Hi everyone!
This time I experienced very different things...all at once!!
I felt the usual sleep paralysis and immediately I wanted to have an OBE...So as usual I tried rolling out...I did but instead something very interesting happened! I just floated couple of inches above my body and looked at the ceiling, but instead of reaching there instantly, like it always happens, I stayed where I was...I tried focussing real hard at the ceiling but I still stayed where I was before...I turned back and looked at my sleeping self...It looked like my actual body's hand was clasping my astral body...and then everything really slowed down all at once! It was funny because normally things seem very fast while in the RTZ! I was like time had stopped! I assumed that this was some sort of a void and that I could now travel to any unknown place I wanted!! So I just thought about this chat friend of mine who is situated far away and whom I have never visited...And then I felt a jolt as if I was back in my body...and then everything turned pitch black and there was a swirling sensation in my head...as if I was being transported someplace else! And BAM!!! I was standing in a bedroom that I remember very clearly! The bed looked like someone had been sleeping there earlier...the balcony doors were open and wind coming in...curtains flying...clothes drying on a line outside...and then there were 2 cats who could sense my presence btw!! They were solid! They came near me, but instead passed halfway through my knees...And I woke up with a tickling sensation on my knees !!!
can anyone try and explain what I faced? Did I successfully come out of RTZ into the astral?

Hello everyone!
Need to tell you about this extraordinary experience I had few days back!  8-)
As usual, I projected sometime at the break of dawn. This time after I rolled out, I noticed that I was travelling faster than usual. I went out to the balcony and started flying.
Then I just thought..."why should I fly to the usual places? I should probably explore a bit more!"
And...BAM...I was there in a huge school playground, that reminded me of another place I know already. There were many small kids playing there.
I noticed two very small girls discussing things very animatedly and decided to move close to them...As I was going closer, I noticed that they seemed quite solid and I could see them down to their feet as well. The did not seem like astral beings...rather real!  :-o
Funny thing was that they seemed to have noticed me and they had shocked expressions on their faces and started pointing...I realised that I had to go and waved them goodbye as I flew away from them!
Is it possible that they were actually real people that I came across and oddly enough they could see me?  :-o

Has anyone achieved the state of 3D blackness ? If so, then I would love to know about your experience !!
Also, how exactly can it be achieved ? I would definitely like to try !

Hi all!

Just wanted to share an experience about my astral projection that happened a year back which i think had a hidden message for the future!

One night, sometime in August last year, I projected. I went down the stairs at home and out the balcony, where I found two other beings...one tall guy and a shorter one! I got freaked that there were other people there and started back inside and up the stairs...but they seemed to follow me. Finally, deciding to face them, I turned towards them. I looked at the taller person who had distinct intense eyes  and somehow we seemed to connect instantly. The feeling that followed was very nice and I felt perfectly comfortable communicating with this person. I also noticed that the shorter person was a faded blur. Then I seemed to come back to my physical body and it was morning!

I never understood this incident, though I knew there was some sort of a hidden message there! Nevertheless, I never seemed to forget those intense eyes!

After this happened, a series of incidents took place over the months, which included a breaking of a 7 years old relationship and meeting someone new. When I met this new guy, there was an instant connection and some kind of recognition in between us. Then I noticed that he seemed familiar because of his eyes...the same distinct intense eyes that I had seen in that projection that had taken place 7 months back! Also, he is much taller than the guy from my previous serious relationship!
Anyway, now that I am dating this guy, things seem very smooth (unlike the previous relationship) and he seems like a mirror image of me!

Previously, I have never believed in the concept of a soulmate, but this certainly seems like that! I get the feeling that I have deciphered some sort of a message that I had got months before any of these real life incidents took place!
Can anyone relate to such an experience? Is it possible to meet someone during projection, whom you are about to meet in the future?

