A few mornings ago, after a long sleepless night, I found myself waking up to someone opening the door in my room. I wasn't sure who it was, I wasn't even sure If i was dreaming to begin with now that I think about it, but regardless of how, I found myself half awake in the early morning hours, and as I tried to go back to sleep, the next thing I could remember was the conversation between a man and a woman in some kind of TV set. It seemed as if they were talking about me, and how I would deal with the situation they were about to give me.

After the TV show faded away I was back in control of my body. I regained consciousness just after being dropped off in a dark parking lot at night, right after a rain storm. I walked up the wet concrete toward the neon glow of a department store. Outside the store was a large group of people. As I approached the crowd I started to laugh because I soon realized I knew every single person there. every person had a face, everyone had a name and every one of them I knew from my every day life.

After Exchanging a few words with friends on the way to the door, I stopped to ask a person I was particularly familiar with and asked "Whats going on here?".  "Everything in the store is 60% off" he replied. Now don't get me wrong, I'm never really one to go shopping, I cant stand large crowded stores and waves of rude people, but given the situation (Right after Christmas I had some cash to spend) I couldn't think of a reason not to go in.

I came in out of the darkness through a set of large glass doors, and into the bright openness of a ravaged department store after last minute holiday shopping, and suddenly I realized all of the people behind me and in the store were gone. After stopping and looking around, I continued down one of the rows of uninteresting merchandise.

after about ten minutes of searching and turning up with nothing of value, the memory of the TV came back to me, and suddenly I felt pressured to find something, and quickly, as if I was being watched. I made my way to one of the electronics sections and frantically picked through a wall of junk and again the pressure came back to me, but this time, I said aloud, "I have to hurry, I will be waking up soon" I didn't know I was dreaming at the time, and just as if I flipped a switch, my eyes were drawn to a small, silver laptop in front of me. At first I hesitated, but  after convincing myself to pick it up, I noticed a small label on the front which read [Astral Laptop]...

The next thing I knew, I was home, it was daytime, and I was in my room, with this laptop. I turned it on, but instead of booting up like a windows system, It went right into a program similar to Google Earth. There was a Loading screen that showed a scene of someone sleeping, (not sure who it was) The screen came towards the head of the sleeping person, then a blue and purple halo of symbols and designs appeared around his head. The program finished loading.

If you have ever used Google Earth, you will know it's a 3D globe with a huge collection of satellite images, 3D terrain, and loads of informational content. This program however similar, had a feature I had never seen before. on the bottom right hand side there was a horizontal drag bar.
As I moved the bar back and fourth, the images changed, as I moved the bar to the left, Buildings would disappear,  cities would shrink, and If I went far enough, the images would turn to black and white  then disappear, I looked back at the bar and held my cursor over it, and a small box read, [TIME]. there was a button to set it to present, left to go in the past, and right to the future and a box that displayed the date. This blew me away, I could look back in the past on old buildings and cities, and everything was there in meticulous detail. Everything from old cars to the very trees that inhabited the land before my house existed.

I set the bar to present time, then moved to the right ever so slowly, and what I saw disturbed me. the further in the future I went, the better the Images were, and the better they became the more real of an experience it seemed. I moved closer to the Los Angeles area and I could see people. I could feel the tension and emotion of these people, and as if flashes in my head, I could experience first hand what was going on. There was civil unrest over homes, land, and the standard of living. Thousands of people were running north to the richer neighborhoods to settle their scores. Unrest was in the air, rioting seemed inextinguishable and my mind was flooded with despair.

No sooner did this begin, it ended, and I was back looking at the computer screen, I flipped the bar further to the right. the scene before me sped up, and so did it's story it told. Out of chaos came growth, but not after hitting rock bottom. cities would rise, and no longer fall, but get larger, and larger, until the bar would move no further. What I saw would have made me drop to my knees If I had not been sitting.

The movement stopped, and I was free to stare at the shier mass of artificial earth which stretched out before me as far as I could see.  Building, that were more like mountain ranges, dwarfing the largest of today's modern buildings. Rows of tens of millions of lights and windows, on slanting super structures to contain humanity, the likes of which I could not even begin to explain to someone who had not seen them in person. I looked up through towers reaching out of the sky to meet my eyes with an even more massive suspended octagonal platform large enough to block the sun.

So much information hit me at once that I once again snapped back to my desk, I couldn't go on any longer without someone else to share this with. I turned in my char, away from the screen and yelled for my dad to come see this. When I got a response, I turned back to the screen, and looked at the date. There were just too many digits to make sense to me, I felt lost, and just as I turned and looked over my shoulder to see my dad entering my room...  I woke up to see my dad coming into my room...  There was no laptop.. It was 12:00 PM he had come to wake me up.

