hi,

I have been using visualization to try to A.P.

"I visualize that my consciousness is 'transferred" into a astral vessel and from there I go into a room and in that room there is a door which leads me to the astral, and I keep flying towards the end of that hallway, towards a light..."

Using that visualization I can get to feel little sparks of vibrations, or electricity from my knee and below, and some times in my left arm too.

Could I get any advice which would help me to move forward in this process?

so the other night i was trying a method i found about reaching SP, its just keeping your eyes open until they start closing by themselves and then you just open then right when you are falling asleep, and what this is suppose to cause you is SP still being awake.

i tried, and during the last minutes that i was trying it, right before i would fall asleep, my eyes closing, and i would be drifting into sleep, right there i could felt a small "electrical" discharge on my spine, but it was not so electrifying, but it felt like it.

is that how conscious sp feels like before it paralyses you?

i lay down on my bed for a while to take a nap, and put on Condicion D, Journeys O.O.B.E. and i already know what it does to my body,

but this time when i woke up i kept my eyes close (lately i keep my eyes close when i wake up <.<! idk why) and saw like a house in the

woods in front of the blackness of my eyes, and then when i tried to focus on the image, it started fading away <.<!

i dont know why but i keep getting "the last image of my dreams, when i wake up", and stays in the blackness, i have try to go back to

the dream but havent get lucky enough to go back... for now  8-)

ok,

now im trying with the first method that got me to the vibrational state: the mantra "faraon", and so far its making me vibrate from my feet to the knees.

the vibrations are not so strong, the are like kind of sparks.

i found out a way to increase the vibes but not to the point where they are very strong, beside i need them to keep going up my body.

also i noticed that if i imagine that from my knee to my feet i move that part out of my physical body the vibes stop until i put the astral limbs back into the physical body again.

im going to keep trying until they cover me.

any suggestions?

so i was thinking about going back to when i first felt the AP vibrations, to do what i was doing before i felt the vibrations... using the mantra Faraon 7_7...

(yes, i know that the mantras just keep your mind focus, nothing else about it, but hey it worked back then, for some reason)

i lay down on the floor with my head to the north (because my bed points to the west/east) then for 40 minutes i was repeating Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaooooooooooon, nothing happened, so i decided to get up and go to bed to sleep...

then laying down on my bed, laying on my stomach i kept repeating the mantra Faraon for a while until i started noticing that my feet got heavy, i couldnt almost feel them then i started noticing the they were vibrating but not too strong, and not too weak (but more weak than strong)(but those vibrations were not as strong as i felt them the first time i felt the ap vibrations), for a second i thought that that vibration was actually that some of my veins where been block since i had part of my feet on the edge of the bed, but then i thought that since i was feeling them heavy they were actually AP vibrations, so then i tried to increase the vibrations with my will but nothing happened, then i try to extend them through my legs but i just got them to the knee.

After a while trying to extend them, since they couldnt pass my knees then i just stopped and got out of bed.

the end.

im just going to try later, again.

i have been wondering: before you start vibrating is you body totally paralyze or partially paralyze?

i have experience it partially paralyze, but im just wondering if your bodies are totally paralyze  :?

sometimes when im laying down and resting, or just woke up i can feel/hear for 1/2 second in my hears and sometimes body,  the buzzing sound of the vibrations, or feel a bit, bit of pressure on my body and sometimes i can feel the vibrations spreading from some point in my body but they just happen when im focus on some particular thought and desire i dont know how to explain it, it like an specific thought triggers it. but more often i can feel/hear several times for 1/2 the buzzing in my hears when im laying down without no intention of AP.

why is that?

i have been practicing phasing following Xanth's Phasing Primer instructions and i have been learning to notices and no get distracted at the blackness of my eyes and then noticing in the back of my eyes (<o <o) so its cool i have been doing since this morning, but this afternoon i was doing the first two practices on noticing and while i was noticing i felt asleep and have a dream then i woke up and wrote it, then stated noticing again i had another dream and woke up and wrote it, ...

then again i started noticing in the back of my eyes and suddenly i was dreaming, and there was a girl with grey hair and the background of my eyes or in the back of my eyes!/? (in the blackness), with dark eyes, and  dark eye liner, she was smiling i think, she look nice, and then i voice said "you must know how to make a identical double that you can recognize when you see it, and you must know how to perfect kiss..." and then i woke up, and wrote what i remember.

the only part that i dont get is the "perfect kiss", maybe it was referring to know who to AP perfectly, or maybe was something else <.<!

Yesterday, during the whole day i was doing my reality check eery 15 minutes or when i see something weird as normal, did some exercise before bed while i kept repeating myself "whats the mission? to have LD, whats the objective? to recognize that im dreaming" <.<! just to me sure that my mind remembers to check.

