Does anyone stretch out before meditating or APing? I was relaxing and my guiding spirit started moving my limbs and helped me stretch out. I really felt like when I paired with others in soccer and we stretched each other out before practices and games. I felt REALLY relaxed after that experience. I figured I could do this before anything. My legs, chest area, and arms really tense up when I am meditating like spasms. I figured anything to help relax wouldn't hurt and I felt like my guide was making a point to stretch out before meditating. Thanks.

Hello all! I am new here and new to astral projection. I have been meditating seriously for 3 weeks now. I started about 3 years ago but mostly been doing it off and on. This time I am trying to keep with it. I am able to clear my mind and probably get into alpha waves with light mediation. I wanted to go deeper so I used delta/theta waves videos with headphones through youtube. These binaural beats really relaxed me. Basically, I just couldn't let go and keep into the deep meditation. It is like staying awake when you are sleepy in class. You can't sleep but you feel yourself slipping away into sleep then right when your eyes are closed and you are relaxed you realize you are about to go to sleep and pop your head up and say I'm awake I'm awake! I was finally able to let it take me like being in the ocean and just letting a wave consume you.

My arms and face started to tingle. I felt a strong happiness. It felt like I was smiling the biggest smile I could on my face even though my real face was like a poker face when I was doing this. My soul was smiling. The tingling moved to my legs then my stomach until it was all over my body. My eyes were twitching like I was in REM sleep. I did this for no more than 5 minutes. I was so relaxed it felt like it was forgetting to breath. It felt like something inside was trying to get out. My spirit I guess. It was amazing and a big break through for me. I got really excited about it.

I go for a second round today in the afternoon. I am able to get the tingling feeling but it is not as strong as last night. My eyes are twitching. This time my legs have spasms. It is weird. They are moving and I keep putting them back in place. So here is the position of my body (hard to explain). I have my hands on my chest and the fingers are locked. My legs are not straight. The feet are touching and the legs are bent with the outer thigh laying in bed and the upper thighs are pointing up. I realize I should just go with it because I had success with it before. I let my legs move. I soon find out it is NOT random spasms. Slowly my legs start moving up like a clam closing. Eventually, my legs come together and the knees are pointing up. Maybe around 40 degrees. Then my feet start being dragged down until my legs are completely straight. From there, I started to feel the same force on my hands. They start to pull the locked fingers and hands away. Eventually, my hands are up then they slowly start moving to my sides. I am now completely straight, my legs are touching each other, and my hands are by my sides. My back was also arching up too during this time but not by me. Unfortunately, I was going to the movies with my family and had to call it quits. I wanted to see where this was going.

I didn't feel threatened by the force. I know lower energies use forces as tricks to get people interested in them. I was in control the whole time. I let it move it. I also felt the happiness around me during this time. I pray to God for protection when I am doing this stuff and trust God will look over me. I just let things happen. Maybe it was my guiding spirit trying to better adjust my position for success. I don't know. I have heard my spirit guide while meditating. I told him to whisper love into my ear and I was able to relax enough to hear another voice say love. It was like it came from within my head. I wasn't in pain during this last experience. I was a little uncomfortable on the inside because once again I felt like something was trying to get out of my body. The moving part of my legs and hands was not uncomfortable. It was like pushing myself at the gym. It is a good kind of uncomfortable.
