I came across a website which gives free numerology readings, this really helped me finalize my goals and set my
priorities. If you find it useful let me know on the thread, or PM me

Like title says, is it better to ignore the vibrations or to raise them?

I heard that once you get them you should raise them and instinctively you would know how,
but that's not the case for me.

Instead of vibrations I get this feeling like I'm water and there's a wave pushing me back and forth, and I honestly have
no idea how to raise the 'wave.' Any replies would of course be much appreciated  :-D

Hello fellow AP'ers! I have no posted on the forums for a very long time but something drew me back and I had a very strong urge to post
my experience.

I went to bed with the intention to Astral Project, I even said to myself a couple affirmations, I laid down
and relaxed but this time it was different than the others. After about 5 minutes of laying down my eyes started to open,
or at least they felt like they were, now keep in mind I was in a dark room with no light source what soever and the only sound was my
AC running in the background. So my eyes started twiching almost, and about 2 minutes after that I started seeing lights and my
inner sound (Ringing in the ear) got louder and now I noticed in the background that my AC had a much lower tone than before.

All of a sudden I felt my body detach yet my eyes were still closed, but it was as if someone had turned on a light
and a bright light was behind my eye lids, I was amazed at how bright this was, I was a bit strartled and woke up to find myself in my dark room, with no lights.

Any ideas if these bright lights are symptoms or any tips on how to increase the vibrations? I was in this state of bright lights for a while, I was not sure what to do.

when you are noticing things, isn't that like thinking random thoughts, so me noticing a flash of white in the blackness is making me think.. doesn't the body pick something like that up ;o?

I Want to get more submerged into the topic.  :-D

Ok so I posted yesterday saying how much of a difficult time I was having AP'ing, but I found a break through last night, which totally helped!

I tried the Triangle Method (I read it somewhere on here), because I can hear the "SSSSS" sound super clearly (You should be able to hear it too, its like white noise, sort of.).

I went to bed, and fell asleep; When I woke up I had sleep paralysis (I woke up from a dream, that's why), I then did the Triangle Method. I felt my chest start to vibrate, but it started to fade away!! That's the only problem I have, when the vibrations come, I think I get exited or something like that.

I think it's a start, because I just learned the method a day ago, and that same night I got sleep paralysis when I had woken up!!  :-D :-D :-D

Also, it was around 4:35 when I had woke up, which is good, because it was a morning session, which is waay easier than a night one!!

I've been trying this for a year now, and I have had only 2 OBEs that I could remember, and they were both like 6 seconds long!!

Here is what I do: I lay in bed, relax my whole body, clear my mind, BUT I always end up falling asleep or getting frustrated and go to sleep.

Lately I have been doing it in the morning because I heard that helps, no success, I try to raise my khundalinis, and all that gives me is a head-ache, and I try lucid dreaming into OBEs but that still doesn't work!!

The two experiences I had were on accident! I am not scared of leaving my body!!

Can someone please give me advice on what I am doing wrong? Any links to any sort of helpful information would be much appreciated!! (Free would be nice!)

Welcome to Dreams! / Selling me soul?
March 23, 2012, 03:29:55
Ok well, I had a dream yesterday, and it was very vivid.

I was in some shopping plaza, and their was an old man with a brown coat, and he asked me if I wanted
to sell my soul for money, I remember saying yes and walking in the plaza with him. He then brought me to my house
all of a sudden, where I was on my computer, and he was next to me. I then woke up sweating, it all seemed so real.

I'm not scared, but I was wondering, could it be some sort of sign?

Ok so, a regular AP session for me is like this:

I put some headphones on and listen to some Binural Beats at 5.5/6.5 hz and I start to just relax (while in bed)

I then get a falling sensation a couple minutes later and get a buzzing feeling, but at that point I start to drift away,
making me fall asleep.

I haven't had many successful APs, only about 4 out of about 50 are succesful. 2 out of those 4 were on accident.

Any tips on how I can get better at not drifting away?

:? :?

Can someone explain to me how this works, the days that I least think about astral projection seem to be the most active days for me.

I don't understand how to achieve something by not trying.

:? :?

Today I tried smoking green tea for the first time, because I heard that it relaxes the body, Boy it sure relaxed me, right now as I type this I'm very relaxed, Might try it later for OBEs.

It's very nice because the smoke is short lived, as longa s you have a pretty well ventilated area, It is all good.

I found myself going to bed at 10:00 PM since it had been a long day. I woke up at 2:00 AM wondering why I had woken up, I paid it no mind
and went back to bed (with a little intention to astral project, just like every night) but this time I didn't get what I was looking for.