I took one B12 vitamin before bed and try to fall asleep but i never actually felt a sleep as long as i remember, not until like 5 am when i had a dream of which i only remember the end of it, and then i took some melatonin to try to fall asleep because its almost morning and then i felt asleep and had a strange dream, nothing out of normal, not like the other 3 random dreams in one dream.

Then i remember what Xanth said about meditation and ok decided to "meditate" for a while (that was my cover up to try to AP without telling my body xDDD) so i spent 1hour (yay, doubled my time laying down doing nothing xDDDD) and decided to go with the must basic technique i have ever read before "let the body relax by itself, and just focus on your point of awareness" and so i did, and even though i got distracted a couple of time i went back to my point of awareness until a couple of times i realize that i was just focus on it and that it but when i realized i was thinking that i was doing it xDD so i was not focus on it anymore, but i stick to it and kept focusing on it, i even felt a sleep for a second but i came back and focus on it, even when i was thinking something else i just kept thinking on my point of awareness.

After 1 hour, i just decided to turn over, and try to fall asleep, then i was thinking about the last dream i had, and suddenly i could hear the sound in my ear increasing for a second every time i was focusing on remembering a part of the dream, but i had drank too much water and that was not going to let me focus xDDD but hey, i spent a hour sticking to my point of awareness with the fail and try method xDD and after it i could for a second hear the increase of sound in my ear, thats a progress  8-)

...too bad i couldnt have random dreams.

continuing with my research about understanding my mind signal in my dreams to help me to become lucid i thought about a wonderful idea "why not read myself a bed time story while im falling asleep" and so i did u_u! i wrote a story and i read it to myself (from the memory, but i actually wrote it on paper, just how it begins and then i continue the rest of the story in my mind).

the whole point is to lucid dream, or induce a lucid dream.

while i was telling myself the story of a dreamwalker, who dream within a dream, and in his dreams he was aware that he was dreaming, and there also was a cat and snake that can talk and they would remind him that he is dreaming so he would stay lucid the whole time while he is dreaming.

During the first 10 minutes i stated telling myself the story i stated seen things, kind of going into dream scenes for 2 or 3 seconds and snapping out of them, hearing sounds, you know the normal signs that you are falling asleep, i even felt my body waving for a while like i was jelly in a container moving.

...but it didnt last long before something interrupted me 7_7. But as a result of my experiments: i got to the point where i would feel something heavy on my chest (i know that is just the relaxation, but that feeling is good cuz im falling asleep), among other feelings. and for some reason after 30 minutes of laying down my body always starts to get annoyed and make move, but im working on it.

Tell yourself a bed time story with you fall asleep is not that bad. im gonna keep trying.

so taking the advise of David Warner, but still keep trying consciously to exit. i have come across one peculiar kind of dream: i do not really change scenarios in mu dreams, they always stick to the same region or area, or story line until i wake up, but lately i have been having this dreams where im in a place now, and then in another place out of nowhere like it happened before when i realized that i was dreaming, and protected myself.

i have been analyzing my trying to figure out what does trigger the "aaah, this is a dream, i get it!" and i have go through old experiences in the past and compare with the recent lucid dream where i had the wild, and this last dream i had just now and i have come to the conclusion that the latest 2 dreams that have been changing from scenario to scenario have been created by my mind!! who knew!? xD but whats so special about this dreams? is that my mind tries to scare the [censored] out of me or make me angry to make me gain lucidity>

i explain myself: reviewing past dreams and also lucid dreams i have come across a one thing in common that makes me notice that im dreaming and makes me wake up at will or do something else in the dream and that thing is that when im in danger and i cant win a fight in my dreams for some reason i realize that im dreaming (the ultimate opponent its myself!! thats something that i hold in my mind to do not be intimidate by anything that i see here or in my dreams xDD).

so fear, or anger makes me gain lucidity, now using those two words and putting comparing them with my last 2 (lets call my last two dream "Random Dreaming or RD")

in both dreams i had have been jumping from scenario to scenario for no reason.

RD i have notice that in the first RD where i gain lucidity the reason why i gain lucidity was because i saw something in my house and i request it to leave the house and it sat down on a chair in a way that it was challenging me and i just lost control of myself and almost went through the frontdoor even though it was close, but before "it" was leaving, it smile at me (then when i woke up i realized that it was not a real "it" (lets just call it "it" i dont want to say what it was xp) and i noticed that that was my mind, and not a real "it" then something triggered the sentence "i want to be in astral" and puff i was there before i could even realized.

