I must say, it really is all its cracked up to be. That was a fun dream, even though I couldn't get much control over it, I still knew I was dreaming and started to work on changing things.

A while back I read this easy OOBE method where you wake yourself up after being asleep for a few hours, do some stuff for about an hour, and then go back to sleep. And in that state you should be able to fall asleep very fast and have an OOBE.

I didn't have an actual OOBE, but I did have my first lucid dream. I woke up this morning and i felt some pain in my eye... you know that crap that hardens around your eye? yeah, well, some of it got under my eyelids. So I spent some time trying to get it out and went back to sleep. I was probably only up for about 20 minutes. I must have very easily fallen asleep cause I didn't even know I was sleeping. I was very convinced I was awake for a while, until I walked out of my room. I went to talk to my mom and I lost my voice, couldn't move my mouth very well, and bean to float away. I fly through the wall and couldn't grab onto anything solid. I then woke up in my bed thinking that was a weird dream. I was still dreaming though because a similar situation happened yet again. This happened about 10 times. The first few times I thought I was awake when I woke up, but I figured out that I was still sleeping and started to learn to control what was happening. I managed to be able to grab onto solid objects sometimes. I think I also learned to control the flight a little. After that annoying repetitious sequence, I had another dream in which I was apparently a girl. Although I couldn't see myself, people were referring to me as she. I was running through this strange building i have never seen before and I found this room with some people. For some reason I just jumped at one of the girls and started kissing her. To my surprise she didn't try to pull away. The dream continued for a while, but its a bit hazy, until the last part when I'm about to have sex with a girl but someone walks into the room before we even got all our clothes off. Me and the girl proceeded to run so this person cant get us in trouble. lol.

Then my friend calls my house and the sound of the phone wakes me up. Thank god my friends are annoying like that or I wouldn't have remembered as much of this dream as I did.

Threes actual 1 or 2 more separate dreams I can remember, but I wasn't lucid during those so I wont bother explaining them.

A month or two ago my friend mentions psionics and astral projection.  He explained what they were and I instantly took up an interest.  So I began reading some websites about these subjects.  Unfortunately, college gets in the way of everything, even itself, so I haven't had much time to explore anything.  Not to mention the fact that I sleep on the bottom of a bunk bed in my dorm room...  Every time my roommate moves I can feel the vibrations through the metal frame, so its hard to actually meditate.  Now that the semester is almost over, I'm taking up the interest again since I can actually start to practice in 11 days from now.

My main goal is just to have lucid dreams, but astral projection would be nice as well... Too bad they don't teach this stuff in school, lol

Well first you need some background info.  I have never met her in person, we only have talked online and on the phone.  I know you may be looking at me funny now, you ask yourself "whats wrong with this guy," but we love each other more than you could ever imagine loving someone.  Our relationship is great, we never fight.  We are both dieing to see each other in person.

That leads to the dreams I have once in a while where we meet for the first time in person.  They are all different, never reoccurring, but they are always similar in that something goes wrong.  In the one I can remember most vividly, I am driving to her house.  I borrowed my dads 2-door coupe and drive down to Maryland where she lives.  In reality it is several hours away, but it takes only an hour or 2 to get there in the dream.  I actually notice the time in the dream and think to myself that it seemed too short, but I quickly determined it was a case of "time flies by when you're having fun."  (Too bad I couldn't turn it into a lucid dream, maybe I could have made the outcome much better...)  When I finally got there we ran at each other and hugged.  Shortly after our first hug and kiss we are interrupted by what I think was her dad coming home.  We were outside, and I was attacked by a large barrage of arrows.

I have no idea what that was supposed to mean, but being attacked when you meet the love of your life / soul mate its not a good thing.  The other ones weren't as bad, but when I meet her in my dreams it doesn't usually turn out so great.

heh, its not fair... she gets to have these awesome dreams where shes making out with me all night and i get attacked by arrows in mine....

If anyone can tell me what this all means, that would be great.  I'm so confused by these dreams because I definitely do not have doubts about our relationship.
