I'm trying to determine whether my experiences are Real-Time Projections or WILDs (wake-induced lucid dream).  They typically start with me waking up and finding my body to be suddenly charged with energy.  Today when that happened, I attempted to leave my body.  I thought I was successful, but when I tried opening my projected eyes (I almost always have vision problems in projections), I opened my physical eyes instead.  I closed my eyes and got out again and did a few flips/somersaults.  I couldn't move much so in frustration I gritted my teeth and then realized that I gritted my physical teeth.

There was not a break in consciousness through the whole experience, but I know that both WILDs and Real-Time Projections share that aspect.  What do you need to do differently to have a Real-Time Projection that you can objectively validate?

Hello everyone - when you want to end an OBE, do you have to 'jump back' into your physical body?  Or does your energy/concentration just fade away and you return like that?  The experiences I believed to be OBEs fall into the latter category - I end up fading out and my consciousness returns to my physical body.
My second question is: when you are attempting to meditate and you end up having involuntary movements (not from cold), does that just indicate insufficient physical relaxation?  I don't remember ever having that problem till yesterday.  I don't imagine it being too difficult to overcome.  Have any of you experienced the same?

I realize that a lot of people believe in one of the three Abrahamic religions and in the occult at the same time such as religious mystics.  But I'm guessing many of you have been raised in one of the three (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) religions and believed in it till you were introduced to the occult.  That was the case with me and Islam.  Are any of you former Muslims and now Spiritualists/Pagans?  I don't think I know anyone else yet, but I'm sure I'm not the only one!

Welcome to Dreams! / Spiritual Guides
October 31, 2004, 02:33:14
Yesterday I had a whole string of lucid dreams and possible astral projections (can't say for sure because I haven't been able to validate them yet).  I like being self-reliant, but for a change I decided to ask for my spiritual guide.  I was then 'reeled' up to a strange room and met whom I believed was my spiritual guide - a woman in her 50s wearing a shawl.  I asked her for advice about the occult and she said I shouldn't really pursue it because I don't have much potential!  But I pressed on, and she gave me two strange pieces of advice.  One is to "show no mercy" and the other I can't remember because I had many, many lucid dreams afterwards.  Have any of you experienced something similar?  Having a spiritual guide tell you that you are mediocre?  I am not upset about it or anything but I just found it surprising and strange.

Every text on the supernatural/occult I come across and nearly everyone I meet who is a practitioner of magick/astral projection/etc. believes without a doubt that every being is linked together and is part of one being or source -"universal interconnection".  Have any of you come across alternate views or opinions in books or articles about this topic?  Thank you.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Spiritual/Magickal Orders
September 20, 2004, 11:21:23
Hi! I am not member of any org., and i never was.

If want to dig into the metaphysical world, this is the best place for seeking answers and create nice discussions. Certainly that there are more places in the net with more information about metaphysycal stuff, but this site its the one with the best forum that i know.

Nice and inteligent people moderate it, and i dont remember of any moderator censoring any post. Only for excepcional reasons that will happen. For shure you will like this forum.

In the mother page (www.astralpulse.com) you will find some interesting things, particulary related with out of body experiences.

If you want to explore the metaphysical world you should ask specifically what do ou want, because its a vast topic that one.

Do you want to study:
religions?
ufos?
obes (out of body experiences)?
angels?
the nature of reality?
dreams?
....

there are plenty of things to explore but you must specify your bigest interests. Also, you will find forums and threads, here in the astralpulse, that discuss the above topics (i think that ufos its the only missing, but you can post about ufos here in the "Astral Chat" i suppose, just ask to a moderator.

Well, thats all for now. If you like Budhism you should check this site that i just found (see the link to the ebooks- free and good ebooks):

Welcome to Dreams! / String of Dreams

Asif,
I'm just beginning to understand what "false awkenings" means. It's starting to appear to me as not so much as "false" awakenings, but various levels of consciousness (during waking process). Maybe you are connecting to others at various levels? If you thought you had projected at times, perhaps you did! It could be things haven't clicked yet for you in the way of some kind of confirmation. Be patient, and maybe someone will relate something to you.It sounds like your doing a lot of good dreaming! Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid Dream Characters
May 03, 2004, 02:51:24
Most of my dream characters seems dumb too.  The rest doesn't run away; but just go on with whatever they were doing, ignoring me.
And about the length of LDs; I am in the same boat; mine are as short as yours...
What makes you think dreams are just some internal experiences...?

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Strange Dreams

It's possible to have so many different types of experiences during the night...

...spontaneous real-time projections, spontaneous astral projections, inner projections (lucid dreams), and even spirit visitations. The lasting memory you have of this when you wake up (return to your physical body) will depend on the shadow memory download when you reintergrate with your physical body. Everything you experienced hs to get downloaded inot a base level format that the brain can understand. When you are downloading multiple experiences from the same night, these experiences can become overlayed ontop of eachother, mixing certain parts of them together, or not. That is why spometimes dreams are so jumbled. My dreams are always jumbled, excpet right around the time of the full moon, then, they are extremely vivd. Perhaps you had multiple experiences that night, I wouldn't doubt the possibility of a higher level spontaneous projection or maybe even a visitation...

Funny you mention eyes...

Whenever I try to relax my eyes behind my eyes try to blink (even though they're shut) and often feel extremely uncomfortable... and my eyelids often feel very uncomfortable also.

They're probably my one biggest annoyance :(

EM and psi energy definitely seem to interact, and one can be transformed into the other--however, they are not the same thing.  How much EM someone's emitting may have more to do with the particular frequency/pattern of their field than with the amount of energy they are carrying.  (ie, someone else could be carrying more energy, but register less EM because the energy they produce doesn't convert as readily.
EM production in psis can fluctuate, too, apart from their psi energy production--many psis I know have days in which they would be advised not to work with computer components.