also comparing to my last as well as a have been jumping from scenario to scenario, and dreaming on each of those scenarios something that i do not usually dream >.> zombies, snakes? and Jesse Eisenberg? wtf?? what kind of dream is that? xDDD but i didnt gain lucidity  in that dream :/

there was a scenario in my RD dream that i have been thinking of: when i saw the snake, the owner of the snake told me that the snake can communicate by sign language, and that leads me to the next paragraph V

however, i have been thinking about a way to understand my minds "road signs" xDDD and i have come to a possible way to react in the moment while im dreaming those kind of dreams RD what im going to do now is that after writing down my the dream specially RD dreams because for some reason i can remember them better than the other dreams, im going to play the dream in my head as i remember or whatever and in the moments where i was afraid of something or felt anger im gonna imagine that im saying "aahh, this is a dream" and im going to say "i want to be in the astral" or something besides kicking whatever is after me, butt 7_7 like that so my awareness does what im imaging while im awake during my dream.

in summary, fear or anger makes me gain lucidity during my dreams, or it is the way my mind to tell me "hey, you are dreaming" and by understanding this kind of communication through fear and anger (by the way im not a coward or angry kind of person) i can recognize that im dreaming, and the way i "can do that" is by playing the dream in my head after i wrote it down and during those awkward moments of fear or anger or wtf? imaging that im realizing that im dreaming and controlling the scenario at will.

i was listening to a tape of a guy telling that im going to be conscious in my dream, that im going to lucid dream (im brainwashing my head xDD) and i kind of felt asleep probably after 30 minutes listening to the tape, and i could feel myself bouncing with the waves of the binaural beat, and all that happened in 40 minutes.

then, for 30 minutes i was laying down on my bed imaging a landscape, and while i was doing it, i was telling myself "look at the water, look at the tree, feel the grass, put your head under the water, look at the fish, you at the sky" so i could keep my mind focus on the landscape i could see a bit of light through my eyelids and one or two things.

then i changed positions, and lay down on my stomach, like i was going to sleep, and then i imagined an eye and focused on it, and when i got distracted i would remind myself to look at it and i would say "look at the eye, dont lose the eye from your attention", i again i could see light through my eyelids, and one or two weird things that popped out of nowhere, then i turned my attention to the piiii sound in my ear, and all that happened in another 30 minutes.

physically my body was very relaxed, and numbed, heavy, but where are the vibrations?

how can i get the vibrations?  :?

so i have been brainwashing my head for the last 5 or 6 days "am i dreaming?" tossing a coin, pinching myself until i got a red stop on my skin 7_7, looking at my hands...

so today i set at my alarm at 3 and 6 am.

listen to some dude on youtube about im lucid dreaming for 30 minutes around 1pm, i was getting there but not quite needed to be more focus.

went to sleep, dont remember what i dreamed.

woke up cuz of the alarm, listen to guy again, got tired of listening after idk how long lol, went back to sleep

so i was there dreaming, back in my middle school for some reason trying to go inside the school... then i was in my old house listening to a friend of mine arguing with his mom about missing classes... then i was front door of my old house and i was looking in thought the front metal door, and i saw feathers going in my moms old room, then i was it again in the living room, then i saw someone with a pink gown, not to large, then i noticed what it was 7_7 and i asked it what it was doing in my house, and it sat down on a chair next to the table, when i got mad and tried to get it, it flew through the ceiling and it stopped for a second to look at me, but then i just said "oh!!, i want to be in the astral"

and bang next thing i know is that i have the feeling of being flying above my body (i didnt feel any vibrations or hear sounds), but i couldnt quited focus enough to keep myself out, i was trying to focus on my room but my vision/mind? went literally >white<? and then i felt myself coming back into my body.  8-)

xDDD and i remember the whole dream, and wrote it down. xDDD

now i just need a back up plan to stay stable next time i try to get AP from the dream xDDD

but i still want to consciously AP 7_7, now i see how serious is my lack of focus D:< its time for some serious training.

by the way i took one 5mg melatonin  pill before sleep, i heard that it helps to lucid dream, but i didnt lucid dream until the 2nd time i went back to sleep...

so i have been practicing relaxing my body just for fun in the night every 3 hours, and last night i tried to AP using a delta binaural beat and instead of focusing on my point of awareness i just visualized a pendulum swinging side to side (since the binaural beat was passing though my head like a wave, i thought that i could use that to my advantage and make the pendulum swing with the wave and my eyes would not follow it, and it worked but i need more focus),, then i thought about something that would keep my head busy... and stated saying "Laaaaaaaaaaaaa, Laaaaaaaaaaaa, Laaaaaaaaaa, ...(infinite)" which also worked distracting me from my physical body for a while.

then i had a dream (my 2nd dream of the morning) in which i was at the house where i grew up, and my aunt introduced me to Robert A. Monroe? (i looked for his pic and they didnt look the same xDDD,, damn it, why didnt i think about aping when she said his name xDD) and we even talked about the mantra that i was using 7_7 (gain didnt think about APing u_u!, oh well), but i dont remember exactly what we talked about about the mantra "la" (just to keep my mind busy).

