If yes, then...  what do you think about it?

Well, for quite some time now...  like months, I've had a strange focus on this part of my body.  I don't know if this is related to energy work / energy raising ... but I can't see how it couldn't be.

It feel like so much pressure around my neck, and more specifically at the base of my skull.  I often find myself massaging (as best I can) my throat, and the muscles all along my neck -- with heavy pressure, the heavier the better.  Also it feel good when I grab the front of my throat and pinch it, almost like choking myself (I know that sound weird!) but not to the point of restricting air-flow, it is more like crunching the muscles, ligaments, or whatever it is that is around that area (guess I need to look up some anatomy to know really what I'm messing with here.)  And, when I'm with my current lover, I encourage him to grab my neck -- it's not sexually related (as in the whole affixiation / blockage of air that some people get off on) -- but it is more like I just want more pressure around my neck.

I feel like this tightness, blockage, whatever it is, is stopping the energy from flowing up my spine.  I know there is something also to do with the cerebral fluids or whatever...  because I could just press that little spot on the back of head, at the base of the skull, with as much pressure as I can... and it feels soooooo good...  but it is frustrating because I feel like on the brink of "popping" it wide open...

So...   has anybody else experienced anything like this???  Any suggestions on what I can do???

Any help, advice, techniques, etc. would be appreciated.

edited to add:  I know it sounds like I'm talking about two different areas, my neck and the base of my skull ...  but this happens around that entire area, and sometimes I want pressure around my throat, and other times the back of my head...   Anyway, just trying to clarify.

It's been a while since I've ventured around this way.

Just wanted to post a link to a very interesting website.  Typically, I am not a fan of just posting a link without more of an explanation, but I am at work and don't have time to elaborate... Plus, I am not sure exactly how to describe the information compiled here.

I have only begun to explore and read it, but the gist (as I gather) is that this is a pathway/structure/detail for creating a new global-spiritual paradigm. It is very informationally dense, but certainly intriguing. It reminds me actually of attempting to read some of Crowley's works, but more understandable and in-depth. As they claim this ... "results from thirty years of vigourous fission and fusion between the mathematical, geometrical and musical forces of Heaven and Earth."

It's bound to appeal to the mentally-driven (heh, almost said 'mentally challenged') folks like myself, no matter what belief structure you are coming from.

From what I gather: the "people" who wrote this are:

Now, this is a little over my head... but I think that they are re-framing (well, doing more than that actually) evolving human consciousness and spirituality in a new way of intellectualizing and communicating... comparable (and perhaps litterally using) the potential (and freedom of expression) that comes with a linking of minds, something that computer systems and programs (like the internet) are doing... but currently in a mundane way. Imagine the potential if there was a system that we could all "link into" via our consciousness, where there was a certain known order and framework involved. ... though I'm not quite sure if this is what they are ultimately trying for or not...

I have been reading a few "circuits" a week, as it takes some time to digest (and I now only have internet access at work, so I really should be working... heh heh)...

Maybe someone can help me out here.

I believe, like many others, that Fear is the opposite of Love.   This would make sense, in terms of balance and polarity.   However, why is it that everything I've encountered (i.e. books, websites, etc.) that relate to spirituality and the human condition postulates that LOVE is Truth.  How can Love be Truth... and not Fear?   How can Love be "stronger" than Fear???  Why is it that "light" will prevail over "darkness"?

Do you see what I'm getting at here?  Why the exception?   If "God" is "Love"...  where does that leave Fear?

Hope I'm making sense, and if not, I can certainly try to clarify... but I'd love to hear some other's thoughts on this.

It's not the speed of light limit, the second law of thermodynamics, or being a slave to gravity that makes the 3rd dimension seem so unfulfilling, it's the fact that so many people here are irritatingly dull. They're satisfied to work 9 to 5 day in and day out and fall asleep drooling on their couch watching liars on TV.

For me one of the prime motivations for projecting is to make myself more well-rounded and try to shake the people I love free of their consumer-culture stupor.

I would definitely be letting them down if I didn't try to get them to discover on their own how vapid and stagnant their lives are compared to what they could be.

Being free of physics is fun but being free of mass social boredom is divine.

Why do anything?

I attempt to do it because it excites me. It's all about gaining knowledge and wisdom. It's about trying answering questions that cannot be answered any other way.

The way i see it, the physical plane is only one part of life, why deny myself of the rest of it? []