Welcome to Dreams! / Continuing on a previous dream
February 26, 2013, 09:29:11
Hi Everyone!
Though this may not occur as anything new to many of you, I just wanted to share my experience!
Let me first tell you that I have had debates with a friend about continuing on a previous dream at will. My friend said that whenever he woke up while seeing a dream, he could continue on it almost everytime he fell asleep again. I could not do the same and so I used to wonder if I would ever be able to do that too!
Last night however, I was seeing a dream and in the middle of it I seemed to shift consciousness and realize that I was APing. I planned on experimenting then! I wanted to go back to my body and come back to the same place again. And BAM I was back. And BAM I was back in the dream again in the same place! I got so excited that I continued doing this many times!
I have seen dreams before that I would so like to continue! Hope I am finally on the right path!

Cheers!!

Hi everyone!
I haven't been very active on this forum lately because I did not project (consciously) for about 3 months. However, yesterday morning I projected after a long long time and it felt really good! However, the projection was for a very short time.
When I got out of body, I glided off outside my house successfully, but I came to this balcony where there were these transparent glass barriers. Funny thing happened when I leaned on them though. I could feel the cool glass completely! It almost felt as if this was my physical self! And then I bent a little and caught a reflection of my face. It was not different from my physical self at all!!
Then I realized that i was actually leaning against the glass and was surprised because I had always thought that when we are in our astral form, we can glide right through any barrier, whether that be a wall or glass!  :?
Since I could not cross the barrier, I went back to my body.
Has anyone else faced any such situations? If so then I would like to know.

Thanks,
Piyal

Hi everyone!

I don't know if this is a common occurance for everyone, but many times during my AP I have been really confused whether i am my real self or my astral self.
For an instance, sometimes i would project and get out of my bed, but then i would feel the cool floor touch my feet and think that maybe i am sleep walking( I normally never sleep walk), then i would look back and not find myself in bed and think that i should probably get back, but when i do get back i get the typical sensation of getting back into my body, the sensation of the blanket wrapped around me etc... This means that everytime I do AP but I get confused as to which state i'm in...
Is this a common incident? Has this ever happened to you?

Hi everyone!!

Have you ever seen a lucid dream and in between realized that you are APing?
This happened to me last night...I had a lucid dream and suddenly my consciousness level seemed to change in the midst of it and then i realized that i was APing! It was pretty interesting!
Another interesting thing that i noticed was that after i woke up i didnt seem to remember much about the lucid dream, but i do remember each and everything that happened after i realized i was APing!
I found this very interesting because this was the first time that this happened to me...before this i had always projected in the RTZ...but this time i was not aware when i actually get out of the body...A lucid dream and then...BAM...there i was!!  :-D

Cheers!!!

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to share an observation which should not be new to all you astral travelers but I found it very interesting nevertheless.
Every time I am out of body, I have noticed that there are minute changes in my surroundings...For example, everytime the room would look the same, the only change would be the patterns on the curtains or the bedsheet or my blanket. Once I even saw myself sleeping in different night clothes.
I even remember the instance when i flew out of my balcony to find an amazingly windy weather, but actually it had been raining at the time...and that same day i discovered the railway station somewhere in the west, which is actually supposed to be located to the east
It is just wonderful how you can observe such changes from a parallel universe, isn't it?  :-)

Cheers!

Hi all!
My last two OOBEs have been very weird. Both times i got the floating sensation, but i got too scared to leave my body so i wanted to be back...During the getting back phase however, i heard or saw scary astral beings that i managed to ward away.
What was weird both the times was, after warding away these beings i would open my eyes wide and would be able to draw these amazing golden patterns with my eyes in the dark. The first time i had drawn beautiful patterns that included a beautiful colourful fish in the centre...Last night i drew the cockpit of an airplane that i wish someone could have seen...it was just beautiful!
Soon after that i would get the sensation of drifting back into my body...
Has anyone experienced any such thing before or is there any possible explanation to these incidents??