It didn't hit me until about 20 minutes later as to what I saw...
And I swear, It seemed real.

Would anyone care to relate to an exit experience for me?
I ask of this because I am having a hard time figuring out what stage I'm at, and I believe I maybe be carrying around a few misconceptions.

I have obtained full body paralysis a number of times, and have even experienced a dual consciousness sensation with my breathing as well as a double sensation in my legs. I can get myself to drift. I occasionally can hear sounds out of the ordinary, voices mostly. I would also feel a sort of detachment from my body, not as if I got up and left, but as if my body was shrinking and stretching until I felt as if I was a single point of consciousness among a void 3d blackness.

Those are just some of the things that happen to me while working towards an OBE and or AP. One thing I have a hard time grasping is the exit. I am a very visually stimulated person, and I have the idea that I will perceive my consciousness moving away from my body's closed eyelids, and entering a visually conscious environment. Is is wrong to believe the exit is like a light switch, or should I worry about other priorities before moving on?

I have had a vivid projection twice, the first was induced by sickness, and my consciousness gradually faded into another environment, the second was a result of a dream, and like the majority of my dreams, I'm not quite sure where it began. I know I cannot expect an exact replication of another experience, but I am curious as to hear a few exit descriptions.
if you are willing to share one with me, don't feel obligated to go off the charts in detail. Such an account will benefit me at my current state of progress.

This is an example of what happens when I attempt a projection:

Late last night I tried another attempt. this time, I did a little self hypnosis and meditation right before I went to bed. Once in bed, the first thing I noticed was my legs were almost humming with vibration. They seemed suspended in place with sensation on and all around them. Minutes later, the sensation spread towards my upper body and arms.
A short time later, I was already in a full body paralysis.

If you have ever been at a beach for any number of hours, out among the surf, or on a boat on rough seas, you might recall feeling the pulling/floating sensations long after setting foot on land, often times when sitting still and especially when in bed. That was one feeling I had last night. It was as if I was being moved horizontally in different directions by some sort of invisible wave or tide. I soon figured out I could move along with this pulling and follow in its direction. moving forwards would give me the sensation of flying forward at a walking speed at least 10 feet, moving backwards would be more like a drifting sensation and resulting in ascent or decent. moving to my side would feel like a slipping, and the further I went to my side, I began to flip, or roll, like my world was turning upside down. Moving to the side and rolling resulted in a very strange body confusion, almost as if I was looking at myself as an abstract portrait. When I moved forward, I also got the sense of elongation, like my legs were telephone polls.

After moving around any which way I could, at about 5-10 minutes into that, My heart rate skyrocketed, It felt as if I was having an adrenalin rush, my breathing became erratic, and I became out of breath, and no matter how much I would draw air in, my lungs seemed to only get smaller, like a boa constrictor had me in a death grip. By now it felt as if I was close to exit (or death lol), It seemed I was high in the sky, still on my bed, but my senses told me I was on top of a very tall platform. My perception of everything changed, and now it was if I was doing a slow motion back flip. There was a huge pressure in my forehead, like someone had planted an air hose in my nasal cavity and began blowing me up like a balloon. It was almost as if my skull was going to burst. At this point I started to hear some faint voices. and I wasn't sure how much longer I could hold the sensation, or rather, what to do next.

This is kind of strange.. but I thought it might be worth mentioning. "The common goldfish is the only known animal that can see in both infrared and ultraviolet light." I have a fish tank to the left hand side of my bed, with a solitary goldfish. he's a good fish, lol, never makes any problems for me, but this night he was ecstatic! right about the time I was feeling the pressure in my forehead, my fish was going crazy! jumping out of the water, splashing, hitting the glass, making as much noise a goldfish can physically make. this bothered me to no end, and ultimately resulted in a loss of concentration. I gathered enough will to turn my head and look at the tank... then everything came back. I opened my eyes, and there was my fish... He was calm now, and I had lost 90% of my extra sensations. my lower body was still in a paralyses state, but by then I was so warn out, and annoyed at my fish, I just said screw it, so I willed my legs and popped them back into life.

Does anyone else have these sensations? And what about the fish, does anyone have any ideas about that? As far as what I described, does anyone have any advice or comments? And I apologise for the length, I tend to do that...

It's been a number of weeks since I have had my first experience. And close to every day since then I have been either reading, building on techniques, practicing various forms of energy work, experimenting with Bw-Gen and other tracks, controlling my focus and even some work with telekinesis, all have produced various results.

