I haven't practiced energy manipulation for a few months because it seems to be attracting demons of some sort- I know it sounds crazy, but every time I draw energy a couple of nights later my parents get bad dreams and mental disturbances, and my dad ends up having to fight off demons all night. My parents think I may be opening some sort of portal without realizing it every time I draw energy, and demons get through to get to us. I have been banned from energy practice because of this- I would like my parents to know we're safe before ever starting again. Any suggestions towards what's causing this and how to prevent it?  And also, each time I've drawn energy lately (before I was stopped), it seems to make my arm ache.

I am attempting telekinesis, but without any results. All I can seem to do is draw energy. My psiwheel is home-made out of a toothpick with a portion of the pointed top bent down, and a circle of aluminum foil a little over an inch long with a hole in the middle is stuck through the bent part. A small piece of lightweight clay is on either side to keep the wheel on its perch. The base is melted and hardened plastic, and I stuck the other end of the toothpick in it. I put the makeshift psiwheel under a clear drinking glass. I checked the wheel to see if it was stuck on the clay or perhaps the hole in the middle of the foil wasn't big enough, but the wheel moves easily if I even breathe on it. I've meditated and concentrated for a reasonable period each day and then tried to move the wheel, but I can't figure out what's stopping it. Unfortunately this is leading to skepticism on my part that I am even capable of moving it all, making it all the harder to work.

Recently I've been attempting telekinesis, with no results so far, (likely because I've only been at it for three days with one 30-minute practice session each day). I collect electrical energy  (including when I try TK), by imagining drawing it from the core of the earth and from lightning strikes above me. I usually draw it to my arms and hands only, especially my right arm. Well, lately every time I draw energy, I get the usual warmth and electrical "static sparks" feeling in my hands, along with an unwelcome dull pain in the middle of my right forearm and hand.
What might be causing this? It lasts for at least an hour and I've never gotten it before a couple of months ago when it started.

To whomever it may concern

I have several questions regarding energy healing and a couple of other things:

1. I only just discovered I could pinpoint pain in others through touch and help it quit hurting and heal faster. I believe this is sometimes called empathy. I also have amazing hearing which I do not at all remember posessing before. Where in the world did these things originate and why lately instead of years ago? (A note, I am quite young and perhaps they may have come with physical growth and development?)

2. I draw my energy by imagining blue-white electrical currents flowing  from the earth through my feet and through my head from clouds above, and finally, into my hands. I visualize it going from my hands to the trouble spot of the person who I am helping, and healing it and bringing blood circulation to the area. I usually use muscle rub on the troubled area (the type that feels icy but hot). I try to incorporate electrical sounds (imagined) into the visualization and I play energizing but relaxing music to help me. I ask the person to imagine the energy going into them. Am I doing any of this correctly, or should I do anything differently for better/stronger results? Or is the icy/hot muscle rub the only thing that's working, and I'm not really fixing anything?

3. I have been practicing for a month and a half and I'm still not getting results much stronger than the first time I ever tried it on someone else. Although, I used to just rub the area without using energy because I didn't know anything like that existed to use, and the results are stronger than when I didn't, I still can't get much stronger. All I can manage to feel is the slight prickling feeling in my hands (like static electricity), and I've tried warmth and fire energy also. I'm also having lots of trouble keeping focused and concentrated for more than a minute or two.

4. I absorbed more electrical energy today for awhile, and I stopped for a bit and then tried more, but I couldn't muster the strength to visualize any more. I used music to inspire me, and I wasn't using the energy on anyone else this time, just trying to store some up. Is it possible to keep some back for another time, or to keep me feeling good for the day?

I was looking for a place to ask and learn about energy, and I cruised around on Unexplained Mysteries until someone posted a link to this cool site.

My name is Veronica, and I discovered I was an empath about two months ago, (though I'm not strong at all nor experienced). I've been using it on my dad by giving him arm rubs (he strained his arm lifting a 360 pound weight), to figure out where his pain is. Then awhile later I discovered psi energy, which strengthened my "treatments" twofold, and it's helping him heal quite fast. I need to learn to get better at it though, and I'm a complete newbie at this, I only know some basics.

This forum is very intriguing and I hope to learn enough to solve some problems without annoying anyone too much.

And perhaps I will also figure out why I could do none of these things a year ago. And what "NEW" and "neg" are.
