillars on whose summit stood griffins of black marble embracing coats of arms and banners inscribed with the device 'Per Ardua ad Astra'".

As to where Sir Rider Haggard obtained this phrase is still unclear although it is possible that it originated from the Irish family of Mulway who had used it as their family motto for hundreds of years and translated it as "Through Struggles to the Stars".

The authoritative translation of the motto is just as unsure as the source. Since there can be a number of different meanings to 'Ardua' and 'Astra', scholars have declared it to untranslatable. To the Royal Air Force and Commonwealth Air Forces though it will remain "Through Struggles to the Stars". It is peculiar to the Royal Air Force and has been made famous by the heroic and courageous deeds of our air forces over the years.

Here is the link to the page where I obtained the information: http://www.raf.mod.uk/history/hrafmotto.html

p.s.
This topic really should not be in OBE Discussions so I moved it to Astral Chat. If you disagree please PM me and we'll work something out.

I am not an APer - than you must ask yourself why have i replied - i read LOTS of books on the subject - and begin my OBE a couple of days ago...
So i will answear your question not from personal experience but by Monroe`s, Frank`s, and Robert Bruce`s

1. The astral IS Mind Sensitive - so if you think that you are naked you will be - of course you can look without thinking - but that`s where the subcouncious comes in play :)

2. From what i`ve read on this forums - is something like 2 beings becoming one - like they melt into eachother - Rober Bruce advised not to do Astral Sex because of the easy way to fall into the Alice Effect - if it wasn`t RB that said that.. sorry Robert :D

3. Ha - i thought of this too - I can`t answear this question really well because i really don`t know - but i Imagine that you won`t go to the filming place - because that was in the past - but you will go into the virtual reality of that movie or whatever :D

4. That it`s a tough question - and i can`t answear it - i don`t know :D

Respect,
Mihai
