I tried this technique and my opinion is that it may be a good methode except the part that you have to collide your fingers each other.
That makes the enegy feeling a little harder because you get a physical feeling that makes you not feel well the energetic spititual feeling.

Welcome to Magic! / Franz Bardon?
February 26, 2004, 15:48:53
I DO know that the name of Franz Bardon is well respected in occult circles.

With regards to the lethal AP thing, he may be refering to a very hard to do and dangerous form of astral projection where you project your *full self* out of the body.

The technique Bardon talks about (from your description) is a rare type practiced by some yogis etc, where you bypass the double and project fully.

The advantage is that with a proper 'full on' projection, almost identical to what happens at death, you get a stable projection with no fluctuations and are in total control, with full clarity; the resulting AP is meant to be awesome.

This is in contrast to most common forms of AP where it is an astral double that is projected, like a remote control camera if you like, only much better as it makes you feel as if you are really out there.
With common AP everything is much more unstable and hard to control, it takes years of practice, although in time the quality of projections improve.

The downside is that with common AP, there is no risk, as no matter what happens to the double, you are always safely locked inside your body.
Howevever, with 'full-on' AP you really are outside and the link with your body is very tenuous. In fact, any disturbance will break the link causing the body to die. You will be fine but you've lost your body and your current physical incarnation is now over... oops!

This rare type of AP is very difficult to achieve however and only real masters attempt it, making damn sure they are well away from anything which might disturb them; I have heard that disiples will usually stand guard around the person attempting this so that no harm will come to them; it's WAY to risky to do by yourself!

I would recomend staying well away from this type of AP and stick with normal, well known AP and phasing techniques, such as those described by Robert Bruce or Monroe.

Highly doubtful.

My understanding is that death severs the cord, not vice versa.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge than I will quickly debunk this belief.

Hey there neowert, check out the Uberman Sleep Cycle. I found out about it here: http://www.kuro5hin.org/story/2002/4/15/103358/720 Just beware that while it does increase your awake time by helping you achieve the REM stage more quickly it decreases other types of body regeneration, as such you will not be able to put on muscle while on this cycle.

Material projection - I really like that.[:)]
The question did make me laugh, but I certainly wouldn't say it's dumb!

Yes there are beings, in fact entire civilisations that exist in the astral. The big difference between us and them  is that we have both a physical and energy body (could also be described as 'mental' body), where as the denizens of the astral don't have a physical body - thy're pure energy. For this reason, they can contact us in the physical, but generally not become part of it.

I would be interested to know though if anyone here has something of an example where astral entities have lowered their energy / vibration level enough to manifest in a physical form. It may very well be possible, I'm not rally sure!

Regards,
James.

I've gotten myself into situations like this before also. You get energy flowing into a chakra which makes it spin and glow. And the energizing causes a physical sensation at the location of the chakra which makes it difficult to remove your attention from the location. Which, unfortunately, causes the energy to continue to flow there--catch 22. But it's never gone on for weeks in my case. At most, several days. And it's usually the brow chakra with me also.

Have you tried to divert the energy to another chakra? That's what I'd do. Press your four finger tips of one hand into your sternum in order to create a definite physical sensation. Center your attention on that chakra and try to "forget" the sensation in your brow chakra. Keep your attention on the heart chakra and soon the energy will flow there and create a burning sensation there. If your attention starts to wander up to your forehead again, gently but firmly move it back down to the heart chakra area and feel "yourself" exist there (in the heart chakra) instead of the essential "you" being located in the brow and beholding the action of redirecting things into the heart. You want to move "you" into your heart chakra and stay there for a while.

I hope this makes sense--what's probably happening is that "you" (your soul, or something like that...) is actually centered in your brow chakra. And since your consciousness is centered there, you are magnetizing the Kundalini to that chakra in a small way continuously. And since it's causing you pain, you've got to shut it down. I've found personally that if I move my attention to my heart chakra and leave it there long enough, the flow of energy up my spine will be diverted there. And it usually subsides into dormancy automatically more readily from the heart than it does from the third eye chakra. I don't know why. Be sure though that when you do this it's not your third eye looking at your heart chakra--otherwise the energy will just keep flowing to the third eye. Try to feel yourself as a little guy inside your heart chakra. I know this sounds a little silly. But I'm speaking from experience.

You'll get over this. But you've got to teach yourself how to consciously control the flow of this energy in your spine. For now, you've got to get it away from your forhead though.

Sheesh....I can hardly imagine what it feels like after 7 weeks.[:O]