First off I would will say I have not projected since then, or at least knowingly. There were times however when it seemed as if I did, but where the exit would normally take place, I completely blacked out.

My energy work has been useful, and if nothing else, it has proven to be very real experience. Im not sure how much of my body needs to work this way or not, but at least my hands and legs can be sort of "turned on" at will. The sensation I get is like an electrifying one as if I kind of spark or ignite my hands. I get various vibrations and a lot of misfiring nerves when I focus on them. My legs do the same thing, I have a difficult time controlling them, if at all, and they only appear to do it when I am attempting a projection. My hands however seem to work just fine, and depending on the level of attention and focus I give them, the greater the energy becomes.

I decided to take this ability and apply it to telekinesis, so I constructed a rather simple yet effective way to test this. I found a glass bottle, glued a piece of thread to the bottom of the cap, then glued a matchstick to the other end of the thread. After it dried, I poked a sewing needle perpendicular though the wood and suspended the cross in the of the bottle. With about 2 weeks of practice I am able to get it to move, and the results continue to increase.

After getting to a point where I could see noticeable results in energy work and telekinesis, I once again attempted to project. So far, all of my attempts have taken place at night in bed, either when I first go to bed, or around 2:00am. All of my attempts have been with the aid of tracks, Boxed Nirvana, and Abyss. The following are accounts of my projection attempts:

The first one I recall was around 11, or 12 at night. I got into bed put on my headphones, (Boxed Nirvana) and proceeded to do some simple stretches followed by relaxation and focus on my energy body. I reach a critical point in my concentration after about 5-10 minutes of this. It is because I am either too critical about where how I rest my body or I just cant find a comfortable position. (I normally sleep on my side, but since my first projection was done wile I was flat on my back, and it is very uncomfortable to lie on my side with headphones on) the matter consumes much of my though and energy. This time however I was able to keep my mind clear.

After lying for a good 15-20 minutes, I started feeling the tingling sensation all over. My hands, arms and legs were particularly noticeable and soon became electric. I started feeling the swaying, and floating sensations. I noticed my breathing was starting to change, and shortly after this discovery something kind of freaked me out. I was breathing twice over.. One, was my lungs and chest that I could control.. And the other seemed to be an involuntary double even when I knew I was holding my breath, I could still feel a second set of chest and lungs rising and falling.

I focused on my breathing and within another 5 minutes, the swaying and floating sensation became greater and I felt a popping, almost pulsing sensation on the temples of my head. Right after that it felt as if my legs dropped underneath my mattress. After floating for a bit, I started losing all sensations of my body, my limbs became numb and soon seemed to disappear completely. At that point I seemed to shrink to a point of existence floating in a void of 3D blackness. It wasn't long after that when everything I perceived just blacked out. I remember absolutely nothing after that, and I woke up with about 8 hours later with a splitting headache. Throughout that day I saw visions of symbols and lights with my eyes open and closed.

My second really memorable attempt took place a few days ago. It was around 3 in the morning, I had just to bed, I put my headphones on (this time Abyss) I didn't even have a chance to relax, 15-30 seconds into listening to the track, my body started lighting up with electricity and the sides of my head violently popped, as if someone was standing on my head with a plunger. Everything happened so fast, I was starting to see colors in my closed eyelids, and patches of blackness stood out from the rest and took on a sort of visual vibration. Soon my body produced the same vibration. Not even 5 minutes after beginning I now felt a flying sensation and the same double breathing as before. It felt as if I picked up and started flying feet first. Throughout the experience the sensations varied from flying forward, rising high into the air, floating back down, generally, it felt like I left my bed, but when I opened my eyes. I was right were I left off. After attempting to restart the process, I got close to the same results, and again, I blacked out.

The next day yet another strange thing happened. I show up to my first period class, and I brought with me an eraser with the words yes and no on it, (I've had this eraser for many years, and it seems to always give the right answers when it is spun a certain way, one of my friends asked, "is so and do going to die?" the eraser says yes.. The next person says "is so this person going to die?" again, it says yes, back and forth they asked different names with the same question like 5 or 6 times, and every time it landed on yes, one of my classmates remarked "everyone dies, it's just a matter of when" then on the last spin, somone asked if Vincent was going to die, (me) I spun in and it landed on its edge, (no mark) so I pushed it on its side so where it said "No" the friend to the left of me said "hey, you can't cheat like that" and I said something to the effect "I make my own reality" and It was from that moment on, and for the rest of the day, it pretty much came true.

