quote:
its like the back of my skull is shattering

Well, it could possibly be caused by something near your headboard or something around your bed? As for the pain, its probably not really pain, just severe pressure, and your mind interprets it as painful. I have had a firecracker explode against my hand before, it doesn't hurt, but it is shocking and also has severe pressure behind it. A pressure hard enough on your phsyical body will kill you, like a weight slowly being lowered onto your skull, but if you consider your astral body being invincible, i guess you could say that it will simply go away when you realise it can't harm you. You will get used to it in a very short amount of time i guess. An example of what I mean can be tested like this. take a pen and press it against your skin fairly hard, hard enough to hurt pretty badly, but not unbearable. Wait about a minute and press even harder. You'll notice that you aren't bothered by the pain before the harder pain, if you can understand that :-/. Anyways, don't continue past that point with my little experiment or you WILL bleed.
Your best bet is check around your bed and find something that could cause you problems, possibly something of odd metal? If at all, it could possibly be your headboard?

In my opinion, it sounds like a dream that you had. You said that you were physically in jail... you state that you recall going to your living room and seeing your body there.  The location of the body is why I think it could be a dream.  It makes sense that your reflection would be different then it is in real life. The mind likes to trick us like that.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Bi Polar Disorder

Stop using XTC -- :')

Stewart Swerdlow wrote a book called The Healer's Handbook which attributes bipolar disorder to a relatively underactive pineal gland.  The brain of the bipolar experiencer is ALL into the right lobe, or ALL into the left at any given time.  Stewart recommends saturating the sufferer with ROYAL BLUE color (NOT navy blue or indigo), and using centering images such as the point surrounded by a circle, a cross, ankh, "T", and angle touching a line.

I am persuaded that MANY mental illnesses are exacerbated by over-estrogenation.  Estrogen (complex) is one of our master hormones.  Plastics (which are everywhere), solvents and industrial toxins (which are everywhere), imitate ESTROGEN in the body.  It should be opposed with natural PROGESTERONE.  Dermal cremes containing Mexican yam, applied through the skin can oppose this "Xeno-estrogen" pollution.  A very good product is made by the Canadian MATOL group.  Search "MATOL" or "Dr. John Lee" on the web.

I enjoy using "Real Salt" or "Celtic Sea Salt" with all the electro-essential trace minerals for the fragile fabric of living enzymes in the system.

Realise there is no real difference between a dream; a lucid dream; dream initiated uncontrolled/controlled projection; or a full blown controlled conscious-exit projection within either the RT zone or the Astral.

Basically it is all Astral Projection. The major difference is *your* level of conscious awareness and the amount to which you can keep your thoughts and emotional-release in check.

As your sense of conscious awareness becomes more awake (while your physical body is sleeping) the more you perceive what is going on. Note: What we generally call "a dream" is just the uncontrolled release of emotion within the lower Astral regions with little or no sense of conscious awareness.

So if your sense of conscious awareness comes awake to the extent where critical faculties can come into play, then, chances are, you'll look at something in the dream that doesn't quite add up. Your critical faculties will say to you something like, "Hey, look at that [some dream anomoly] over there, it's [point out to you how it "should" be compared to how it currently is]."

In order to try and find an answer about this anomoly, Critical Faculties awaken your sense of curiosity. Curiosity, on seeing the anomoly, thinks, "Hmm, I wonder how that can be?" And in a further attempt to "solve the mystery" Curiosity awakens the senses of Logic and Reason together with associated Memory functions.

Once that happens, the answer becomes plain and you think, "I'm dreaming!"

At this stage, you have full conscious awareness on the lower Astral. The major problem, however, is you will be subject to all manner of reality fluctuations *unless* you can quickly close down the emotional release that was fuelling the dream that you were having in the first place, and become mentally still.

If you can do that, your dreamscape will dissipate and you can begin exploring. If you wish to "travel" you do this by using Intent. Though, if you wish to explore the Astral with any degree of success, I would strongly suggest the first thing you do is become aware of the Astral residents who are guiding you.

Yours,
Frank

I think you are just suffering the side effects of overstimulating the chakras.  The symptoms will go away I'm sure, if you leave them alone ie dont focus any awareness on them, dont keep worrying about it.  Let everything get back into balance by itself.

It would be a good idea for you to work on your energy body in a systematic way, download the NEW Tutorial from this site, but first let everything just calm down.

Not good to use drugs as you have no control over the experience.

Ps.  I also used to smoke a lot of dope when I was younger.  I now cannot touch the stuff without getting hysterically paranoid.  I thought it was because your body gets used to the stuff.  Dont know the answer.
