In a scary dream, I'm trying to turn on the light...I think I am at home, anyway.. the lights comes on but the bulb is merely glowing...like in a power failure and the feeling is really scary...like I really need to turn on the light...feels like something is present...hm...

I'm really the worst of interpreting dreams.  Any suggestions appreciated or any hints to good information on-line.

in my dream, I'm back at an old job... it's late... round midnight and time to go home... just checking if a door is locked or not. The door is unlocked, leading into a dark staircase. From the dark, I hear my name whispered.

I forced myself to wake up instantly because it was quite scary...
I'm not into astral travels or lucid but I have had lots of vivid dreams all my life, most of them nightmares  

any suggestions?
