hi

I was just wondering which of the two techniques is more immersing, more real when it comes to experiencing  astral world ?

I would think that since with phasing you are still aware of your physical body to a degree, and especially due to the lack of any body ( astral or etheric - it doesn't matter if those bodies are real or just a figment of your imagination ) , I have a feeling one is not able to immerse into astral fully, at least with regards to your physical senses ( touch most importantly ) , while in contrast your regular astral projection does appear  more "real" in that aspect, since you can "feel" the astral word around you with your astral body, while I would think phasing doesn't reproduse the illusion(?) of  touch ? Or does it?!

thank you

Since it seems it will be awhile before frank returns and writes his long awaited book, and since I'm still very interested in learning phasing, can you recommend me a book that best describes how to achieve it?

I know there are topics on phasing, but the information about it is way too scattered over numerous topics and more importantly, in my opinion, forum's topics on it don't go into enough details to be really useful

EDIT-I know about bruce moen, but I find it hard to believe that next to monroe he's the only one describing phasing. In any case,if he is the authority on the subject, do recommend his book

It would be best if Frank himself could answer this question but in case that doesn't happen, pehaps people that do have contact with him on more or less regular basis could
Does frank still plan to release his book ? When ?

I just want to know if Frank's phasing newsletter is still active since the last newsletter I received was 2 months ago ?

I will admit that I don't read much of your posts (or anyone else's for that matter ) since I don't yet feel ready to begin "projecting" .So my question may already be answered by you somewhere among your numerous novels you call posts ( just kidding :) ).

In your newsletter you said "objective reality is an objective translation
of the underlying subjective action" . I'm not able to pinpoint as to what exactly is bothering me with that explanation but I will try .

*If I understand what you are saying , then physical world ( for example ) is only a manifestation of our own consciousness and thus I can view objectively ( to a point since experiencing this world first hand via my body means I'm viewing it subjctively ) the actions of my own consciousness ( at least part or even area responsible for all physical ) which of course by definition is always subjective ?

*And speaking of physical , who exactly is responsible for physical world ? You or I or did our minds somehow managed to get togehter or ... ( see the question below ) ?

*If we must always travel within us and thus nothing exists outside our consciousness , wouldn't that indicate that somehow my consciousness occupies or exists in your consciousness also and vice-versa ?

The following question also has to do with something you said in newsletter :
"The obstacles in thinking people have are :
2) People objectify everything "

Now what exactly you mean by that ?

I sure hope you can clear this up for me since I do plan to follow your book , but it would make it that more difficult without understanding the basics

Someone mentioned in another thread that while experince may feel real
while having an actual OBE,but when when you're finish having OBE the memory of it will be more or less dreamlike and distant.
I know time and practice will improve ones recollection of an OBE , but is it possible to train your mind to such degree so that memory of OBE won't be in any way less vivid and powerful as anything you remember from this ( physical ) world ?
If possible , are any of you guys capable of such a vivid OBE recollection ?

hi

I really, really need your help on this one.Even though I'm visiting therapist,I would  also like to try to get rid of my problem using meditation.

I started visiting cognitive therapist cos in certain situations my mind seems to produce a thought(s),and of which I am not aware of,that makes my body react in certain way.
Now,as little as I was told of the therapy , one of its goals is to identify that thought(s) and replace it with another.

I would like to find an easy to follow meditation trough which I would be (in time) able to detect thoughts like one pesting me.

-I'm not shure but from little I've read about different meditations,it would seem that MENTAL OBSERVATION meditation is best for what I'm looking for?!

-Or is there something else you would suggest?

-In case MENTAL OBSERVATION meditation is a way to go,can you give me some instructions(or links) so I can start practicing it right away ?

-Is MENTAL OBSERVATION meditation something I can learn by myself or do I need an instructor?

-how much time a day should I practice it?

-I know everybody is different, but if practiced regulary, when can I expect to identify the thought that's been giving me troubles ?

Any other tips would be really welcomed

http://home.xtra.co.nz/hosts/Wingmakers/The%20seven%20Cosmic%20Planes.html

If you follow the link above you will find a description of planes above astral plane and so I was wondering how or who actually reached Monadic and Logoic plane .Afteral, someone had to reach it in order to describe it.
But by the sound of it noone should be able to reach those levels since same article claims that  that spiritual masters are on atmic plane

Also that article states that akashic records are on the buddhic planes while bruce claims it's in between astral and mental planes. So which is it?

I know it's imposible to prove it either way(I imagine one can't prove that santa ain't really visiting us each year),but if you were to give a list of why you might think astral travel is real and also why(even if you think AP is real) it may be just a product of your own imagination, what would those arguments be?

I realise  that many in here believe AP is real, but are there things about AP that make you a little more sceptical about it?

I would very much like to start meditating ( I realise meditation in itself is relaxation but...) ,but I'm having trouble becoming relaxed. It is as if there are butterflies in my stomach
Are there any methods(perhaps a meditation solely for purpose of relaxing your mind and body) that would help me?

hi

I was wondering if one has to work with chakras in order to achieve astral projection or OBE,or are there techniques that let you have one without any energy work at all?

NEW page 12- " Lightly scratch a circual area clockwise on TOP of the thumb joint ... "

By " TOP of the thumb joint " does he mean the side of joint closer to thumbnail or side closer to the hand ?

Also , does he mean we should scratch in a circle so that whole circle is located above the top of thumb joint bone , or that we should actually scratch in a circle ( 1.5 cm in diameter ) around the thumb-joint bone itself ?

thank you

I read  MBA chapter yesterday  but there are few things I would like to ask.

When I try to concentrate on certain point on my body, like on my leg or arm or where-ever , I am only able to feel around that area circa 1 square cm , meaning I get the general location right , but nothing more precise
Related to the first question - I'm also having trouble focusing on a point , since when focusing it's more of a blurry feeling , meaning I can't exactly focus on a single point , but more on that area ( 1 square cm or inch )

Is that how it should be or must I be able to focus on AND feel specific small points ( that can be the size of a sharp end of the needle ) ?
Is this enough for me to go and read and practice more advanced chapters and if not when then?

Also, the sensation I feel are very very light almost up to the point of not knowing if I actually am feeling anything. How and when will that change?

thank you

hi

I want to start working with body's energies.I've heard opening microcosmic orbit(tao way) is a good start, but I'm wondering if perhaps with NEW method I would get results faster, and also if method itself is easier to learn and master?

what do you think?

I gues both methods have good and bad things with the method, I would try them both to see what works. The advantage of interupting your sleep -maybe after 6 hours-is that you could do some kind of focusing technique as  you lay there going back to sleep, since you have gotten most of your sleep requirement for the night you may be able to project into an obe or not sleep as deep and have a better chance of being lucid in your dreams. Maybe if you have trouble with going back to sleep just wake an hour earlier than you usual would and try thr techniques then.

The problem I had with the meditation based approach was that I could get real close to projecting but I think that since I was awake I had some degree of fear that held me back. I think you do have less fear when in the sleep mode but you do have to overcome dream intrusions, however there are ways to increase your lucidty.

Try them and let us know what works.
