Look in the mirror, do you see a human? Then you are a human. Perhaps your inner self came to this human shell from some elf dimension, I don't know, but it's possible. But for now you are what you are, and the best thing you can do is to experience as much as you can, because I don't put much stock in chance, so you're probably here for a reason. Also, did this mage say anything to fill up what he said, perhaps explaining the differences between what different beings look thorugh the planes. If not, he/she is probably full of shite. You should. I mean, you're not seeing while you're out, you're perceiving. The brain just interprets it as sight because that's waht youcan best relate it to.

I will tell you what I've heard from variable sources. Usually, for most, I assume it is from 5 minutes to half an hour. However, there has also been talk about leaving for hours. Yet, I haven't come across any credentials on that.

i think that " rise her from yourself and give her your love " means that in order for her to realize that you love her, you have to sacrifice something you love for her. I think that the guy who said that is your unconcious self trying to give you a hand because it is taking up too much room in your mind , which is causing " this guy" to show up.