I woke up in the middle of my room, and the lights were flickering on and off, then they just shut off. I remember wondering the hall ways of my house,

I'm not sure if I had achieved a aware AP, because I only remember bits and pieces of it.

My vision was not blury, but it was like black (when you stand up real fast, and you see a lot of different colors and your like dizzy, sort of, except it was black.)

I then woke up in my bed. Not sure what to think of it, could of been a semi-aware astral project.

I was totally sure I was dreaming, but for some reason I couldn't lucid dream, or was I lucid dreaming but making it seem like I wasn't??

Can someone help meee >.<

I was in my hosue, and I was in the kitchen, everything looked so realistic, I then went into the living room
where I lied down. Then in my dream I started to have these crazy vibrations, but it wasn't a high pitched buzz,
it was a VERY low pitched buzz that hurt my ear at first. I felt as if someone was talking to me. It was so weird  :|
#16
It has been a while since I was on the forum. And it has also been
a while since I had my OBEs.

Just looking back at how easy it was over
the summer time and now with school, music, and many other things in my life
it has made it difficult to have/try one.

Now when ever I do try and have them I end
up falling asleep. Could this be a test? To see if I am strong or is my lifestyle
dictating whether or not I have a OBE? I seem to be very lost. I do have Lucid Dreams thought;
So that is a good thing but as for OBEs (specifically), I have not had one. Has this happened to anyone else?
And if so can you tell me how I can work my way through this?
#17
I was tired but I thought that I could try my luck at a quick AP session, so as I laid
in bed, all of a sudden I heard this very high pitched sound coming from my right ear.

It did not hurt but I thought that it should of been hurting. I then felt my whole
body feel like water, no tension, no weight, just there. I almost left my body, but I fell asleep -_-

This has to be one of my best lucid dream sessions ever, during my session I found myself in bed. I thought to myself

"This is taking longer than it usually does.." but the weird part was.. I was already sleeping.. I remembered that when I went to
bed I turned off the lights, so I got out of bed and when I got out of bed,
I  found myself go through the floor! I was in my basement.

so I flew back up to my room, I remember when I went back to my room the window was open and it seemed as if leaves from the outside trees
(I also saw the wierdest bird EVER! He was brown and had a backtail that curved like a pigs tail with the little spiral, man that made me giggle )

where scattered all over the floor, I then saw a shadowy figure right at my bed, I didn't freak out but I just grabbed the figure from the robe
and it disappeared. I thought about school and all of a sudden I found myself at school arguing with a friend and she wanted to fight me because
she was mad about something.. I don't remember what, but during my dreams I could recall my MMA, so even if we would of fought, I would have been
able to

It was so vivid and real, I heard that people use lucid dreams to astral project, If so can someone give me a link/technique to going from a lucid dream to a astral projection that would be awesome!  :-D

I was reading the guide on phasing from Ryan's site, and I got a bit frustrated.
There is one part where it says if you notice on the outer edge of your vision, it helps keep your mind
active. So I tried this but my eyelids keep opening or my attention goes right back to the center -_-
Can someone help me  :?

I haven't done APing for about a week, and I tried to do it now but when ever I try I end up falling asleep. I'm not tired I just randomly fall asleep during my sessions.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Sort of -_-
September 15, 2011, 19:18:48
Well I tried to astral project but it was a bit weird, so I ended up trying to project and it went on for what seemed to be 30 mins and then I felt my

awareness become more dull, so I knew that my mind was getting a bit sleepy, so I started noticing on what was happening around me, all of a sudden

the sounds got dull and then it felt like my bed was made of rubber and I started to feel vibrations in my right arm.. it felt as if my right hand had a pulse and

every time it pulsed I could feel my astral hand come out.. this went on for a couple of minutes but then I decided not to finish the practice and I touched my

hand and it felt NUMB.. like really numb so that was weird.. I think I am getting the hang of APing, I just have to follow through with everything.  :-)

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / I don't get it..
September 15, 2011, 01:17:16
I had my first AP without intent but when I try and do it I fail..

I did nothing out of the ordinary so I have no idea why I cannot do it.

I fell asleep, woke up without moving and then I felt the vibrations, so I have no idea
why I can't do it again.. any help  :|
#23
My intentions where not  to have a AP because I had school the next day.. but I found myself waking up at

3 AM and I went back to bed, I then woke up but did not move and I also had my eyes closed.. I then started to get these massive vibrations
as if my body was moving, and I also could hear the buzzing so I knew what was happening. I ignored them at first
but they got so intense that I thought I was being shaken and all of a sudden I felt wavy and then I felt my self
come out of my body.. it was amazing.. I then found myself outside of my body but I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or
if I was in the astral realm.. I then thought something and I heard my self say it as if I had physically said it..

