As for guiding you without really being you, but still similar, I'm not sure if I can. I'll still try though.

As for your sensations, no one has seemed to be able to descibe what these sensations are like other than by touch and sound. You have taken this a step further and describe what these sensations are to your sight. Most people would just say they were just blind or they were awash with color. My question at this point is was the color truely orange, or was it more gold, and were there any other colors (even subtle ones)?

As for your hearing, most people describe more of a buzzing or humming rather than a static. For me I hear a very high pitched tone, similar to the whine a TV makes, which I'm assuming is similar to what you heard.

I'm wondering if you truely felt numb, or could it possibly be that you had feeling all over at once (giving a constant feeling therefore equalling numbness), but for sake of arguement I will accept that you weren't really that focused on whether or not you were truely numb (more interested in the sounds, the fighting adrenaline feeling, and the orange color.

Given the above, could you accurately give a timeline as to when certain things started to happen, or when you specifically noted things and focused on them?

As for the experience, it was 15 seconds long and it seems to have had a major effect on you. Could you describe how you percieved things before this and how you percieve them now (do you feel more distant now, did your beliefs change at all, do you feel more focused, etc)?

Remember, I'm posting what I see here based on helping you progress. Answer only what you want to, but the more open you are to being accurate and true, the more you will gain from posting back. Additionally, your edit2 information doesn't fully align with parts of your preliminary description, such as "completely removed from myself" (I take what you said as wanting to be removed from yourself, but not completely, to the point to where you could hear things louder, but you still recognized being numb and the colors and sounds, etc). That's just what I see (meaning don't accept quotes as being your own to try to explain unexplainable things, try to assess them for yourself COMPLETELY, and take those quotes as general guidelines as to something similar that you would experience *maybe*).

I feel this has gotten a bit long winded for a response, but there are many more facets of accessing a situation more than most people give credit for that can change an experience that you had in subtle ways. Again, just answer what you feel you can, and try to tap into what you remember more deeply.