Hi everyone!
It's been a while since i wrote something in this forum. Had been very busy working!
Last night however, some very weird things happened. I was seeing some pretty normal dream which i don't remember now. All of a sudden i could feel that similar floating sensation. since it's been a while that i have successfully astral traveled, i let myself float upwards but did not open my eyes. And then all of a sudden a heard a voice very close to my ear. It was a very very deep male voice that was cursing. I got so scared that i immediately pulled back into my body without even looking for the source of that horrible voice!  :-o
Then when i thought i was back in my body, i opened my eyes. The weird part is that even when thought i was back, as i looked across the room, i could see golden designs spread all over the dark background. It was as if i was drawing those designs with my eyes. I remember very clearly that i drew a very beautiful and colourful fish too...at some point i got scared of the fish that i had created myself out of thin air...and then all of a sudden everything just disappeared. I looked at the watch beside me, it was 1:20AM...
Somehow i feel very disturbed by these incidents, especially the part where i'd heard that horrifying voice!! Can someone please explain? :|

Hi everyone!! I just had to share this with you all!!
This morning at around 6:40AM when i did not even anticipate an OBE, i had the most amazing one!!
Till now all i had achieved was all limited to my home and the moment i had tried to jump out of the balcony, i was back in my body!!
This morning I had several OBEs again and again. Everytime i climbed out of my bed, went out to the balcony and flew around the whole place. Whatever places i flew to,they were beautiful. I even flew past a train station...In between i entered some place that looked like a gallery of some sort and i met another astral being there!! When i was flying I was very very high up...The whole time i could feel the amazing wind blow across my face, I could feel the lightness, the beauty. This time i was able to control my fall too!
The best and the most amazing part of my travel today was when i looked back at my bed and i could hardly see myself wrapped up in my blanket...then i looked at my glass bookcase and saw my astral self, silvery white and amazing with a big smile on it's face, floating 2 inches above the ground (the lights in the room were very dim). Can't quite explain but i'd never seen myself look so beautiful like then...Then i went out my balcony and took flight again...however this time, The whole time i was aware that maybe people would be able to see me (maybe because i had seen myself looking so bright).
When i woke up, i thought my body felt a bit numb altogether...maybe i was out there projecting for a long time...The funny part was when i found out that it had been raining heavily since 6AM in the morning...but when i was travelling i did not see it nor feel it...it was rather windy at the time...
I know many of you would have already experienced a lot of this, but this was my first time and i will never forget it!!   :-)

Hi everybody!!

I have successfully RTZ projected before this. But this Sunday something very weird happened. I had been on a day trip with some friends and when i came back home i was so tired i barely had supper and retired to bed early. I did not have in mind any intentions of astral projecting. Around 3:30 AM however, i needed to use the bathroom once so i got up.
Next thing i remember is the similar sinking feeling. I knew for sure that in a few moments i would be able to project. After a while i opened my eyes and i saw a aura around me, some sort of a whitish gleam. I knew it was my astral body trying to separate. Then i remember drifting back into a deep sleep. After sometime however, i felt as though i had separated successfully and i sat up and got out of bed. As i moved towards the door, i looked back and saw that my physical body wasn't there. It was then that i realized that i was sleep walking!
After going back to bed then, i drifted off into a dream which felt very real as though i was astral projecting. Why i say this is that in that dream i was able to walk through doors too.
In that dream i went downstairs in my house and out the balcony. There i saw two guys. I didnt know them and had no idea who they were so i got a bit scared and walked back inside my home. They seemed to follow me however and once they were inside i wasnt scared  anymore. Next thing i remember is that we were conversing while we stood on the stairs leading upstairs to my room. The funny part is that the taller guy and me seemed to have some sort of a deep connection. It was like exchanging information through the eyes and a feeling of assurance. Maybe he was my soulmate or something!!
I never wanted that dream to end but then "i woke up".
What confuses me is that if this was a lucid dream, then why was i able to pass through doors? And if not, then why didn't it feel much like a projection?