At first I thought things were just happening as coincidence, but soon what was happening was starting to freak me out.. All I had to do was think it, and it would happen... I could work people, situations, and even time like a puppet. If said to myself "that person is going to turn around and look at me", he would. If I said to myself, "that car is going to hit the breaks and go in reverse" it would, if I said "this teacher will be in a really good mood, and give us no work" he would smile and play music the entire period. If I said "the bell wont ring and I wont be late" the bell would be a few minutes late and I could slip in without being noticed"

I could even make people talk to me and appear when they were nowhere to be seen prior to the thought. When I returned home, I saw a strange pare of sunglasses set on my livingroom table, the thought popped in my head... "that reminds me of one of my earliest childhood memories, a dream I had once, a long time ago. I was sitting on my bed and in my open closet I saw a sort of glowing broad sword propped up against the inner wall, I remarked, "it was like Excalibur" looking back, it was funny how I could come up with such a thought at such a young age, and after reminiscing, I walked over and picked up the glasses. On the sides the word "Excalibur"
was printed in the plastic.

This kind of thing happened all day. Long, it worked even to the extent of looking up to the sky and thinking about UFOs, and sure enough, about 2 or 3 thousand feet up, moving from North to South, was a transparent, glowing, triangular craft moving at a high speed. I was blown away be these experiences, and I think they may have something to do with the training I have been doing, all of these stories are interesting to me, and all of them have me asking questions. I am posting my experiences in order to get some feedback. I feel I am making some progress towards astral projection, and I have  definitely seen some side effects, but what advice can you guys give me at this point in my work?

any insight will be appreciated
and I look forward to posting more experiences as they come.

I am a bit perplexed about something I experienced last week when I was sick. At the time I was fighting off a fever. I was lying in bet trying desperately to find a comfortable position. After becoming quite exhausted something strange happened. I started feeling nauseous, almost as if I was sea sick.

I started feeling a sort of slipping or falling sensation underneath me. Considering I was lying flat on my back, there was no way I could be physically going backwards. Sometime during this sensation there was a seamless transition. At first northing seemed out of place.. I think I was either too tired or too distressed to notice, but before long I realized I was no longer in my bedroom.

The first thing that I recall is that fact that I was now standing. It was daylight. It was around 9 or 10 pm in real time when this happened, but during the experience it was clearly mid day, complete with blue sky and white clouds. I remember being able to look around at will. My recollection of the environment is a bit fuzzy, but I could defiantly tell I was outdoors.

Around me I could see large trees every few hundred feet, and below me was a concrete walkway surrounded by grass and rolling hills.(Almost like that Windows XP desktop, lol) My first thought was to move around. This is where things got interesting. My first attempt at walking forward was shot down quickly. Something told me that I needed to clear my path before moving. My knowledge of this seemed to come naturally because I don't remember taking the time to figure it out.

I had with me an object, or rather a set of objects, like a marker. These were really strange. I remember being able to bend over and place one of these on the floor. This "marker" contained of a pattern, one I don't ever recall seeing, but it seemed so familiar. I perceived it to be 2 dimensional, bearing no height, with the length and width of a large pizza box. After these were placed on the ground, I could then walk upon them.

Walking any further in any direction off of them would result in very real and very crippling physical pain in my back. This happened several times. Even during this experience I found it this to be sort of humorous, as if I was playing in some sort of life-sized board game. After recovering from a few wrong steps, I soon began stacking these markers. Don't ask me how it's possible to stack a 2 dimensional object on top of one another... I just did. I became frustrated with my situation, being stranded on a square in a world of pain wasn't the most enjoyable way to spend my time after lying sick in bed for more than 3 days.

It seemed more like I was summoning a pillar out of this flat tile, A few moments later it was towering over my head, reaching far into the sky. In an instant I shot up into the air, all the way into the black of space. This defiantly seemed strange, but since I had expressed the desire to see how far it went, I was already in the mindset so I just went with the flow. After reaching the top remember remarking to myself "At least I can see where I was" I was now a great distance from the planet I was standing on just moments prior. This planet was blue with oceans and streaking with weather systems, the pillar, now growing smaller as it disappeared into the distant planet led my eyes to the brownish-green continent in which it was planted.

This undoubtedly looked like the planet Earth, but there was no way for me to be sure. As fast as I got there, I shot back down to the ground, I had little or no sense of travel since the trip was almost instantaneous. Now I was back on the ground, the pillar was still there, everything was the same but I was a little unnerved by the sight of people around me and the surrounding area. There numbers ranged anywhere from 10-15 at first and upwards of 50 as time progressed. Many of these people were walking along the concrete walkway by me. Although for the most part these people looked normal and lifelike, there were a few instances where one or two would look strange, some of them were void of features, either they had no face I could recognize, or they were a silhouette.

