i think lucid dreams and OBEs are more or less the same myself...

but i theorize that lucid dreams and OBEs take place in a higher place of.... umm... universalness to it, whereas normal dreams tend to be confined to *mainly* your own mind.

but yes none of my OBEs seem very realistic in comparison to the real world, usually... i think that's normal?

I've never actually been into the PHYSICAL before myself, I suppose it's possible, but I've just never really been an 100% accurate version of my room before.

Hi Kinjari!
Let me be the first to welcome you to the forums!  It sounds like you are uneducated on a lot of this, (which is fine, we all start that way!) and it will be very important for you to read about this and learn what you experienced.  Whether you realize it or not, based on what you described; you have the natural ability to induce OBE's.

Many of us, including myself are working very hard to do what you did the other night.  It's important to realize that there is nothing to be afraid of.  Basically what you experienced was an out of body "exit" procedure.  The roll-over that you are referring to is a very popular technique amongst astral projectors, as a powerful technique of seperating yourself from the physical.

You encountered what I encountered my first time.  The fear of those sensations and what was happening to you.  From here, (if you truly desire) it is important to explore and experiment with these new experiences.  Learn from them, and step by step, realize there is nothing to be afraid of.

I highly recommend reading Robert Bruce's Treatise on OOBE's.  It is on this webpage, http://www.astralpulse.com , in the download section.  You will see a lot of published articles from Robert Bruce.  Find the "Treatise" and read it.  It's around 120 pages.. but it will answer a lot of your questions.

I hope this helps you on your spiritual adventures!

Good luck!
