Hey everyone,
I decided to rejoin this forum after becoming interested in OBE's again recently. I first created an account back in 2005 but didn't turn into a regular contributor.
Last Saturday I read a post where Summerlander strongly recommended one of Michael Raduga's e-books called "School of Out-of-Body Travel". So that night I began to read it. It's very informative and I highly recommend it as well. After going to bed I reminded myself to wake up and be very alert in the morning. I woke up around 8 a.m., lying on my back and feeling the vibrations. I didn't do anything to make them start. Being completely still, eyes closed, and letting the vibrations grow stronger, I suddenly felt (for the first time, something new while attempting to project) my hearing becoming distorted rapidly and then my ears popping. It felt like going underwater. Next thing, there was absolute silence and I could feel my other body separating gradually, but my head got stuck. The rest of my body was floating above me, but I couldn't see anything. I felt frustrated and woke up. The next morning I was very alert at first but then kept falling asleep trying to project, so I just got out of bed.
Tuesday morning was different. I was lying on my left side when I woke up and felt the vibrations occurring naturally again, so I tried to amplify them and it happened almost immediately. After that my ears popped. It was the same as before. I could feel the body separating now, but this time I remembered to roll out of bed. I completely separated for the first time. I couldn't hear or see anything, so I tried to open my astral eyes and started using a technique (rubbing hands) to gain clarity. I could see my hands, they were transparent, but my vision remained blocked except for a small area in the middle. Another thing that also disappointed me was when I turned around and didn't see my physical body lying in bed. I guess it had to do with my vision not working well. I even used the "Clarity now" method but nothing happened. Then I woke up.
Have any of you experienced that limited vision before while projecting? I need all the help I can get regarding that subject. And also, do you always see your physical body once you're out?
