Welcome to the Healing place! / I am in the hospital
February 06, 2005, 21:20:31

I had a horrible thing happen to me. I was fine all day yesterday until 7:30 pm. I suddenly doubled over in pain and my son (who had been napping because he isn't feeling well) slept walked into my room saying, "Look mom over that bridge there is a monster attacking you! We have to get out of hear!" I told him, "Honey you are sleeping wake up." He woke up disoriented and saw that I was doubled over in pain. He persisted on saying a monster crossed a bridge from another world and was attacking me.
I had to call 911 the pain got so bad even after I took two Tylenol 3. my son refused to go with me even though he wasn't feeling well either. He decided to stay at my neighbors.
When I got to the hospital they had to do an emergency surgery on my hernia. The intestine had somehow twisted and gotten stuck in the hernias hole. My mom has my son and gave me my laptop computer. I have a dial up connection from the hospital. I'll be here until I can swallow solid food. So at least I can post from my hospital room. I am doing much better. At least the hernia is fixed now.

I can't help but wonder if I was under attack like my son thinks. He still persists that he saw a monster cross a bridge from another world and attack me.

Welcome to Healing discussions! / Weight
January 12, 2005, 00:06:38
I have struggled with weight problems ever since I was a teenager. Diets never worked and I often lost a little weight when I was happy. Last year I got up to 400 pounds. I didn't even eat as much as my ex-husband who was skinny but more active than I was. My health was on a decline. I became borderline diabetic, had high blood pressure and my doctor wanted me to have a gastric bypass (I refused). I was also in an emotionally abusive relationship with my husband and he was becoming mean to our children.

Then something happened that changed my life. A doctor discovered that I had sleep apnea. I had to breath on a c-pap machine at night. I hated it at first. The mask made me claustrophobic but now I am totally hooked on it. I started having energy again. I had energy to leave my husband and I started a new life for my children and I.

Now one year later I have lost 100 pounds without dieting. I no  longer have high blood pressure and I am no longer borderline diabetic.

Several months ago I posted in the psychic self defense about my astral lover whom I thought was an incubus. I was told that if I continued the relationship that I would suffer health problems. I did quit being intimate with him but he still is very affectionate with me and curls up with me when I sleep. Eventually I gave into his affection and I feel more at peace since I resumed the relationship.

Instead of my health getting worse my health has been taking a 180o degree change for the better except for a spine injury which was caused by a near fall down the stairs. Still even though doctors told me it needed surgery it seems to be getting better on its own. The doctors still think it's best if I let them fix the herniated disc that is pinching a nerve. I meet with a doctor this week for a 4th opinion.

My weight loss has been helped by the c-pap machine increasing my energy but by my energy increasing I walk more and am more active.

I just want to say for those who have issues with weight. If you snore at night, consider a sleep study. It could be more to do with how you are breathing than it does with what you are eating.

Welcome to Dreams! / Odd Nightmare
October 26, 2004, 16:36:04
I've had precognitive dreams all my life and I sometimes have trouble telling which ones are. My last one was right before 9/11 happened. I had dreamed about a woman fighting in a war. She was in US war fatigues and planes were dropping things from the sky.

This dream was about some disaster that hit the US. I never found out if it was natural or war related but in the dream people were coming to the area where I live for food and water. Where I live hadn't been hit with whatever drove the people here. They had soup kitchens serving food at midnight and I had to stand in a long line to get food from the food shelf. There were homeless people everywhere.

I don't know if it was a precognitive dream or not.

Last night my child had a severe anxiety attack. I think it is possible that she was dealing with a negative attack. The bad thing is now she is being psychologically examined at the hospital. Does anyone have advice for her or I if this happens again. She is my eldest child and I am very worried about her.

(edit)
I took this of her last night. It almost looks like something is on her shoulder. It's probably just a double exposure of her face.
(I was living on no sleep when I first posted this thread.)