Hello everyone!
I'm here to share my latest OBE experiences which happened this morning at around 6AM.
Last night i was wondering why i did not experience anything for the past 1 week and i concluded that maybe I was too tired working and slept too deep to remember.
But this morning at 6 i woke up for some reason. Then i realised that i did not have to be awake until 8:30. So this time when i slept, i felt the familiar sensation of sleep paralysis and very soon i felt like i was floating and could see my room even with my physical eyes closed. Then I remember that i tried to float upwards towards the ceiling as many people have achieved that. But somehow i could not and i was pulled back into my body.
Next again i felt myself floating and this time i tried rolling over on a side. This was somehow funny because after rolling over when i turned my face, instead of seeing my whole body lying there, i could only see the lower half wrapped up in my blanket. I have no sense of direction at all!  :-D But yet again i had a strong urge to go back into the body and i did.
Yet again i tried to separate and this time i succeeded. I walked through the door entering another room where i found my sister standing in the balcony. I went past where she was standing and wanted to fly like many people have claimed to have done. But as soon as i jumped off the balcony, I got the falling sensation and was back in my physical body.
But still i did not give up and i projected once more because i had to explore further. So again i walked through the doors and walls (left the balcony this time). Then i wanted to go upwards through the ceiling and i floated up easily but somehow i felt that the ceiling was too solid and gave up the idea. Then, though my physical body was in another room, i thought i saw myself (a very solid self) approach me. And then i looked into my own eyes. This time though, there was no fear reflected in the eyes (last time i had projected and looked into the eyes of my physical self there was a feeling of fear in it's eyes). It was only a feeling of assurance and strong bonding. Then suddenly i felt my heart skip a beat (in my physical body) and then again i was back.
So i projected 4 times in total and the whole time i had the feeling of a very strong magnetism with my real body, even when i wasn't in the same room.
What confuses me is the last bit. Everytime before my projection ends i see a solid myself, either standing or sitting and whenever i look in it's eyes i'm pulled back.
Also, when i tried flying out of the balcony, i was pulled back into my body. How are other people able to achieve this then?

Ok there is one thing that i want to ask...is there any possible harm in astral travelling??
I mean ever since i've got to know about it, and achieved it, i often feel like i want to try it again...because it seems to me amazing and a very big mystery...I want to discover more and more...
So is there a possibility that it becomes addictive?? Can it lead to a feeling of detachment from the real world if practiced too much??

Hello again everyone!!
I wrote about my first OBE just a few days back and yet again i want to share the experience that I had last night which was partially deliberate but still I did not understand it fully!
First off, to start with I have undertaken several tests before and everytime i have been detected slightly "autistic", as Lionheart stated once!! Maybe this can then explain my last night's experience!
Ok so i start. Last night i slept alone in my room and had dim lights on the whole time. I lay down straight and started to concentrate on my breath. I have no idea when i had drifted off to sleep. Then i felt the typical vibrations though this time i did not feel the paralysis completely. My body lifted a little. This time i tried not to get scared and i lifted up one arm. It was transparent in a way i cannot explain. I wanted to explore a little more, so i tried sitting up and rolling out of bed and i succeeded very fast! Soon i was standing in a corner of my room and i could see my physical body sleeping. I went to the door which was right next to me and tried putting only my face through it. This was a very weird feeling because i could feel the depths of the door touching my face and at the same time i was looking at the corridor outside. I was excited and i pulled my face backward again. But then something very weird happened. I was now looking at my physical body which was sitting up and looking at me (a certain scared look in it's eyes). I remember gliding towards it and trying to tell it not to be scared of anything. And the next thing i know i was sleeping on my bed again. But i did not wake up after that either.
I dont know how far an improvement this was or whether this was "just another dream" because this time i did not even feel myself drifting back into my own body.

Hello all! I think i had an OBE last night.
I have actually been suffering from a bit of an anxiety lately due to which i don't get good sleep. To solve this problem i have been working out in the evenings so that i can sleep peacefully. I actually succeeded in this and slept peacefully for over a week.
However yesterday i missed out on my daily workout and my sleep seemed to be a little disturbed.
Anyway in the middle of the night i felt like my body was completely paralysed. I have had this feeling many times before but this time i somehow managed to open my eyes partially. Though it was very dark, I thought i saw a gleaming white light ahead of me and there was a very funny feeling as i was lifted up maybe just an inch above my bed. I was still not sure of what was happening and a little scared too. Then a series of events happened or i felt they happened:
I tried to wake up my sister who was sleeping right beside me but i couldn't touch her.
I tried turning on the bedside light but the switch didn't budge.
Finally i turned my head back and i saw my own face with eyes wide open and gleaming.
I freaked out because i saw my face upclose and also saw my eyes open. Then i could finally drop back into my body.
Later on throughout the night i kept drifting on and off sleep and again and again i could feel my body getting paralysed.
Please could someone explain this to me. I'm quite anxious.  :?
