Welcome to Astral Chat! / Kamelot
June 26, 2002, 08:04:31

    Greetings people.

I'm a big fan of music, I love almost every kind. I 've been playing bass and guitar for 8 years now(give or take). Anyways, the reason why i'm posting this, is to share some music with you all.Not normal music, but music that deal with metaphisical lyrics.  I 've been listening to a band named kamelot for a few years now. There last album deals with all kind of things pertaining  to astral, karmic issues and such concepts.

I highly enjoy this band they are great musician and song writters, but you people can be the judge of that. If you feel interested to learn about this band...well...just ask me some questions or go pick it up at your nearest music store.

Hears the lyrics from two of the songs(read on if interested). if any of you know of similiar stuff let me know thx ...                          Paul

                                                  Karma

I am a king of honorgold and glory
but every king must also die
have I been just and righteous
what is glory
I know I've torn and taken life
and here I stand
a small and simple man

who will trade his karma for my kingdom
a sacrificial rite to render truth
the fire in my soul rejects my wisdom
cause all you do in life comes back to you

I am a king in crisis
counting minutes
there is an ending to my reign
my sins have come to face me
I can feel it
that I have lived my life in vain
and now I know I'll reap
the seeds I've sown

who will trade his karma for my kingdom
a sacrificial rite to render truth
the fire in my soul rejects my wisdom
cause all you do in life comes back to you

am I mad
I feel so void and cold
who can tell
who holds the stories untold
tired and trembling
I am descending
will I have to stay here
and live this life again

.                                             Wings Of Despair

sometimes my visions
are distant and vague
down at the base
of the mountain
once in a while I am
weak and afraid
tired and sick of it all
I don't believe
that my story is set
nothing is destined
or blatant
bound to this body
a world full of hate
no one will heed if I fall

no one can see it
but you know that it's there
guiding the steps of your soul
holding the truth
in the cross that you bear
die with a heart that is bold

fly on the wings of despair
no one is holding you back
the call of the wild is internal
conquer the silence you fear
tomorrow will not fade to black
a new day is dawning
remember
no one's controlling your fate

the questions are more
than the answers I know
that doesn't mean you are lonely
searching for more
consecutive goal's
making it worth to go on

no one can see it
but you know that it's there
guiding the steps of your soul
holding the truth
in the cross that you bear
die with a heart that is bold

fly on the wings of despair
no one is holding you back
the call of the wild is internal
conquer the silence you fear
tomorrow will not fade to black
a new day is dawning
remember
no one's controlling your fate

you, and you alone
is forging the path
leave your sorrows with the past

never believe
that the story is set
nothing is destined
or blatant
bound to this body
a world full of hate
no one will heed if you fall

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Star of life
July 15, 2002, 09:41:41
Recently I read that the 11 year sunspot cycle is our sun's breathing in and out. In more purely scientific texts, there is talk about stars having lifespans and dying eventually.

Hi --

I have not oobied as yet.  I, my family and friends, have done some successful remote viewing.  I have a video seminar by Sean David Morton (www.delphiassociates.org) who was in the graduate class with Dr. Targ at Stanford.  Actually we experimented with remote viewing the winners of horse races at the Hilton Sportsbook in Reno.  We used Morton's "peg" system.  If you read Robert Bruce's account in PRACTICAL PSYCHIC SELF-DEFENSE of visioning himself, older, wearing glasses, looking at a book and waving to his younger self (the spontaneous remote viewer), that feels like this experience.  It is REMEMBERING the future.  You have a "pegged" or novel experience which you have prepared to receive beforehand.  OK, how does it work at the Sportsbook?  I went into the Hilton casino and picked one of the races that day which was booked for 5 or 6 horses.  Before the gate time, we gathered out in the parking lot in our van.  We designated a time in the future when we would view a novel graphic clipped from a magazine or where ever.  We stipulated that the graphic that would be revealed at that future time after the winner of the race was known.  The particular graphic would be associated or "pegged" to which ever horse would be the actual winner.  OK, out in the van BEFORE the race there were 5 or 6 large envelopes "pegged" to each horse competing.  A different graphic was contained in each envelope, but not known by any of the viewers.  The viewers would then sketch impressions and list emotional and other sensations.  A facilitator would know what was in each envelope.  The facilitator would review the sketches of the viewers and decide which ONE envelope contained the image most closely described by the viewers.  The horse whose name was on that envelope would be bet.  No matter which horse won, the graphic pegged to that winner would be revealed to the viewers at the designated time AFTER the race.  This team picked a 21-1 winner.  Had a nice lunch.  12 viewers is optimum -- we had 4 or 5 usually.  It works.  More can be written if you're interested.  You can "peg" future stock or commodity price ranges, for example.

Depends what it is you want to do. If it's conscious-exit obe then Gateway Series Wave 1 is the best way forward IMO. Focus 10 (mind awake, body asleep) is a precursor to obe and I can highly recommend it.

Yours,
Frank

LOL.!  I cant beleive i forgot to say this but here i go. Concerning books and such. I'm aware that there are claims that beings from the astral have writen books throught the methode of channelling. if anyone knows of any books like those, please let me know, I've just heard of one called Silver Birch...

sounds like obe stuff, you should read astral dynamics. a few years ago i had nights where i would have 5 of those vibration episodes but never projected until i tried techniques.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Canada eh?

Hello,

I'm from Quebec and have the same problem. We could make our own group to see how we are doing with our OBE training from Robert's book. Not a  big organisation thing,  but we could build a mailing list to exchange email and help one another. We are already three: shadow_xca, focus15 and me.

Heya Paul,

I´m sure for most people its far less fear inducing trying to OBE on dayhours than late night, simply cause of the darkness - what we can not see we more than often fear, simple as that.
I to have problems doing this on day hours cause of the surroundings, I´m sure one can learn to block out the external distraction after a while, but certainly the attempts for the first succesful OBE should be done without any outer distractions, it is hard enough as it is for most of us...  and I don´t know about you, but I have tried to do it in the middle of the day, when on a rare occasion I found peace and quiet..  but for me it just didn´t work at all, I need to do it at night to be able to get in the right "mood" - can´t do it in the mornings either as many recommend...  but I´m sure that many people who  actually manages to find a peaceful quiet place in the middle of the day will find that is the ideal time to practise projection - just not for moi...

As for skydiving, been there -done that...  only once though, but if my economy was brighter and I was living closer to a skydiving club I would probably get me a skydiving certificate (sp?) and do it OFTEN!!   It really was that neat actually...  haven´t had any "clear" OBE yet so I can´t draw any "similarities" really.
I didn´t blank out or anything, but I can relate to the "surreal experience" say the first 5 seconds of the free fall, as well as feeling "high" when down on the ground afterwards...  no one could hear what I said cause I was talking so darn quick I remember.. lol....  they interviewed me on tape as I came down, and if I didn´t remma what I said I wouldn´t understand what I said, can´t wait for my first CLEAR OBE - I wonder how quick I will speak after that one ;)
Anyway, if you get a chance to go skydiving - do it!!!

  Be well //Qui-Gon
