Hey guys

I was listening to my discman last night while i was in bed, and i found that concentrating on the music really helps to keep my mind from from wondering (which is weird cos i was listeing to Slipknot) but anyway, i suddenly felt as though the blackness within my closed eyes was somehow. deep (dont know how else to xplain) then i cud see sliver stars among a grey misty film, was this my thrid eye vision (and how come i got it, when i wasnt even trying to)

Black is not an indication of evil, it is an indication of stress or unhappiness.

White haze can also mean the same thing. The more bright and vibrant it looks the better.

Go into the Astral Pulse Island topic, you'll find loads of information about it there.  I think people have actually met there from this website.  Cool, isn't it?

As for higher beings and dragons - they are all over the site as well.  Do a search for them and you'll find them!

Yes, I've had the humming in the ears before, but not really music tune related. It happens every so often, and the vibrations for me are there, but not real strong. From what I've read here at the Astral Pulse, people have varying degrees of vibrations. That is, from mild to strong. [:)]

Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid Dreams and AP
July 04, 2004, 14:17:50
Hi Mike17,

A lucid dream is knowing that you are in a dream, and exercising conscious control within the dream. For example, while lucid, one will make the decision to fly, knowing all the while that they are in a dream. There is a great website you may be interested in: http://www.lucidity.com

Also, the dream state is an excellent time for some people to project from. There is a book called The Projection of the Astral Body by Sylvan Muldoon & Hereward Carrington. In the book Muldoon relates his experiences projecting from the dream state.

Lastly, sometimes while lucid, we make the decision to fly or jump a great distance, only to wake up. With time and practice, one can usually stay in the lucid state.

This topic may be better suited for our Welcome to Dreams forum. Should you want it moved, let me know and I'll move it. [;)]

Very best,

Hi Mike17,

Welcome to the Astral Pulse forums! It sure sounds like you had some classic obe sensations in your description. You did appear to have some separation as well. Thing is, fear tends to get in the way, and it does occur to a lot of folk. Take a look at a topic by James S  in our Welcome to Permanent Astral Topics forum entitled Reasons why OBE's should NOT be feared. It is a good thread with helpful advice. [:)]

Very best.
Nick