now, i have a doubt: would there be a problem with this "La,La,La,..." in my head xD constantly (im teaching my self to keep saying "la,la,la..." disassociating my mind voice with how much air i have in my lungs (when we physically talk, we can only talk as long as we have air in stomach/lungs)), would it not disturb my mind brain waves, or anything such a constant "la,la,la,laaaaa,laaaaa,laaa,...(infinite)" ?

and what do you think about pendulum swinging?

so i went to bed and laydown on the opposite side where i sleep (as i read on one of Franks posts) so my mind doesnt thinks about sleeping.

i started by just letting the body relax, then i use the fall sensation and BOOM, felt into a decent trance, my body got heavy then i tried to focus where my awareness is behind the eyes and suddenly i stated seeing an image of a WarCraft picture that i saw just a couple of minutes on facebook, but i tried to ignored it when my eyes ONCE AGAIN stated the rapid eye movement 7_7 then i stated getting tense, just my head, and my heart chakra activated itself AGAIN 7_7 and the beat grew strong then i stopped, but then i had to stop the beat of the physical heart too (i just commanded myself and thats it). then my heart started sending blood to my ears and my eyes got tense while the rest of my body was still in trance.

Then i stated using energy to start the vibration sensation but after a while i stated noticing that i could feel my astral hands moving in and out so i decided, energized the whole arm and then the other arm and actually it felt pretty real like a real physical arm and tried the rope method but i was too tense, so i decided to get out of the trance and relax for a bit xDDDDD.

im going to try again in a while.

any suggestions for the rapid eye movement?

ok, i have been asking this questions for years!!!

i can feel like chills?, static?, kind of vibrations in my body while im physically awake. what is this, why does it happens?


i can at will produce small sparks of vibration on my hand.

sometimes when i get a feeling, happy, sad, discovered something, etc i can feel like a small vibration or electrical static in parts of my body or the whole body. sometimes i can do that at will and increase those vibrations with my will.

Once i remember that i was talking to a friend and she told me something that i used to remind her a lot, when she told me that those words had a lot of meaning for her, suddenly it was like my "body" bust a bean of energy out of nowhere, that has passed me before in other occasions but not at will.

but this vibrations are not like the AP vibrations.

it started happeninig to me more frequently after my first AP vibrational state (4 years ago) (which was very intense, but i couldnt get out of my body cuz i wasnt relaxed :\ ) after that day i would vibrate even when i was doing other stuff like doing hw, or exercising but then they stop after a couple of days and now is hard for me to get to the vibrational state, sometimes i can vibrate when im doing some meditation and then relax but it is not something that i can induce at will.

i do meditation, i play with energy a lot, i can do other stuff with it, but getting to the vibrational state before AP it has become harder since the first time, the same with falling into theta trance level, since the first time i induced my self into such a deep state of trance i havent been able to do it again, just getting close to the alpha trance level.

can it be that those vibrations are the same as vibration produced before AP, or possibly (as i suspect) are normal energy vibrations?

This may be a silly question but i have been always told that you cant consciously AP laying down, facing your bed.

Is that true?


or there is any preferable position for AP for example laying down facing up?

i find easier to fall asleep facing down on my bed.

I have been trying to AP how about 4 years, no success yet on a conscious exit (as far as i remember) but i had have lucid dream, and probably been in the astral plane without notice.

I have try visualization, and also reproducing sensations such as falling and sinking through the bed. With the one that i have the best luck is with visualization.

In the beginning i used to feel the vibrations even when i was awake (for some reason, after the first time i felt the vibrations, using a mantra at 3am in the morning, felt asleep and woke up feeling different and then bang if i try to transport i would feel intense vibrations (but i was still in my body, not relaxed xDDD).

I have been trying from time to time: see colors, sometimes i can see a bit of light through my eyelids, other times sounds, sometimes vibrations, sometimes the sensation of my astral body leaving the body but for some reason my head never gets out of my body (not even when someone from the astral plane was pulling me out by my feet, my head wouldnt get out of my body, i was seen this "person" trying to pull me out, but at the end i head won ;_;), i even had eye twitching, like in ram state when i tried to introduce myself in something i have in the astral plane, i have felt the hyper space sensation too, i have had sleep paralysis after waking up from a couple of "dreams", and i lucid dream sometimes (but im not so wise to get out into the astral plane 7_7 keep forgetting).

my technique:

1st relax using my mind or giving commands to my body: heart beat reduced, muscles mostly relaxed (eyes and head give me some trouble sometimes)

2nd then I visualize myself out of my body walking around the room, flying, or going somewhere

3rd nothing happens or i fall asleep.   

with some techniques using visualization i can feel my astral body moving , with other techniques i cant feel anything.

can somebody give me some advice, please.
