I've been trying for almost two weeks now and had very little progress. I knew it takes awhile to actually do it, at least most of the time. So anyway, I had went to sleep that night as I usually did. I woke up at six in the morning, which normally happens to me but I usually go back to sleep. But this time I decided to try again. So I laid on my back, and closed my eyes. I relaxed everything in my body. I started feeling vibrations and sat there for awhile, wondering what to do. I've tried a lot of exiting techniques but had trouble with them. That's when I remembered that old trick where you pretend that one hand is tied to a helium balloon and the other has a really heavy book and the one hand with the balloon goes up while the other goes down. So I thought 'I could imagine my body being tied to really big balloons'.

I imagined that I had balloon's on my legs, arms, chest and head. I kept imagining them slowly pulling up on my body. That's when I felt my chest and head area slowly rise up. My other parts slowly began to rise up. But being sort of new to this, I panicked. I don't know why exactly, but I did. And soon enough I was back in my body again. It was amazing and hope to be able to do it again.  :-D

I'm sorta new to Astral Projection but I have read A LOT about it. I've tried a few times before but I would get too excited when I get to the vibration stage and ruin the whole thing. But last night I think I almost did it. I had the radio on and got into bed. I laid down flat on my back and relaxed everything like I normally did. One of the songs I liked was on the radio and I focused on the song and kinda went into a dream-like state. I felt like my whole body was vibrating but instead of getting excited I just kept focusing on the song. I then felt like I was laying down on an elevator that was going up really slow like. So I opened my eyes just barely, when I didn't see anything I closed them. But as soon as I closed them, in the corner of my eye was a bright light. Almost as if the streetlight from my window was beaming from the wall. And I thought that that was what it was.

After a few more seconds of nothing except the elevator feeling and the light, I gave up and opened my eyes. I looked over to look at the light but when I did, it was gone. Like it had never been there. The funny thing was, later that night when I went to sleep I was dreaming and then woke up in sleep paralysis because I wanted to turn on my side and couldn't. I then kept hearing static and voices that were everywhere which really scared me. So I forced my arms to move with all my strength and broke out of it. And I have never actually had sleep paralysis ever.

I'm gonna try again though and hopefully this time, I won't give up. :-D
