From my understanding, Man is God's most beloved, prized creation because of the potential 'corruptibility' of Man's spirit via free will. Man, through freedrom of choice, always has the ability to further God's Plan or to go against it when confronted with a decision in any matter in life; the former statement is the reason why God loves Man over all other creations, as far as I know.

The evidence to backup my conjecture above may be found in religious texts but I can't recall with clarity where I read it.

Can anyone shed some light on this topic and/or disclose the religious text where this can be affirmed?

Sincerely........aissy

I recall asking this same questioh several months back, and I believe the answer is 'yes.'  However, I think I will be much more than a simple VR Projection.  You see, since the LOTR universe is so popular and so widely known, it has probably spawned its own astral realm, created by the total of collected conscious thoughts pertaining to it.  By entering your TV whilst playing Lord of the Rings, you'll most likely slip into the actual LOTR world, rather than your subconscious recreation of it.

I hope that made sense, and more importantly, I hope it helped.

Como,

"Aissy, if your point of this post is to try and change other people's beleive systems, just forget about it because it is not important, by trying to change people's beleive systems you are interfering with their spiritual progress. Let them find the answers on their own, in the end we are all going back to the source and we shall all know the truth.

besides who the hell cares if satan was a Jin or not, you just started the argument out of nowhere."

I'm not trying to change people's belief systems, though you perceive it to be that way. I composed the message in an attempt impart Islam's view on the fall of Iblis(Lucifer). And what is there to argue about? I simply paraphrased a verse from the Koran to elicit Islam's 'take' on the fall of Iblis(Lucifer). Como, I don't mean to offend you but you have no way of knowing what is important to other people's spiritual progress; it's not a good idea to make generalization about what's good for others because your not God. What matters to you doesn't necessarily matter to the whole.
To paraphrase the Koran, "Don't meddle in things in which you have no knowledge."

If you don't appreciate what I wrote, just use common sense and ignore the posting.[:)]

I'm reading a book at the moment for my English class at aschool ("Triage" by Scott Anderson) and one of the characters in the book says "...evil is too easy; life is far more complex. I think you would agree that most are merely weak men caught up in difficult times."

I think this holds some sort of truth to it, even when taken out of context. I think there aren't really any evil people in the world, just those who have suffered psychologically and are trapped.

From my understanding, "negative" entities are there, wether you project or not...  It's just that you notice them more easily if you project.

But, from my lucid dream experiences, I must agree that they seem to switch into "aggressive mode" as soon as I become lucid.  Sometimes I can even stop or postpone an increase of lucidity so that they won't "wake up"...  A bit like if my lucidity level was triggering an hostile switch.

Maybe to become lucid equals opening a (energetical) door to them.

The centre of the Earth is a dimensional portal to the hell dimension of Tartarus, venture there causciously as the portal has been known to suck in many a would be projector who ventures too close to the core.

Read his other book, Practical Psychic Self-Defense ;) or at least go to the article section of his site, and read the "basic counter measures". A psychic attack is grossly an entity from the astral that wants to feed on your energy.

Hello aissy,

Intuition - gut feeling, is probably the most valuable resource we have in these kind of things. Appearences of things in the astral are always subjective, and depend greatly on what your thinking at the time, so I wouldn't try using ideas like looking into the eyes. That might work here inthe physical world well enough, but it isn't as reliable in the astral.

Let your heart tell you what is to be trusted and what isn't.

You mught also want to search back through early posts made by Frank in the OBE forums. He was possibly the most skilled and experienced astral traveller we've had on this forum, and he has spoken of contact with astral beings a few times.

It might be worth pointing out here that Frank never felt cause for concern with any of the beings he met. He always approached astral travel with a feeling of mild curiosity only, and never went in thinking he was going to find one thing or another.

I say this because if you travel into the astral with the thoughts that you are going to meet evil entities, you will more likely than not create that situation yourself.

Regards,
James.

There is no way for us to know. If a neg isnt destroyed it could simply return in a thousand different forms with us none the wiser. Sides from what I hear people can be harmed from illogically powerfull negs or w/e. Sides it seems most likely that its energy could merely be temporarily dispersed as opposed to completely decimated.

That's a good question aissy.  Why do we need so much protection if we can just walk away?  Even if one decided to battle a demon, would it not be more efficient to use an energy ball than some weapon that--as you said aissy--would "melt away?"

I dont beleive anyone has any right to comment on this, if it is true or not EXCEPT robert Bruce, but another theory is this.  I'll tell you what I wanna do first.

I been wanting to try this, sense the first day I been practicing OBE's.  The moment i can fully-consciously project myself and look into my eyes, I wanna know for myself if something happens.  Now what do you think about these apples, If I have no FEAR once so ever! what kind of reaction can I receive from this quote 'infinite' effect, which makes no sense to me.  What will I see? Will I see the meaning of life? will i now know there is no death on earth? the only thing people say is 'WE CANT handle it BLAH!

Well when i finally figure out how to look into my eyes, I am going to do it. and I'll bring you feed back.

i have never had that happen to me cuase if i start to think of something like that i get sent back to my physical body... i think it'd be kind of rare for your subconsious to think something bad and for it to appear. When your APing you are usually more concentrated on "WHOA im flying!" or something so yeah...