I started thinking about bears and a bear appeared, I then thought of a shotgun and I shot it because I thought it was going to attack me..
I then saw the strangest thing ever! My mom was wearing a dress and as I looked at the roof I saw her floating there then she appeared closer...

I think I might of started off in the astral realm, but I forgot to stay there by doing some hand rubbing and what not..

So I then found myself in my body snapped back in.. the vision was the same as you and I see right now, maybe a bit brighter
but that was about it. I felt so drained out of energy through out the whole day.. But the experience was memorable and I hope I can do it again!  :-D

Actually I think my mom was APing without her even noticing, hence why she must of not remembered her on the roof..

While in a OBE can you practice skills?

So if I play the piano in real life, can I practice playing the piano
while having a OBE.. aha I heard this somewhere and I just wanted to
clarify.

There is so much "rant" about how AP opens your body up for spiritual possession/demonic possession. I can't see that
being the case, because if you sleep and you have a lucid dream and "accidentally" leave your body.. well lets just say there
would be many cases about spiritual possession going around everywhere

So I want YOUR opinion.. because majority rules  8-)

Do you think AP opens your body up to demonic possession while in the astral plane? or is it just a lot of TALK

Welcome to Quantum Physics! / Time.. a perception?
September 01, 2011, 15:49:38
Now, it has gone to my attention that some people think that time is a perception
I am not against anyone that thinks that, but the reason I disagree with this theory is because

If time is a perception in our heads, that means length has to be a perception also but that cannot be possible,
because if it were possible than we could travel great distances with just one footstep!

Also, time and length are technically artificial, in a way.. because we "made" time and we "made" length, now; some people
confuse are time (like 12:37 PM) with REAL TIME (live things occurring all at once, love, hatred, and so on.)
So that being said, that means that most things would have to be a perception, for instance: math

A universal language that anyone can/should understand; one pencil is still ONE pencil in other languages, it wont be 324 pencils, it would still be 1 pencil.

So we cannot say that is a perception either, because its not something in your head, a pencil is right in front of you and its still ONE pencil.

Length: we measure it in ft, cm , mm, m and many different sort of categories for length, if things are a perception in our head than explain to me why is it that when I take one step forward, I don't travel across the ocean and only travel IN FRONT of where I was originally stationed.

Everyone can believe what they want  but if time can be a perception in our head.. well than we "control" physics.. which we are not even capable of doing.. (yet )

Again, as I mentioned before, I am not against anyone who believes  that time is a perception, I am just explain my theory on why I think it is not.

Have a good day!  :-P

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Vibrations
September 01, 2011, 15:26:28
Ok well I haven't been posting because I went to camp, but while I was there I did try AP!
I brought my MP3 Player to listen to some Isochronic sounds, as I was listening to then I felt light
and the only way I can explain vibrations is how the ocean is pulled to shore than pushed back in..
basically like a wave; My hand felt wavy like water.. sort of

Also while in my session I drifted into sleep and found
myself in a dark alley. As I walked through the dark alley, I slipped!
At that same moment I woke up to find my right leg twiching.. lol!
#28
I have no problem waking up in the morning, but when I wake up I might
move  a bit and will open my eyes, but I do know what to do when I wake up I just
mess up with the whole moving thing; any ideas on how to stay still when waking up
in the morning?  :?
#29
When I sleep; I tend to sleep on my belly, so when I try OOBEs and APs should I do them on my belly? :?
#30
Ok so I have been trying to do astral projection for about 2 weeks now, and every time I do this (which is like 2 times to 4 times a day, this is done in the morning btw) I do breath counting, so I do 100 breathes and then my body goes numb and then my breathing gets really heavy and I start to feel as if I'm falling or my body is moving foward.. in a way  :? so when I reach the part where I try and visualize the room next to me, or any room for that matter, I cant get it to work!

Also during my session I get twitches (like my muscles twich in random spots) and itches!!  :-( Can someone tell me how I can control this and a good technique that would work for me??

I have been trying the rope technique for a little bit but I can't get that to work, I have also tried the technique where you try and roll over so the pushing makes your astral body come out, or something like that :P So I just do 100 breath counts then visualize the room next to me (like my bathroom) and supposedly that will make you float out of your body and astral project!

Can someone please tell me whats going on lol! I'm not sure if its normal or if its just me ._.