The majority of them were moving around freely but a few standing still caught my attention. These ones I believed to be in the same situation as me. I seem to remember calling out to one of them saying they have to place that object down in front of them. Not much else in the way of interaction was made. I managed to move over some hills and follow a few a few of the figures, this eventually fatigued me to the point where it was hard to move anywhere. In general I had the sensation that I was tapped. The duration of this experience lasted anywhere from 15 minutes to a half an hour. I remember the pain building up to the point where I just stopped trying to move.

Shortly after stopping I found myself lying in bed. I was back in my room now, but I was still paralyzed. The large throbbing pain in my lower back was still there. After a few moments of readjustment I started to relax. And just as the experience was winding down, my mother came into my room to check on me. What I saw and felt was so real that I quickly reported what I saw to her. Wile I was describing what had happened, another strange phenomena hung over me. This time it was a very powerful feeling of déjà vu. It seemed like I had been in this very situation, or ones like it many times. For some reason I knew this is where I had been in prior times of sickness. And memories of times when I had been there seemed to be planted in my head, memories I had never known.

This story has me asking questions. I hadn't put the two together at the time, but just 3 days later Robert Bruce made an appearance on Coast to Coast AM on the topic of Astral Projection. This interview captivated me to the point where I went to his website, and found these forums.
Could the story I related to have any ties to Astral Projection? Is there any explanation to this?
Hallucination, or dream perhaps?

Any info will be appreciated, I know from reading these boards, there are many gifted and knowledgeable people here.  :)

Hello all, I am new to this community, I thought I would use this as an opportunity to introduce myself and pose a few questions and experiences with you guys. I have browsed these forums for some time now, and everyone here seems to be nice.

A little bit about myself: My name is Vincent, I live in southern California. I will be turning 17 this June, and I would like to explain why I am here, and how I got here. First off, I would like to give a bit of background info. From my earliest childhood, I have been gifted with various forms of artistic ability as well as a keen sense of perception. At first this meant I could always draw from my imagination and see things for what they really were. I was always the guy who was constantly finding things. Whenever I would go out on a trip, or out on a walk I would more often than not come back with a small treasure of some sort. Over the years I began to take my gifts and absorb into my mind.

After a period of turbulence in my life, I almost completely retreated into my mind. Not that I was hiding from anything in the physical world, or substituting my life with some fantasy, I began to think about everything. I began trying to understand everything around me, and not that I accomplished my goal in totality, it nevertheless changed the way I see the world. I had become a knowledge-seeker, one to the degree where I became a sort of outcast of a young society who worries more about things like what to wear, and what's on TV, more than life itself.

My quest for knowledge soon became a quest for truth. My father is an amateur astronomer and radio operator, my grandfather was a pilot, as well as a number of other relatives. I too follow their interests and accomplishment. My fondness for science, space, and aviation has always been with me. Knowing that, it seemed natural for me to come across the topic of extraterrestrials and UFOs at least once in my life. Indeed this topic has come up in my life, after witnessing such phenomena first hand and listening to stories from family and friends, I began a deep and extensive investigation of the hole story.

My research took me all the way from deep and secret government agendas to the extraterrestrials themselves. Midway though my work I came upon the fantastic late night radio program, Coast to Coast A.M., with Art Bell and George Noory. This further encouraged my work on the matter and soon broadened my horizons to new topics. My finding in the extraterrestrial world ultimately poured into the both spiritual and metaphysical realms.

I had not been completely ignorant of the paranormal, I believed in ghosts, and spirits, I had always questioned the unknowns about life, and death. I've seen ghosts and apparitions in my own house: Mysterious people waling though hallways only to disappear, orbs appearing in holiday photos, transparent figures walking though walls, I had even been visited by a dead man when I was an infant. There was not doubt in my mind something was there.

This is where I find myself in present day. I am still searching, and still learning. I have been intrigued with the E.V.P. phenomena, and have herd countless accounts of paranormal experiences broadcast every night on Coast to Coast. This whole thing has captivated my mind these days. It was on Monday, April 25th when I was introduced to the world of Astral Projection. That night, Robert Bruce appeared as a guest on Coast to Coast. He made quite a captivating show with stories of his experiences and teachings, later the next day I stopped by the site he provided: www.astraldynmaics.com. From there I found these forums. And well, here I am now.

I hope to become a part of this fascinating community, more so, I would like to learn more about this fascinating subject.
By the way, I think I experienced my first "remembered" and involuntary astral projection last Thursday, but for the sake of making an already long story short, I will put it in another post.
